<em>The aims of this study is to improve teacher potential through Bimtek to compile the 2013 Curriculum Syllabus in Cluster 1 of Kintamani District, and Bangli Regency. This study was Regional School Action Research (PTSW) using two cycle designs and each cycle consists of four stages, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. In collecting the data, this study used measurement techniques, in the form of tests to obtain quantitative data. The observation sheet is used to obtain qualitative data. The data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis. There are 11 Hinduism Teachers, in Cluster 1 with less moderate and capable criteria. The teachers are ability to compile the syllabus as a classroom learning plan. The results showed that the quality of Hindu teachers in Cluster I gets enough title and the teacher who gets a good predicate is 45% so that the increase is 17% from enough to good. Furthermore, while the first cycle received a very good predicate as much as 18% in cycle 2 to 55% so that it experienced a 37% increase in the number of syllabus compilation from cycle I to cycle II. However, based on the result of this study was effective to achieve the target.</em>

This study concerns on improving students’ achievement in writing procedure texts through word webbing technique. The research was conducted by using Classroom Action Research (CAR). The population was the 2012-2013 nine grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis. The number of students was 36, consisting of 21 females and 15 males. The procedure of the research was administrated into two cycles where each cycle consisted of three meetings. Each meeting included four steps namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. There were two kinds of data collected during the study, qualitative and quantitative data. The instrument for collecting the quantitative data was the writing of procedure texts test while the qualitative data were gathered by using interview, diary notes and observation sheet. Based on the data analysis, the mean of students’ score in Test I was 53,47, for the Test II was 63,05, and for the Test III was 75 The qualitative data showed that the students were interested in the applying of Word webbing Technique. The conclusion is that Word Webbing Technique in writing Procedure Texts improves the students’ achievement in writing procedure texts. This study addresses how writing games improve acceleration students� writing narrative achievement, also observe how students� behavior during playing the games and also the teacher on conducting the games along the research. This study has been conducted in acceleration students. It uses classroom action research, the data analyzed from qualitative and quantitative data. The qualitative data are about teacher�s interview and students� questionnaire, while the quantitative data is about their scores on writing narrative. To solve the problem, the teacher has implemented Writing Games as a technique. Writing Games contain of games which tend to writing ability and in this case, the teacher chose two kinds of writing games; they are �Silly Story� and �What�s Next?�. �Silly Story� focuses on students� ability on writing sentences and �What�s Next?� focuses on students� ability on making paragraph. This research consists of two cycles and each of it has planning, action, observation and reflection. These findings implicate that acceleration students were interested with writing games and involved in it well. However, during the research, especially in the first cycle, there was still one group was less active in �Silly Story� because they could not discuss each other and the group was quiet big.�

The aims of this study is to improve the teacher's potential through training in making lesson plan of curriculum 2013 at the GAH KKG in Tembuku District, and in Bangli Regency. This study is School Action Research (PTS) using two cycles design and each cycle consists of four stages, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. A measurement technique in the form of test is used to obtain a quantitative data and an observation sheets is used to obtain a qualitative data. The data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis. The subjects in this study were 30 Hindu Religion Teachers, in GAH KKG with less moderate and capable criteria. The object of this study is the ability of teachers to make a lesson plan of 2013 Curriculum to manage classroom learning. Furthermore, based on the results of this study first, at the end of the first and second cycles there was an increase in the average results of teacher's potential through training. The results of the previous training at 70.00 to 87.60. Then, in the third cycle the professional level of the teacher achieved good grades. Second, it turned out that the increase of teacher's potential through training by activating the GAH KKG in Tembuku district and in Bangli regency in 2018 showed very significant results from the initial conditions before receiving the training.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru di SDN Tlambah 2, Kabupaten Karangpenang Sampang. Perencanaan pembelajaran tematik dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran tematik. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah guru kelas di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Tlambah 2, Kabupaten Karangpenang Sampang. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, menggunakan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi dalam setiap siklus. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini disimpulkan bahwa supervisi kelompok dengan pendekatan kolaboratif dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru kelas di SDN Tlambah 2 Kabupaten Karangpenang Sampang.   Kata kunci: kolaboratif, kompetensi, tematik     Abstract: This research was conducted with the aim of increasing the competency of teachers in SDN Tlambah 2, Karangpenang Sampang District, Spreading thematic learning planning in improving the quality of thematic learning. Research subjects in this action research are low grade teachers in Tlambah 2 Public Elementary School, Karangpenang Sampang District. School action research means it is carried out in two cycles, using the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection in each cycle. The collected data is analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Grinnell College participated in ACRL’s first cohort of Assessment in Action (AiA), undertaking a mixed-methods action research project to assess the effectiveness of librarian-led research literacy sessions in improving students’ research skills. The quantitative data showed that the quality of students’ sources did not markedly improve following a research literacy session, while the qualitative data indicated that many students were able to state and describe important research concepts they learned. This article profiles the development of Grinnell’s AiA project and discusses how Grinnell’s librarians responded when the initial results led to more questions rather than to satisfactory answers.

This study aims to describe the factors that support students' ability in the learning process to speak using video. This research was classroom action research. Classroom action research was done in four steps: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Quantitative data was gained from the score of the student's speaking test. The test was given at the end of every cycle. The qualitative data was collected through the result of observation. It described the factors that support the students' ability to speak based on the result observation from the collaborator activities both the students and the researcher itself. The research aimed to explain how video can increase students' speaking skills in the second semester of the English Education Study Program for IKIP Gunungsitoli. Using video can increase students' skills in speaking. Quantitative data support it included test results in every cycle. The quantitative data show that students have improved speaking skills in every cycle using video and reaching the indicator of success. The students' ability to speak cannot pass the score standard in the cycle because most students cannot convey their ideas about the material. However, in cycle II, there is increasing in student's ability to speak. The quantitative data also is supported by the qualitative data through observation results. The observation sheet result describes that the students' activities improved every meeting by using video.

The purpose of this research was to determine the process of implementation of learning activities using storytelling methods with dioramas media in improving the language skills of children in group B and to know the extent of the results of improving children's language skills through storytelling methods with dioramas in group B. The method used in this research is an action research which refers to the model of a Classroom Action Research Kemmis and Mc. Taggart consist of four phase: planning, action, observation and reflection. This research consist of two cycles, each cycle consist of 6 times in actions. Analysis of the data used quantitative and qualitative approaches. Analysis of quantitative data used descriptive statistics that compare the results obtained from the first cycle and the second cycle. While the analysis of qualitative data used analyzing data from the field notes and interviews during the research by steps of data reduction, data display and data verification. The results showed an improvement in language skills through storytelling methods with dioramas, as evidenced by the average pre-action language proficiency score of children by 39%. Then increased in cycle I by 20% to 59%. Furthermore, from cycle I to cycle II children's language skills increased by 30% from 59% to 89%. So that the total improvement of children's language skills ranging from pre-action, cycle I to cycle II 39% which is 59% to 89%.

Based on observations of the competence of teachers of SMA Negeri 1 Panga Aceh Jaya Regency in compiling reports on school action research, it was found that the phenomenon that the professional competence of teachers in compiling Classroom Action Research (CAR) was still low. The purpose of this study was to describe and obtain information on improving teacher professional competence in compiling classroom action research reports through the CLCK (Example, Exercise, Control, Independ-ent Work) coaching model in SMA Negeri 1 Panga Aceh Jaya Regency. This research is a School Ac-tion Research (PTS). Research procedures in this study include planning, action, observation and reflec-tion. This study consisted of two cycles with four meetings. The research subjects consisted of 6 teach-ers of SMA Negeri 1 Panga, Aceh Jaya Regency. The research data were collected using observation sheets. The data were analyzed using success rates. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the mentoring-based CLCK coaching model can improve the ability of teachers to compile classroom action research reports at SMA Negeri 1 Panga Aceh Jaya Regency. Analysis of the quality of the CAR reports prepared by teachers shows that the professional competence of teachers in preparing classroom action research reports has increased from cycle I to cycle II. The professional competence of teachers in preparing classroom action research reports in cycle I was 76.50 (Good) in-creased to 87.16 (Very Good) in cycle II with an increase of 10.66 points.

Introduction: Action research is one of the important methods in medical education quality improvement. This study aims to improve quality of 'health service management' student’s clerkship course using action research. Methods: This action research study used mix method approach and was conducted in Tabriz University of Medical Science in 2018 year using Simon’s six stage model. Qualitative data was collected through in deapth interviews and focus group discussions (FGDs). Quantitative data was collected through a reliable and validated questionnaire. The participants were 17 health service management students (enrolled in 2015-2016) and the control group were 28 health service management students enrolled in 2014-2015). Qualitative data were analysed using content-analysis and quantitative data were analysed using T-test by SPSS-16 software. Result: Overall, 14 problems were identified and for 11 problems interventions were designed. The most important strengths of clerkship were;a)regular planning, b) appropriate assessment, c)scoring, high level of tutor attendance and d)more attention to management issues. Coordination problems and inappropriate headline of portfolio in some cases were weakness of this action research. The results of quantitative evaluation show that all items of questionnaire were improved. After reseach, %20.6 increase was observed in students' satisfactions level in the intervention groupcompared with the control group (80.7 vs. 60.1) (p>0.05). Conclusion: This action research significantly improved quality of clerkship course, it’s recommended that in future years same studies with aim to more quality improvement implemented.

This research is to analyze the implementation of active learning strategy in improving students’ motivation in speaking English. Active learning strategy was intended to improve students’ motivation. The researcher undertakes in three procedures; trading place, question students have, and action learning. In this research, the researcher uses classroom action research in three cycles. The model used is Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The stages are four stages including planning, action, observation, and reflectionThe calculation of student’s mean score, the data of motivation improvement in every cycle;the pre-testis 54.65%, the cycle 1 is 82.55%, cycle 2 is 92.35 and cycle-3 is 98.60.Every cycle is done in three meetings. The test is given in four times; the first is pre-test, the second test is in the end of cycle 1, the third test is in the end of cycle 2, and the forth test is in the end of cycle 3. The result of research indicates the improvement of students’ speaking ability. In this case, quantitative data in every cycle describes the improvement. The pre test has average score 31, cycle 1 has average score 57.83, cycle 2 has average score 69.17, and cycle three has average score 95.34.Keywords: Motivation, speaking ability, active learning strategy.
