The selection of universities still seems to be a problematic issue. Because until now, the variables to measure whether higher education institutions, especially PTI, are successful and reliable as a vehicle and means to foster and simulate their next generation is still and will remain questionable extension. Especially when the issue of "educated unemployment" becomes the focus of more parties, doubts about the extension of college are becoming increasingly sharp. An educational institution, especially higher education, is said to be successful or does not need to be viewed from various points of view; input (students), output (achievement), organizational processes and external components (parents and community). All of these components in successful educational institutions must be able to be achieved and implemented properly and able to establish cooperation in a constructive, intense and professional. Building a successful higher education is not an easy and easy job. Continuous effort in actualizing these ideals should not stop without seeing a satisfactory success.

SQL Server Reporting Services is a way to analyze data, create reports using the indicators and gauges. Indicators are minimal gauges that convey the state of a single data value at a glance, and most are used to represent the state of Key Performance Indicators. Manage and harmonize the performance of an institution's educational institutions, especially universities with the performance of individuals or resources, no doubt is one of the essential elements for the success of an entity of the institution. For the purpose of the development of novel approaches during the commission stage, the hygienic assessment of conditions of training in specially constructed innovative building of SKOLKOVO International Gymnasium was performed. Hygienic examination of innovative architectural and planning solutions, learning conditions and hygienic modeling of the optimal placement of furniture and equipment in multi-faceted educational facilities with panoramic glazing made it possible to predict the provision of the gymnasium with an optimal level of sanitary and epidemiological well-being of students. This is achieved by the innovative layout of the gymnasium building and its territory. Hygienic specification of zoning of both buildings and premises of the educational institution, include the requirements to satisfy the hygienic criteria on children education, motor activity, organization of proper nutrition, and using the building as a center for family leisure. Hygienic modeling of educational furniture and equipment provides optimal conditions (viewing angle) for visual work of students in all multifaceted classes. The obtained data are the basis for amendments to the state sanitary and epidemiological rules and regulations in the field of organization of education and upbringing of children.

The defining role of analytical research of personnel training processes for the transport industry is indicated. In particular, the possibility of using the vicious Knall’s circles to identify problems in the development of transport education is investigated. The traditional functionality of the Knall’s circles has been expanded to the study of the mechanisms of positive development of the research object. Two types of models for describing these processes are proposed and analyzed, taking into account both additive and multiplicative effects of development. Using concrete examples, the methodology for constructing various types of process models, selecting the optimal type of model and predicting development is shown. A systematic approach to the study of transport education is also proposed to be implemented using the tools of cenological analysis, which takes into account all participants in the personnel training system in the industry. The scientific and educational values of transport education allow us to determine the completeness and stability of the educational system, the direction of development (degradation, positive development of the system), the role and place of an individual educational institution in the personnel training system. The cytological study is illustrated by the example of the analysis of the results of the activities of branch railway universities. Scientific and educational self-regulating organizations for training specialists for the regional transport system are considered as one of the mechanisms for managing transport education. It is proposed to create self-regulating organizations of personnel training that regulate the activities of educational institutions, both among themselves and with consumers of educational services.

Purpose This paper aims to identify and model the key barriers to implementation of project-based learning (PjBL) in higher educational institution. Design/methodology/approach Using the interpretive structural modelling (ISM) technique, the study has developed a hierarchical-based model, depicting the mutual relationships amongst the key barriers to implementation of PjBL. Additionally, the paper has performed Matrice d’ Impacts Croises Multiplication Appliqué an Classement (MICMAC) analysis to categorize the barriers in terms of their driving and dependence power. Findings The study has identified the key barriers to implementation of PjBL and presented an integrated model using ISM. Higher educational institutions need to pay attention to diagnose and overcome these hindrances for effective implementation of PjBL in their programmes. Research limitations/implications The study adopts a systematic way to model the relevant barriers to implementation of PjBL. The ISM-based model would help higher education institutions to prioritize the issues as the barriers are hierarchically structured. As the input to model development is based on the experts’ opinions, it may be biased, influencing the final output of the structural model. Originality/value The presentation of PjBL implementation barriers in the form of an ISM-based model is a new effort. The model would be useful to understand the barriers and overcome these for the successful implementation of PjBL in higher educational institutions.
