The purpose of this research is ti find out the results of the use of modeling grade in SDN 009 Northen Sangatta. Specially for the improvement of reading aloud in the pre reading stage when reading the post reading stage with the modelling strategies of of second grade elementary school student 009 Northen Sangatta. This research methodology is a type of classroom action research, research procedures used are planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research uses three cycles one cycle twice meeting. The problems contained in the first cycle will be followed up by the second cycle research and the third cycle research.The results of this study are the ability of pre reading in the first cycle an average of 60,7 % , the twice cycle an average of 73,2 % and an average the third cycle of 81,8 %.  The ability to read aloud from the pre cycle test value which is used as the basic value obtained before the average action of 64,4 with sufficiently improved criteria in the first cycle of action of an average of 67,5 with sufficient criteria, increased cycle two by an average of 69,8 with the criteria are sufficient and increase in the average three cycle of 75,4 with good criteria. Post reading ability in cycle one is 64,2 % an average cycle two is 69,8 % and cycle three is 81,8 %. The conclusion that the application of modeling strategies can increase the ability to read aloud preweens when reading and post reading of second grade elementary school student 009 Northen Sangatta.

ABSTRACTThis research aims to increase student activity and learning outcomes of social studies in Karangtengah Baru Elementary School Grade IV Subdistrict Imogiri District Bantul through the application of inquiry learning by using flow chart media. This type of research is a classroom action research which is held in three cycles.each cycle conducted through planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted in the second semester of the school year 2016/2017 in Karangtengah Baru Elementary School Grade IV Subdistrict Imogiri District Bantul with subject 22 students. Data collection techniques used in this research by using observation, test and documentation and The result of the research shows the improvement of teacher activity, students activity and students achievement. Teacher activity in the first cycle reach percentage on 71,86%, improving in the second cycle to 81,90% and increase to 85,83% on the third cycle. Students activity in the first cycle reach percentage on 71,86%, improving in the second cycle to 81,90% and the third cycle on 85,83%. Student learning outcomes showed that in the first cycle an average 74,41 students with reach percentage of achievement on 72,72% or 16 students completed and 6 students uncompleted. In the second cycle with average of 78,32, percentage of achievement on 77,27% or 17 students completed and 5 students did not completed the study. Increase at third cycle with an average of 82,63, reach percentage of achievement on 86,36% or 19 students completed and 3 students did not completed the study. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of inquiry learning by using flow chart media can increase the activity and learning outcomes of social studies grade IV in Karangtengah Baru Elementary School Grade IV Subdistrict Imogiri District Bantul. Keywords: Flow Chart, Inquiry Learning, Learning Outcomes of Social Studies and Student Activit. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SD Karangtengah Baru Kecamatan Imogiri Kabupaten Bantul menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan media gambar berseri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus dilakukan empat tahapan yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Karangtengah Baru Imogiri Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Tekhnik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui observasi, tes hasil belajar IPS dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar yang dicapai siswa.  Hal ini dapat dilihat dari pencapaian aktivitas guru sebesar 73,62% pada siklus I menjadi 84,10% pada siklus II dan meningkat menjadi 87,50% pada siklus III. Aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran siklus I mencapai persentase keberhasilan sebesar 71,86%, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 81,90% dan siklus III sebesar 85,83%. Hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 74,41 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 72,72% atau 16 siswa tuntas dan 6 siswa tidak tuntas. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus II meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata 78,32% dan persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 77,27%, 17 siswa tuntas dan 5 siswa tidak tuntas, meningkat pada siklus III dengan rata-rata nilai siswa 82,63, persentase ketuntasan klasikal 86,36% atau 19 siswa tuntas dan 3 siswa tidak tuntas. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran inkuiri dengan media gambar berseri dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPS kelas IV SD Karangtengah Baru Kecamatan Imogiri Kabupaten Bantul. Kata Kunci: Aktivitas Siswa, Hasil Belajar IPS, Media Gambar Berseri,  Pembelajaran Inkuiri

At Marshall Elementary School, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, students are assigned to small groups for instruction on specific mathematics topics. Assignments to these groups are made on the basis of when students are “ready” for a particular topic. The five-day mini unit described in this article was taught to a group of seven second graders and one third grader. The second graders were slightly above grade level and the third grader was slightly below grade level.

AbstrakHampir 90% siswa kelas rendah terutama kelas satu dan dua di SDN 066055 belum mampu membaca dengan baik dan lebih dari 50% siswa kelas tiga belum paham dengan apa yang dibacanya. Sementara kemampuan membaca siswa di SD IT Ulul Ilmi lebih baik dibanding SDN 066055, hampir 90% siswa kelas satu dan duanya mampu membaca dan lebih dari 50% siswa kelas tiganya paham dengan apa yang dibacanya. Namun strategi guru dalam mengajarkan membaca pada kedua sekolah tersebut masih konvensional. Dimana guru masih mengajarkan membaca dengan cara mengeja, abjad, suku kata tanpa ada variasi. Kemampuan anak juga berbeda-beda, ada anak yang mampu membaca tapi tidak paham dengan apa yang dibacanya. Bahkan ada anak yang belum mampu membaca dalam makna yang sebenarnya. Perbedaan kemampuan anak ini mengakibatkan perlunya pendekatan yang berbeda pula. Minimnya pengetahuan guru tentang teknik pengajaran membaca mengakibatkan banyak anak hanya mampu membaca dalam artian hanya mengeluarkan bunyi saja. Hal tersebut disebabkan sedikitnya guru yang mempunyai pengalaman dalam pelatihan-pelatihan yang berkaitan dengan inovasi pembelajaran khusunya pembelajaran membaca pada kelas rendah sekolah dasar. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan inovasi untuk meningkatkan minat membaca anak, sehingga dapat menumbuhkan sikap positif anak dalam belajar khususnya membaca, dengan mengadakan kegiatan membaca berimbang pada guru-guru SD di kota Medan.Kata Kunci: Membaca berimbang, Minat membaca, Sekolah DasarAbstract Nearly 90% of low grade students, especially first and second grade in SDN 066055 have not been able to read well and more than 50% of third graders have not understood what they read. While students' reading ability in SD Ulul Ilmi is better than SDN 066055, almost 90% of first and second graders are able to read and more than 50% of third graders are familiar with what they read. But the teacher's strategy in teaching reading on both schools is still conventional. Where teachers still teach reading by spelling, alphabet, syllables without any variation. The ability of children is also different, there are children who are able to read but do not understand what he read. There are even children who have not been able to read in the true meaning. Differences in the ability of these children lead to the need for different approaches. The lack of knowledge of teachers about reading teaching techniques resulted in many children only able to read in the sense that only the sounds. This is due to the lack of teachers who have experience in trainings related to learning innovation, especially reading learning in low grade elementary school. Therefore it is necessary to innovate to increase interest in reading children, so that it can grow a positive attitude of children in learning especially reading, by holding a balanced reading activity in elementary school teachers in the city of Medan. <p class="Default"><em>This purpose of the study was to improve the ability to counting with long and short storage techniques with powerpoint for students grade II of SD Negeri Selomerto for the 2020/2021 academic year. This research was conducted in two cycles. Where in each cycle has stages that start from doing planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of the study : cycle 1 shows increase from pre cycle, 55% students complete and cycle two shows increase form cycle 1, 76% student complete from 29 students in the class. The results of the research that have been done show that the powerpoint media improves students counting skills, especially in adding long and short storage techniques in Grade II SD Negeri Selomerto. </em></p>

This research about the use of interactive multimedia in Local Language Learning in the Elementary School in Surakarta region aimed to find out the effectiveness of the use interactive multimedia in the Wayang Purwa and Javanese script topics. This research applied research and development (R&D) method with one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The data were collected using tests. The validity test comprised of instrument and content validation. The results of the treatment to the third-grade students of SD Negeri Karangasem III Surakarta in the topic of Wayang Purwa showed that the average score in the pre-cycle, first cycle, and second cycle always increased. In the pre-cycle, the students' average score was 54.9 with the completeness percentage of 31.2 %. The average score after the treatment in the first cycle was 72.34 with the completeness percentage of 71.88 and in the second cycle was 81.27 with the completeness percentage of 90.63 %. The same results were also obtained in the topic of Javanese script in the second-grade students of SD Tunggulsari II Surakarta indicating that the average score of pre-cycle, first cycle, and second cycle always increased. The classical completeness percentage in the pre-cycle of 6.25 % increased to 56.25 % in the first cycle and 93.75 in the second cycle. The conclusion is that the used of interactive multimedia can improve the skills of Wayang Purwa storytelling and Javanese-script writing.

Research describes descriptive to develop LKPD to Accommodate Student Diversity in Class II Thematic Learning, study the feasibility of LKPD products based on expert validators, and study students' responses to LKPD products. This research was conducted at Muhammadiyah Danunegaran Elementary School. Data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The research method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method. The steps of LKPD product development according to Borg and Gall's suggestion are 5 simple steps, namely: (1) product analysis to be developed or exploratory study, (2) initial product development, (3) expert validation and product improvement, (4) limited trials and product revisions, (5) main trials and final products. The research subjects were second-grade students of Muhammadiyah Danunegaran Elementary School. The results of the research are LKPD products that have been successfully developed. The feasibility of LKPD products has received a good rating from the validator material with an average score of 149, a good score from the validator, a linguist with an average score of 60, a good list from the validator, a media expert with an average score of 59, and also both from the teacher class with an average score of 75. Limited and primary trials show positive student responses with a percentage of 100%. Thus, the development of this LKPD product is of good quality and helps students in the thematic material of grade II Elementary School.

This research was motivated by the low ability of students to read at the beginning, so the researchers applied the SAS method in order to help students who still had difficulty reading. This study aims to determine the difference between the pretest and posttest by applying the synthetic analytical structural method (SAS) in reading the beginning of grade II elementary school students and to determine the increase in the pretest and posttest in reading the beginning of students. This type of research is a type of pretest-posttest one group pre-experimental design, which is an experiment that is only carried out in one group, without comparison. This research was carried out in class II SDN 004 Baturijal Hulu, Peranap sub-district with a total of 29 students. Based on the research results, it was found that the average value of reading ability before being treated (pretest) was 51.68 while the average value of reading ability after treatment (posttest) was 88.65 and the average value of normality gain was 0.76 which including the high category and the results of hypothesis testing using t-test with t = 47.191 and t table = 2.045, it is concluded that t count> t table, then reject H0 means significant. This means that there is a significant increase in pre-test reading in grade II students between before (pretest) and after (posttest) applying the Synthetic Structural Analytical (SAS) method.

<p><em>This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in estimating the total price of goods through the kahoot application. This research is a classroom action research conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research was conducted on the second grade students of SD Negeri Margasari 07 with a total of 20 students. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Margasari 07, Margasari District, Tegal Regency. When the study was conducted from October to November 2020. The results showed that student learning outcomes in estimating the total price of goods had increased. This can be seen from the average value of learning outcomes in the first cycle of 74 up to 80 in the second cycle. And in the third cycle the average value rose to 85. The number of students who completed the first cycle was 70%, in the second cycle it increased to 85% and in the third cycle it became 95%. So it can be concluded that using the Kahoot application can improve the learning outcomes of grade II SD Negeri Margasar 07 in estimating the total price of goods.</em></p>

Abstract   Student’s reading interest Elementary school, especially grade 2 SD Sumber Bandung, is still low because they prefer to play online games, watch television, etc. This factor causes their reading ability is still lacking. In addition, there are reading books in school institutions that are still monotonous without pictures so that children get bored easily and are not interested in reading them. This study purposed to see how effectiveness of pictural story book in increasing reading inters of grade 2 students at SD Sumber Bandung. The method has been use in this research is an experimental research method with one group pre test – post test design. The use of learning media to foster children's interest in reading is by using picture story books. This picture book is more developed if the teacher dares to be creative. This picture story book is effectively used in the second grade students of SD Sumber Bandung because it includes games and education. In the picture story book there are several learning activities including observing, telling, reading and sorting the pictures so that they become a complete story. Furthermore, the teacher can add / collaborate on strategies or methods that can support the use of other picture story books to be more innovative in each lesson. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Subject Spesific Pedagogy (SSP) tematik yang layak; dan menguji keefektifan SSP tematik untuk menanamkan kedisiplinan dan kepedulian pada siswa sekolah dasar kelas II. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Depelopment (R&D) dengan mengacu pada model Borg & Gall yang terdiri dari 10 tahap. Dalam penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap ke 9 yaitu studi pendahuluan, perencanaan, mengembangkan produk awal, uji coba awal, revisi produk utama, uji coba lapangan, revisi terhadap produk operasional, uji coba lapangan produk operasional, dan revisi produk final. Subjek ujicoba adalah siswa kelas II SDN Glagah Yogyakarta. Subjek uji coba satu-satu terdiri atas 3 orang dari kelas II.B, uji coba kelompok kecil terdiri atas 10 siswa dari kelas II.B  yang belum terlibat dalam uji coba satu-satu dan uji coba lapangan terdiri atas 56 siswa dari kelas II.A dan II.C. Instrumen pengumpulan data terdiri dari pedoman wawancara, lembar penilaian produk, penilaian SSP oleh guru, lembar pengamatan karakter siswa, angket karakter disiplin, angket karakter peduli dan lembar penilaian. Hasil penelitian ini berupa SSP yang meliputi: silabus, RPP, LKS dan lembar penilaian. Hasil penilaian SSP berupa silabus, RPP, LKS dan lembar penilaian yang dikembangkan berkategori baik. Hasil uji coba produk dinyatakan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar afektif untuk karakter disiplin adalah 91,11 dan peduli adalah 91,82. Dengan demikian dapat dinyatakan bahwa SSP yang dikembangkan layak dan efektif untuk menanamkan kedisiplinan dan kepedulian siswa sekolah dasar kelas II. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ DEVELOPING THEMATIC SUBJECT SPECIFIC PEDAGOGY TO INCULCATE THE DISCIPLINE AND CARE AT THE SECOND GRADE STUDENT OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOLABSTRACT This study aims to produce thematic Specific Pedagogy Subject (SSP) which is suitable, and to assess the validity of thematic SSP to inculcate the characters of Grade II students of the elementary school, especially those of discipline and care. This was a Research and Development (R & D) based on Borg & Gall model consist of ten stages. In this research were nine stages only, namely: (1) preliminary study and data collection, (2) planning, (3) product draft development, (4) preliminary field tryout, (5) revision of the tryout result, (6) field tryout, (7) product finalization based the field tryout result, (8) field implementation testing, and (9) final product finalization. The tryout subjects were Grade II students of SDN Glagah Yogyakarta. The one-to-one tryout subjects consisted of three students from Grade II B, the small-group tryout subjects consisted of ten students from Grade II B who were not involved in the one-to-one tryout and the field tryout subjects consisted of 56 students from Grade II A and Grade II C. The instruments of collecting data consisted of the guide of interview, scoring paper on product, the assessment of SSP by teachers, observation paper of students’ characters, questionnaire of discipline, questionnaire of care and scoring paper. The result of the study is in the form of SSP consisting of a syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets, and assessment instruments. The results of the evaluation show that the developed syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets, developed assessment instruments are good. The results of tryout product it can be concluded the students’ average affective learning outcomes of discipline and care are 91.11 and 91.82 respectively. Therefore, it can be concluded that the developed SSP is in the good category and effective to inculcate the discipline and care at the second grade students of elementary school.
