The defining role of analytical research of personnel training processes for the transport industry is indicated. In particular, the possibility of using the vicious Knall’s circles to identify problems in the development of transport education is investigated. The traditional functionality of the Knall’s circles has been expanded to the study of the mechanisms of positive development of the research object. Two types of models for describing these processes are proposed and analyzed, taking into account both additive and multiplicative effects of development. Using concrete examples, the methodology for constructing various types of process models, selecting the optimal type of model and predicting development is shown. A systematic approach to the study of transport education is also proposed to be implemented using the tools of cenological analysis, which takes into account all participants in the personnel training system in the industry. The scientific and educational values of transport education allow us to determine the completeness and stability of the educational system, the direction of development (degradation, positive development of the system), the role and place of an individual educational institution in the personnel training system. The cytological study is illustrated by the example of the analysis of the results of the activities of branch railway universities. Scientific and educational self-regulating organizations for training specialists for the regional transport system are considered as one of the mechanisms for managing transport education. It is proposed to create self-regulating organizations of personnel training that regulate the activities of educational institutions, both among themselves and with consumers of educational services.

Syncretism from the past until now is still a topic of discussion in a study. At first syncretism existed only in the fields of religion and philosophy, but now it is developing in the educational aspect. This can be seen in educational institutions in Papua, especially the Papuan Islamic Education Foundation. This study uses qualitative analytical research with a historical approach. The results of this study indicate that Yapis Papua was founded on the initiation of community organizations and Islamic leaders who are in the NU and Muhammadiyah community organizations. The two organizations and Islamic leaders together building the Papuan community through education by establishing the Yapis Papua educational institution and now there are 193 schools and 5 universities in Papua. The role of leadership is very much needed in overcoming this problem. This paper aims to describe the leadership role of madrasah principals in improving the disciplinary culture of students at MAS Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analytic study method. Data were collected using interview techniques, observation and documentation study. The results of this study indicate that the headmaster of MAS Patra Mandiri Plaju Palembang has played its role and function in improving the disciplinary culture of students in a fairly good category. This is supported by 2 factors, namely (1) the role models of madrasah principals in complying with school regulations; and (2) socialization of school discipline rules and sanctions for violations. The obstacles faced by madrasah principals are (1) there are still some teachers who do not exemplify student attitudes; and (2) there are still students who are not "deterred" to be given disciplinary violations.

Knowledge-based systems are forms of computerized tools designed specially to help in many aspects specifically in collaboration activities. Despite the importance of these tools in generating, exchanging, and sharing the information and knowledge, many institutions, especially educational ones, are not interested in them, because of insufficient knowledge of the role of knowledge-based systems and their effectiveness in the academic events. The basic purposes of this paper are to find the role of knowledge-based systems collaboration tools (KBSCT) in higher educational institutions and to recognize in what way institution and student performance are affected by implementing KBSCT. The research questionnaires distributed to 100 participants, but only 67 were used and included in the frequency analysis. The results added a contribution in terms of identifying how the KBSCT effect on the higher educational institution and student's decisions.
