The aim of this study is to examine the effect of work stress on employee performance with locus of control (LoC) as moderating variable. This research was conducted at Hotel Novotel Bali Benoa with 73 employees as sample. Samplingtechnique used was probability sampling, especially proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaire containing 24 indicators of job stress, LoC, and employee performance. Data analysis technique implemented was Moderated Regression Analysis. The findings show that work stress is negatively affect employee performance. Locus of control has significant effect on the performance of the employees. In contrast to expectation, internal LoC has negative effect employeeperformance. Additionally, LoC emerges as moderating variable at the effect of work stress on employee performance

This study aims to determine the effect of work stress and job satisfaction on turnover intention and also to know the role of job satisfaction in mediating the influence between work stress and turnover intention. The number of samples taken was 72 employees, using the proportionate stratified random sampling method. The analysis technique used in this study is path analysis and sobel test. The results of the analysis show that work stress has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Job stress has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. The results of this study also show that job satisfaction mediates work stress on turnover intention. To reduce turnover intention, the hospital must be able to control the stress level of employees by paying attention to the workload given to individual work capacity and also the time given in completing work. The hospital is also advised to give awards to employees who have done their jobs well. Keywords: job stress, job satisfaction, turnover intention

In this study, there are results that contradict the theory which states that the higher the level of training and motivation, the employee's performance should increase.  In this study, training had no effect and motivation had no positive effect. This study aims to determine the effect of training and work motivation on employee performance in Kopiloka 3.0.  The population in this study were all employees at Kopiloka 3.0, which amounted to 15 people with a sample of 15 people using saturated sampling.  The data analysis technique in this study used SPSS 24 software, which consisted of data quality test, classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. By using multiple regression analysis, the results of the study show that training has no effect on employee performance.  Motivation has a significant effect on employee performance.  Simultaneously (together) the independent variables of training and motivation have an effect on employee performance.

Several factors are important determinants of students achievement. Students positive perceptions about these factors contribute to their achievement. Considering importance of students perceptions about themselves, teachers support, and institutional climate in influencing their academic achievement, this study specifically examines students perceptions about themselves as learners, teachers support, and institutional climate for predicting their achievement. This research employed survey and correlational research designs. For this research, 372 students were randomly selected as a sample using cluster and stratified random sampling techniques. For data collection in this study, a questionnaire was adapted from Donahue (1994). For data analysis, both descriptive and inferential statistics were used, with help of SPSS. It was concluded from multiple regression analysis that university students achievement (i.e., dependent variable) can be significantly predicted from their self-perceptions, teachers support and institutional climate (i.e., independent variables).
