Some of the factors that influence adolescent reproductive health are, among others, knowledge, personality, attitude and environment. This study generally aimed to determine the relationship between adolescent characteristics and adolescent knowledge about reproductive health. This research was an analytical study with a cross-sectional study approach, using primary data obtained from a questionnaire, which was given to adolescents totaling 56 respondents aged 10-19 years. Data processing used the SPSS program 20. Data analysis in this study was univariate and bivariate analysis with Chi-Square statistical tests. The results showed that there was a relationship between age and adolescent knowledge about reproductive health with a p value of 0.009 (p <0.05), there was no relationship between gender and adolescent knowledge with a p value of 0.103 (p> 0.05), and there was a relationship between sources of information and knowledge with a p value of 0.006 (p <0.05). From the results of this study, the researchers suggested that adolescents should continue to improve their knowledge regarding reproductive health, either face-to-face or mass media

Hyperbilirubinemia is one of the clinical phenomena most often found in neonates occurring in the first week of life, which is also one of the factors causing infant death is influenced by the immature liver function of the baby to process erythrocytes (red blood cells), resulting in the accumulation of bilirubin. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of birth weight of infants with the incidence of hyperbilirubinemia in RSUD dr. Ibnu Soetowo Baturaja Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2019. This study uses analytic methods with a cross-sectional approach. The study population was all infants aged 0-7 days in the neonatal room at RSUD dr. Ibnu Soetowo Baturaja Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2019, with a random sampling. Data analysis uses univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using distribution tables and Chi-Square statistical tests, with a 95% confidence level. In the univariate analysis, of 203 respondents found 26.5% had hyperbilirubinemia and those without hyperbilirubinemia 72.5%, 24.6% of infants with LBW and non-LBW infants 75.4%. Bivariate analysis showed that there was an LBW relationship with the incidence of hyperbilirubinemia (p-value 0,000).

Anemia is a condition when the levels of hemoglobin and erythrocytes are lower than normal. The normal value of hemoglobin in women is 12 -16 g / dl with erythrocytes from 3.5 to 4.5 jt / mm3. This study aimed to determine the relationship between nutritional status and Anemia of teenage girl. This research is analytic with cross sectional study design. The samples taken are 66 teenage girls, chosen by quote sampling. The data of this research used primary data obtained through checking up of body mass index and hemoglobin level. The data analysis used univariate analysis and bivariate analysis used Chi-square test. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between nutritional status and Anemia (p value 0.001).

Abstrak   Setiap individu memiliki pola defekasi berbeda-beda yang dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya adalah asupan serat. Secara fisiologis serat makanan didefenisikan sebagai karbohidrat yang resisten terhadap enzim hidrolisis saluran pencernaan manusia. Berdasarkan data RISKESDAS 2013, Sumatera Barat menempati urutan ketiga terendah konsumsi serat di seluruh provinsi Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan hubungan antara konsumsi serat dan pola defekasi pada mahasiswi Fakultas Kedokteran Unand angkatan 2012. Ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional yang dilakukan pada 114 responden. Data primer dikumpulkan dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner dan food recall 2x24 jam dan diolah dengan menggunakan Nutrisurvey untuk food recall dan uji statistik chi-square. Hasil analisis univariat menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswi Fakultas Kedokteran Unand angkatan 2012 mengkonsumsi serat rendah dan mengalami resiko terjadinya konstipasi. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara konsumsi serat terhadap pola defekasi dengan nilai p > α (0,408 > 0,05).Kata kunci: konsumsi serat, pola defekasi, kuesioner, food recall AbstractEach individual has a different pattern of defecation which is influenced by several factors such as intake of fiber. Dietary fiber is defined as carbohydrates that are resistant to hydrolysis enzymes in human digestive. Based on data RISKESDAS 2013, West Sumatra ranks third lowest fiber intake across Indonesian provinces. The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between fiber intake and defecation pattern in the student of the Faculty of Medicine Unand 2012. This was a cross sectional study that conducted on 114 respondents. Primary data was collected by interviews using questionnaires and food recall 2x24 hours and processed using Nutrisurvey for food recall and  chi-square statistic test. Results of univariate analysis showed that most of the student of the Faculty of Medicine Unand 2012 consume low fiber and the risk of experiencing constipation. Results of bivariate analysis showed no significant association between fiber intake and defecation patterns with p-value > α (0.408> 0.05). World breastfeeding coverage according to Indonesia is 55.7%, this coverage is still below the target of 80%. Factors The causes of low exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia include factors of knowledge and support of the husband.This study was analytical with a design cross-sectional carried out in the Aia Pacah Sub-districts Air Dingin Health Center on June 21 -1 July 2018. Samples in this study were all husbands who had 6-12 months infants, a total sampling technique of 46 people. The data used were primary data which the instrument filled out the questionnaire directly by the respondents, the data was processed by editing, coding, entry, cleaning, and processing and analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with statistical test chi-square. The results of the study found that statistical tests using Chi-Square with a significance level of 95%, the p-value <0.005 is 0.004, p value> 0.05, which is 0.705. The conclusion of this research is that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge with exclusive breastfeeding and there is no relationship between husband's support and exclusive breastfeeding.

Implementation of IMD in hospitals has decreased from the previous year and has not reached the target set by the government. Some IMD implementation processes have not been carried out according to applicable standards. So that babies do not get an IMD in accordance with existing SOPs. The purpose of this study was to determine the determinant factors associated with the implementation of the IMD by midwives in the Midwifery and Maternity Room Emergency Room (IGD) at the Anutapura General Hospital in Palu. This research method is analytical with cross sectional approach. The population of this study was that all midwives in the obstetrics emergency room and maternity room at Anutapura Palu Hospital were 37 respondents. The sample in this study is total sampling. The analysis used was univariate, and bivariate analysis using the chi square test with a confidence level of 95% (α = 0.05). The results of statistical tests on variable knowledge of midwives with the implementation of IMD p value: 0.018 (p value <0.05). APN training with the implementation of IMD p value: 0.697 (p value> 0.05). length of work with the implementation of IMD p value: 0.029 (p value <0.05). and peer support with the implementation of IMD p value: 0.007 (p value <0.05). Conclusions there is a relationship between knowledge, length of work, peer support with the implementation of the IMD, and training factors that have nothing to do with IMD implementation. The strongest factor in the relationship is peer support. It is recommended that the Anutarapura Palu Hospital be able to motivate midwives so that they can further enhance their role in the implementation and provide support to their colleagues so that the implementation of the IMD can be carried out in accordance with applicable standards.Keywords: Knowledge, APN Training, Duration of work, Implementation of IMD

Breastfeeding for up to 6 months is recommended by various health organizations, including the Ministry of Health. Objective: This study was carried out to determine the prevalence of microdontia among patients undergoing orthodontic treatment. Materials and Methods: This was a cross-sectional study conducted at Sindh Institute of Oral Health Sciences, (JSMU) from January-2020 to May-2020. Pre-treatment casts were taken of 140 subjects. The mesiodistal dimension of each tooth was recorded through the vernier caliper. Frequency and percentage were calculated for the presence of microdontia. The test applied was Pearson’s Chi-square test to assess the relationship between microdontia and variables like age and gender. P-value <0.05 was taken as statistically significant. Data analysis was performed on SPSS version 22. Results: A total of 140 subjects were selected i.e. 105 (75%) females and 35 (25%) males aged range 13 -30 years with mean age 18.29 ± 3.88. Out of 42, single tooth microdontia was found in 3 (7.1%), more than one tooth microdontia, and generalized microdontia was present in 36 (85.7%) and 3 (7.1%) respectively. Microdontia was found to be more common in the maxilla (n=42, 100%) than the mandible (n=14, 33.3%). It was found more common in females (n=37, 35.2%) as compared to males (n=5, 14.3%). Statistically significant relationship was found among gender and prevalence of microdontia (p=0.019) with a statistically insignificant relationship between age and presence of microdontia (p=0.228). Conclusions: Microdontia was found to be a frequent dental anomaly, was more common in maxilla and females with a significant association with gender.

erineal rupture needs attention because it can cause dysfunction of the female reproductive organs, as a source of bleeding, a source, or a way in and out of infection, then it can cause death due to bleeding or sepsis. About 85% of Women who delivery vaginally experience perineal rupture, in the age group 25-30 years 24%, while in maternal age 32-39 years by 62%. In Asia, perineal rupture is also a problem in society, 50 % of the world's occurrence is in Asia. The study aims to determine the relationship of maternal factors to the position of the second stage labor and perineal rupture occurrence. This research applied a descriptive-analytic method using a cross-sectional research design. The research sample was 102 respondents, accidental random sampling, which was all labor with perineal rupture in July to November 2018. Statistical tests used chi-square. The results of perineal rupture with maternal age was p-value 0.042 (p <0.05), perineal rupture with maternal parity was p-value 0.01 (p <0.05). Suggestions for various maternal positions in maternity and ANC classes to prevent perineal rupture.

ABSTRACT: THE CORRELATIONS OF AGE AND HYPERTENSION WITH THE OCCURRENCE OF BPH IN THE SURGICAL WARD AT RSUD DR.H.ABDUL MOELOEK IN 2020Introduction: Lower Urinary Tractus Symptoms (LUTS) is a problem that is experienced by men around the world and one that often occurs is Benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH). BPH is a histological disorder characterized by the proliferation of prostate cells. It is estimated that 50% of men show BPH histopathology at the age of 60 years old and an increase of 90% at the age of 80 years old. Hypertension is also known to have a role in increasing prostate volume, in a cohort study it was found that hypertension resulted in an increased risk of 1.5 times to cause LUTS/BPH.Objective: To determine the relationship between age and hypertension on the incidence of BPH in Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek in 2020.Methods: This study is quantitative research, an observative analytic study design with a cross-sectional approach was carried out at RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek which was taken on October 16, 2020. The population was all patients in the Surgical Ward with total sampling. Data collection was obtained from secondary data from medical records. Data analysis was performed Univariate analysis (frequency distribution) and bivariate analysis with chi-square.Results: Respondents with BPH aged >50 years old were 32 respondents (97%) and respondents with BPH and hypertension were 20 respondents (60.6%). The results of the bivariate analysis using chi-square showed a significant relationship between BPH and age p value=0.000 (P<0.05) and the relationship between BPH and hypertension with p value=0.000 (p<0.05).Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between BPH with age and hypertension with the occurrence of BPH in the Surgical polyclinic at RSUD Dr.H.Abdul Moeloek in 2020. Keywords: BPH, Age, Hypertension  INTISARI: HUBUNGAN USIA DAN HIPERTENSI TERHADAP KEJADIAN BPH DI RSUD Dr.H.ABDUL MOELOEK Pendahuluan: Lower Urinary Tractus Symptoms (LUTS) adalah masalah yang banyak dialami oleh laki-laki di seluruh dunia dan salah satu yang sering terjadi adalah Benigna Prostat Hyperplasia (BPH). BPH adalah kelainan histologis yang khas di tandai dengan proliferasi sel-sel prostat. Diperkirakan 50% laki-laki menunjukan histopatologi BPH pada umur 60 tahun dan meningkat 90% pada umur 80 tahun  Hipertensi juga diketahui memiliki peranan dalam peningkatan volume prostat yakni pada suatu penelitian cohort diketahui adanya hipertensi mengakibatkan peningkatan resiko sebanyak 1,5 kali untuk menimbulkan gejala LUTS/BPH.Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan usia dan hipertensi terhadap kejadian BPH di RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Tahun 2020Metode: Jenis penelitian kuantitatif, rancangan penelitian analitik observatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional telah dilakukan di RSUD Dr.H.Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung yang berlangsung pada 16 Oktober 2020. Populasi adalah seluruh pasien di Poli Bedah dengan pengambilan sampel secara total sampling. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari data sekunder yang diperoleh dari rekam medis. Analisis data secara univariat (distribusi frekuensi) dan uji bivariat mengunakan chi squareHasil: Responden dengan BPH yang berusia >50 tahun sebanyak 32 responden (97%) dan responden dengan BPH dengan hipertensi sebanyak 20 responden (60,6%). Hasil Uji bivariat menggunakan chi square menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara BPH dengan usia diperoleh nilai p=0,000 (P<0,05) dan hubungan BPH dengan hipertensi nilai p=0,000 (p<0,05).Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara BPH dengan usia dan terdapat hubungan sgnifikan antara BPH dengan hipertensi di poli klinik bedah RSUD Dr.H.Abdul Moeloek tahun 2020.Kata kunci: BPH, Usia, Hipertensi

Background: PT. X implements a daily trip method that takes ±1,5 hours to arrive at the offshore platforms. Travel time that’s too long can cause fatigue. Purpose: Analyzing the effect of a daily trip system on PT. X contractor worker fatigue at offshore site. Method: This research was conducted at one of PT. X’s offshore Gresik Sites in June 2021 used Fatigue Assessment Scale (FAS) questionnaire with observational analytics method and cross-sectional study design. Research samples were taken from the population of 153 construction workers PT. X at offshore site. The data obtained were analyzed using quantitative approach, data analysis used univariate analysis and bivariate analysis, chi-square statistical test with significance value or confidence interval was 95% and error interval was 5%  (CI = 95% and α = 0.05). Result: PT. X Contractor workers at the offshore site had 85 workers (55.56%) that get fatigue. Statistical analysis test showed there was no significant relationship between a daily trip system with fatigue on PT. X Contractor workers at the offshore site (p-value = 0.140). Factors that affect fatigue on PT. X Contractor workers at the offshore site were age, body mass index, and workload (p-value successive were 0.047, 0.014, and 0.001). Conclusion: A daily trip system has no effect with fatigue on PT. X contractor worker at the offshore site, recommended for the contractor to improve the BMI and manage the workload so that its more evenly distributed.
