In the Qur'an, the Quranic verse about clothing is an important theme which is worth elaborating to reveal the purpose of mentioning it. The urgency of the Quranic verse about clothing is illustrated by the terms which the Qur'an uses when talking about clothing. The Qur'an uses different terms, namely libas, zinah, labus, tsiyab and sarabil, all of which show the meaning of covering and protecting. This article aimed to reveal the dimensions contained in the terms of clothing used by the Qur'an. In addition, this article also aimed to reveal the meaning of the terms of clothing in the context of culture and people's tradition when the Qur'an was descended. Using a thematic method and a historical-sociological approach to the terms of clothing in the Qur'an, this article came to the finding that dressing in principle is commandment of Allah as evidence of His love for humans. The main function of clothing is as a cover of aurat (body parts required by Islam to be covered) reflecting that human having higher degree than other creatures. Human contentment on clothes and jewelry is basically in accordance with human nature. Humans are given freedom to make clothes to fulfill their needs by observing the criteria established by the Sharia. Islam is totally concerned about the ethics of dressing in worship and instructs to wear clean, holy and simple clothing. The Qur'an commands a muslim female believer to cover her head, neck and chest with a hijab so that it cannot be seen by others and is evidence of every muslim female believer in maintaining her honor and dignity.

SUMMARYThe safety analysis of human–robot collisions has recently drawn significant attention, as robots are increasingly used in human environments. In order to understand the potential injury a robot could cause in case of an impact, such incidents should be evaluated before designing a robot arm based on biomechanical safety criteria. In recent literature, such incidents have been investigated mostly by experimental crash-testing. However, experimental methods are expensive, and the design parameters of the robot arm are difficult to change instantly. In order to solve this issue, we propose a novel robot-human collision model consisting of a 6-degree-of-freedom mass-spring-damper system for impact analysis. Since the proposed robot-human consists of a head, neck, chest, and torso, the relative motion among these body parts can be analyzed. In this study, collision analysis of impacts to the head, neck, and chest at various collision speeds are conducted using the proposed collision model. Then, the degree of injury is estimated by using various biomechanical severity indices. The reliability of the proposed collision model is verified by comparing the obtained simulation results with experimental results from literature. Furthermore, the basic requirements for the design of safer robots are determined.

This article proposes a diachronic approach to Ishiguro’s novels aiming at inscribing his last novel in a reflection on the nature of humanity. Thus, Kazuo proved to have a delicate spirit by being able to place unprecedented storms, hurricanes, and great storms in a very convincing way. "Never Let Me Go" 31-year-old Kathy Sh. is based on the touching events of the girl’s years of private schooling and her subsequent life. The author skillfully depicts the love and donation of the protagonists Tommy and Ruth, so that it seems natural for Kathy to become a donor and donate her body parts to patients.

Abstract Backgrounds: The health of university staff is a major occupational health concern worldwide. Studies have reported low health-related quality of life (HRQOL), low job satisfaction and poor mental health in this occupational group. However, none of previous studies have measured health utility and compared it to a national norm. Therefore, this study was conducted to gain a deeper understanding of the HRQOL of university staff in China and to identify risk factors influential to their health. Methods: This was a cross-sectional survey conducted in a public university in China. Participants were interviewed face-to-face for demographic and socioeconomic information and health conditions. The Chinese version of the EQ-5D-5L instrument was used to measure HRQOL for calculating health utility. The relationship between health utility and sample characteristics was first examined using t-test and correlation analysis. Multivariate generalized linear models were further applied to evaluate the significance of these associations while adjusting for other variables. Results: The sample (n=154) had a mean age of 40.65 years and slightly more females (51.30%). The overall prevalence of diseases or symptoms was 81.17%. Participants attained the means (SDs) of 0.945 (0.073) and 83.00 (11.32) for the health utility and visual analogue scale respectively. The most affected domain was the anxiety/depression with 40.26% of participants reporting problems and 37.66% of the sample reported problems in the pain/discomfort domain. There were less than 5% participants reported problems in the mobility, self-care or daily activity domains individually. Multivariate models revealed that psychological/emotional conditions were associated with the largest utility loss of -0.067 (95%CI: -0.089, -0.045) followed by having a Master’s degree or higher (-0.048, 95%CI: -0.09, -0.005) and pain in body parts other than head, neck and back (-0.034, 95%CI: -0.055, -0.014).Conclusions: University staff in China may have worse HRQOL than the general population, which manifested mainly with the pain/discomfort and anxiety/depression domains. The significant factors for utility loss were having a Master’s degree or higher, psychological conditions and pain in body parts other than the head, neck and back. Targeted health promotion policies and programs should be created to benefit this occupational group and society overall.

More than 300 coots (Fulica americana) became frozen in Spring Lake, Tazewell County, Illinois, on December 1, 1985. This catastrophic event permitted 8 weeks of taphonomic observations, which showed that ice forms a stable substrate which permits terrestrial taphonomic processes to be imprinted on lacustrine deposits. Bird and mammal scavengers attacked coot carcasses in different manners, resulting in distinct disarticulation sequences. Bird scavengers preferentially fed on the head, neck, and breast-wing complex, causing early disarticulation of bones in these areas, late loss of hindlimb joints, and minimal bone damage. In contrast, mammal scavengers concentrated their attention on the hindlimb and tail region, resulting in bone breakage and early disarticulation of these body parts, but late disarticulation of the breast-wing complex. These data demonstrate that scavenger-specific feeding behaviors significantly influence disarticulation patterns early in assemblage formation, while anatomy may exert increasingly greater influence on disarticulation patterns as carasses become less attractive to scavengers. Finally, because taphonomic processes change in intensity and type through time, bone frequency and modification patterns will vary according to the time at which the patterns are arrested by burial. Thus, bone frequency and modification patterns should provide an index to the relative importance of specific biotic agents and of anatomy in fossil disarticulation patterns as well as an estimate of the time between death and burial.

Abstract: Introduction and aim: There are no high mountains or any advantageous circumstances for winter sports in Hungary, yet within the 10 million population there are about half a million people (the exact number is 550,000) who tend to go for skiing or snowboarding abroad. Authors compared the injury statistical data with results described in the international literature in order to develop conclusions about the differences in the injury patterns and frequency between the Hungarian ones’ and those found in countries with plenty of winter sport possibilities. Method: Authors analysed the winter sport injury cases of an insurance company. All the injury happened abroad and the assistance provider of the insurance company has managed the patient treatment and repatriation. Three winter seasons (12 months) data was analysed from the point of view of injuries frequency at different body parts and areas. Due to the fact that only limited information was available a simple statistical method was applied. Results: Of 222 cases 90.5% were ski-related injury and 8.6% were snowboard injury. As for the skiers, the upper limb injuries accounted for 21.9%, the truncal region for 24.4% and the lower limb for 55.8%. Among snowboarders the upper limb injuries accounted for 36.9%, the truncal region for 37% and the lower limb for 26.1%. The most frequent was the knee (36.8%), the wrist (12.4) and the shoulder (11.4) injury. Skier’s thumb injury was only 1.5%. The most common snowboard injury was the wrist trauma (31.6%), the head/neck/face was accounted 15.8% of all the injuries. And the ankle was injured in 10.5% of all the cases. The head/neck and the knee injury often combined with injuries of some other body part. 29 patients (13%) had to be repatriated, the most frequent reason for the repatriation was the injury of the lower limb. Conclusions: The Hungarian sportsmen’s injury patterns do not always follow data described in the international literature, but they correspond to data of countries with similar geographical situation. The injury rate of knee and of the shoulder displays same data, the injury rate of the wrist was more frequent than in the international data, and this is true both for skiers and the snowboarders. The Hungarians’ injury of the truncal region (mainly the head) was more frequent, but on the other hand the general injury rate of other body parts proved to be a lower number. It seems that the frequent use of the protective equipment and the preventive measures applied by the Hungarians are mirrored in the lower injury figures. Orv. Hetil., 2017, 158(16), 618–624.

ABSTRACT:Background/Objective:The incidence of head/neck trauma preceding cervical dystonia (CD) has been reported to be 5-21%. There are few reports comparing the clinical characteristics of patients with and without a history of injury. Our aim was to compare the clinical characteristics of idiopathic CD (CD-I) to those with onset precipitated by trauma (CD-T). Methods: We evaluated 114 consecutive patients with CD over a 9-month period. All patients were interviewed using a detailed questionnaire and had a neurological examination. Their clinical charts were also reviewed. Methods:We evaluated 114 consecutive patients with CD over a 9-month period. All patients were interviewed using a detailed questionnaire and had a neurological examination. Their clinical charts were also reviewed. Results:Fourteen patients (12%) had mild head/neck injury within a year preceding the onset of CD. Between the two groups (CD-I and CD-T), the gender distribution (F:M of 3:2), family history of movement disorders (32% vs. 29%), the prevalence of gestes antagonistes (65% vs. 64%), and response to botulinum toxin were similar. There were non-specific trends, including an earlier age of onset (mean ages 43.3 vs. 37.6), higher prevalence of neck pain (86% vs. 100%), head tremor (67% vs. 79%), and dystonia in other body parts (23% vs. 36%) in CD-T.Conclusion:CD-I and CD-T are clinically similar. Trauma may be a triggering factor in CD but this was only supported by non-significant trends in its earlier age of onset.
