Ngerebong ceremony is an oral tradition which is interpreted as a sacred ritual for the people in the Kesiman Traditional Village, Denpasar City. The Ngerebong ceremony is held every six months, to be precise every eight days after Kuningan Day. Until now, the Ngerebong ceremony which involves many parties and cultural components is still carried out by the Kesiman Traditional Village community. This is a challenge for the people of the Kesiman Traditional Village who do not shut themselves off from the influence of modernization. The purpose of this research was carried out to find out and understand the problems associated with the implementation of the Ngerebong ceremony for the people of the Kesiman Traditional Village. The research, which is located in the Kesiman traditional village, was conducted using qualitative methods and analyzed using the habitus theory. The problems studied include (1) what factors cause changes in the implementation of the Ngerebong ceremony?; (2) what is the function of the Ngerebong ceremony for the people of the Kesiman Traditional Village?; (3) what are the implications of the Ngerebong ceremony for the people of Denpasar City? The results showed that (1) the people of the Kesiman Traditional Village saw that they had to continue to carry out the Ngerebong ceremony because in their life it was motivated by religious ideology, conservation ideology, power ideology, and cultural ideology that made them obey the traditions they already had; (2) along with the times, the people of the Kesiman Traditional Village carry out the Ngerebong ceremony lively but still in accordance with the stages, traditions and customs they already have; (3) the implications of the implementation of the Ngerebong ceremony in the current global era for the people of the Kesiman Traditional Village appear to directly touch the characteristics of their life, strengthening the quality of cultural values ??and togetherness for all people in facing the challenges of cultural change in the global era.

The focus of this thesis/project is to reinforce the cultural identity of First Nations communities by incorporating local materials, vernacular strategies, and a collaborative effort into the design and build process. The Maliseet First Nations at Tobique, N.B., which will be used as a case study for this thesis/project, has experienced a deterioration of culture and community throughout the years. As oral tradition is fundamental to Maliseet culture, speaking the language, practicing techniques, and engaging with the community is vital in order to uphold the Maliseet people's cultural identity. However, these practices and values are fading in Aboriginal communities throughout the country. Isolated reserves such as Tobique also suffer from a lack of economic development and employment opportunities, causing residents to feel that they must fend for themselves rather than work collaboratively. Currently, almost all residential construction is contracted to outside developers, which use little to no band labour or resources. With limited government funding, houses constructed over the past few decades have generally been low in quality and constantly require repair, with many instances of severe mould damage. Learning from and incorporating vernacular strategies, techniques, and material use would offer appropriate responses to site and climate while reinforcing the Maliseet people's connection with their land and heritage. Engaging the entire community in the design and built process would pass on knowledge, techniques, and cultural values to the younger generation while strengthening the sense of community and cultural identity. An architectural approach which strives to enable a group of people through use of these strategies will promote self-sufficiency, engage the people in their culture and community, and open a cultural dialogue on the possibilities of design and its contribution to an evolving cultural identity.

Abstract: Islamic boarding school is one of the dominant Islamic education institutions and emphasizes religious studies that influence and impact the culture, tradition and preservation of Islamic teachings. Islamic boarding schools also play a role in the formatio n of a nation's civilization. Pesantren at this time must be prepared to face the challenges of globalization and produce graduates who can compete and fill the global era. For this reason, pesantren must be able to become institutions that are global in m ind and have capable resources, especially in Islamic education. Customary village is small group of people who still survive and consistently preserve the culture and belief of their ancestors. Local cultural values deserve to be promoted to the application of character education in school. The qualitative research understanding the life and local cultural values is carried out in the people of Kampung Adat Cirendeu in West Java. The local culture of the Kampung Adat Cirendeu people holds the principle of ngindung ka waktu and mibapa ka jaman which has the meaning of maintaining identity but still keeping abreast of the times. One of the local cultural values that still preserves until today is the culture of cassava-based food as a substitute for rice. This culture has been going on for a century and become an inspiration for the national food diversification program. One of the preservation efforts is through the example of their ancestors. Promotion and granting food culture values to the character education in schools involve various educational stakeholders (teachers, educators, governments, people, and customary peoples) that should give an example to the students. The most effective method is to form students with character and in the end they will be familiar with local food culture and does not depend on rice. Keywords: Character education, Kampung Adat Cirendeu, Exemplary. PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER NILAI-NILAI BUDAYA LOKAL MAKANAN DI MASYARAKAT KAMPUNG ADAT CIRENDEU JAWA BARAT MELALUI KETELADANANDesa adat adalah sekelompok kecil orang yang masih bertahan dan secara konsisten melestarikan budaya dan kepercayaan nenek moyang mereka. Nilai-nilai budaya lokal layak dipromosikan untuk penerapan pendidikan karakter di sekolah. Penelitian kualitatif yang memahami kehidupan dan nilai-nilai budaya lokal ini dilakukan pada masyarakat Kampung Adat Cirendeu di Jawa Barat. Budaya lokal masyarakat Kampung Adat Cirendeu memegang prinsip ngindung ka waktu dan mibapa ka jaman yang memiliki makna mempertahankan identitas tetapi tetap mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Salah satu nilai budaya lokal yang masih dipertahankan hingga saat ini yaitu budaya makanan berbasis singkong sebagai pengganti beras. Budaya ini telah berlangsung selama satu abad dan menjadi inspirasi bagi program diversifikasi pangan nasional. Salah satu upaya pelestariannya yaitu melalui contoh dari nenek moyang mereka. Promosi dan pemberian nilai-nilai budaya makanan untuk pendidikan karakter di sekolah melibatkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan pendidikan (guru, pendidik, pemerintah, masyarakat, dan masyarakat adat) yang harus memberikan contoh kepada siswa. Metode yang paling efektif yaitu membentuk para siswa dengan karakter dan pada akhirnya mereka akan terbiasa dengan budaya makanan lokal dan tidak bergantung pada beras. Kata kunci: Pendidikan karakter, Kampung Adat Cirendeu, teladan.

The development of the times and the rapid pace of globalization that is getting faster make humans need adequate transportation facilities so that a technology in the field of online-based transportation has developed using an application via a smartphone. Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 118 of 2018 concerning the Administration of Rental Vehicles and Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 12 of 2019 concerning Safety Protection of Motorbike Users Used in the Interest of the Community, online transportation is now a new and alternative breakthrough in fulfilling the needs of the public. do not have private vehicles as happened to the community in South Tangerang City. However, the presence of online transportation in the community forgets something that is so important, namely its protection as a consumer. This study aims to determine consumer protection for users of online transportation services in South Tangerang City according to Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection and to determine the quality of online transportation services in South Tangerang City. The research method uses qualitative methods using an empirical juridical approach. Data samples were taken from key informants such as PT. Karya Anak Bangsa (Go-Jek) Application, PT. Indonesian Transportation Solutions (Grab), online transportation drivers, and of course the people of South Tangerang City who are directly involved in the implementation of consumer protection and service activities on online transportation in South Tangerang City. Meanwhile, the supporting informants in this study were the South Tangerang City Police and the South Tangerang City Transportation Agency as government agencies that indirectly knew about consumer protection and the quality of online transportation services in South Tangerang City. The results of the study found that consumer protection for online transportation users in South Tangerang City was quite good, this can be seen from the results of interviews with online transportation service providers such as Gojek and Grab that have implemented SOPs (Standard Operational Procedures) when consumers experience losses both formal and material and also There are no reports from the public to the South Tangerang Police who feel aggrieved as a consumer of online transportation. In addition, the quality of online transportation services in South Tangerang City is quite good, but there are still some consumer complaints such as the driver asking to be canceled, the driver canceling unilaterally, the driver coming too long to pick up, the driver using a different vehicle, and the time to arrive at a different destination. longer than the estimated time in the application.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui latar belakang, perkembangan, serta dampak keberadaan Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Tompobulu di Kecamatan Tompobulu, Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah yang terdiri atas empat tahapan yaitu: heuristik, kritik sumber, interpertasi, dan historiografi. Data untuk penelitian ini diperoleh dari situs resmi dari Badan Pusat Statistik Kecamatan Tompobulu, serta hasil wawancara dengan beberapa pihak yang berperan penting dalam Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Tompobulu. Beberapa sumber buku yang terkait dengan dengan kajian penulis yang diperoleh dari Perpustakaan Kota Makassar, Perpustakaan Umum Universitas Negeri Makassar, Perpustakaan Prodi Pendidikan Sejarah, serta beberapa situs di internet. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Tompobulu memiliki peranan penting dalam dunia pendidikan di Kecamatan Tompobulu. Yayasan ini berdiri sebagai solusi bagi masyarakat Tompobulu yang mengalami kendala dalam pendidikan. Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, maka yayasan ini juga mengalami perkembangan mengikuti zaman, sehingga  madrasah-madrasah naungan Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Tompobulu mampu bersaing dengan sekolah-sekolah lain yang ada di Kabupaten Gowa, khususnya di Kecamatan Tompobulu. Yayasan ini memiliki peranan yang besar dalam mencerdaskan serta meningkatkan mutu perekonomian masyarakat Kecamatan Tompobulu. Kata kunci : Yayasan, Pendidikan Islam, Tompobulu Abstract This research and writing aims to determine the background, development, and impact of the existence of the Tompobulu Islamic Education Foundation in Tompobulu District, Gowa Regency. This study uses a historical research method which consists of four stages, namely: heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Data for this study were obtained from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency of Tompobulu District, as well as the results of interviews with several parties who played an important role in the Tompobulu Islamic Education Foundation. Several book sources related to the study of writers obtained from the Makassar City Library, Makassar Public University Public Library, Historical Education Study Library, and several sites on the internet. The results of this study indicate that the existence of the Tompobulu Islamic Education Foundation has an important role in the world of education in Tompobulu District. This foundation stands as a solution for the people of Tompobulu who experience obstacles in education. As time goes by, the foundation also develops with the times, so that the Islamic Education Foundation Tompobulu madrassas are able to compete with other schools in Gowa Regency, especially in Tompobulu District. ABSTRACT  Actualization of the value of character education based on local wisdom in the course of global perspective is done in order to equip students with noble values of the nation's culture to face the swift current of globalization. Javanese ethical values such as the principle of harmony and honor principles are presented as a study material that is an important part in discussing social changes and lifestyles of society in the global era. Included in this study is the study of the typical local wisdom of the people around Yogyakarta. The student's positive response indicates that the cultural values of our ancestral heritage still allow us to lift and revive in order to fortify the young generation today from the negative effects of global culture, since this course presents many insights into global culture that leads to pop culture, . Giving awareness to students about real-world phenomena behind the meaning of words from globalization, including discussing many things about current global issues, will be more effective if done by cultivating character education based on local wisdom.  Keywords: character education, culture, local wisdom, global perspective

The development of a tourist area must be supported by the facilities and quality of existing Human Resources knowledge in the local area; Namely knowledge of tourism activities, the ability and communication skills and understanding of the rules of the game with foreign tourists. Setokok Beach is one of the destinations taken into account in supporting the marine tourism area in Batam. For this reason, legal guidance is needed specifically relating to the environment and the legal rules governing environmental preservation to the community so that they can live a life of society, nation and state without doing any damage to the environment that is now rife in Batam for it as one of the areas around Batam island in order to be prevented about the dangers of environmental damage in accordance with the current of globalization and the development of the times so that inevitably the community is demanded to be able to know the ins and outs of legal issues related to preserving and protecting the environment especially to the people at Setokok beach. The method taught is in the form of fostering Understanding of Environmental Law and English conversation practice according to the needs and conditions of training participants. The results obtained through community service in Setokok Beach can be seen from the mastery of the ability to practice law and speaking conversation.
