This study addresses how writing games improve acceleration students� writing narrative achievement, also observe how students� behavior during playing the games and also the teacher on conducting the games along the research. This study has been conducted in acceleration students. It uses classroom action research, the data analyzed from qualitative and quantitative data. The qualitative data are about teacher�s interview and students� questionnaire, while the quantitative data is about their scores on writing narrative. To solve the problem, the teacher has implemented Writing Games as a technique. Writing Games contain of games which tend to writing ability and in this case, the teacher chose two kinds of writing games; they are �Silly Story� and �What�s Next?�. �Silly Story� focuses on students� ability on writing sentences and �What�s Next?� focuses on students� ability on making paragraph. This research consists of two cycles and each of it has planning, action, observation and reflection. These findings implicate that acceleration students were interested with writing games and involved in it well. However, during the research, especially in the first cycle, there was still one group was less active in �Silly Story� because they could not discuss each other and the group was quiet big.�

This study concerns on improving students’ achievement in writing procedure texts through word webbing technique. The research was conducted by using Classroom Action Research (CAR). The population was the 2012-2013 nine grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Batang Kuis. The number of students was 36, consisting of 21 females and 15 males. The procedure of the research was administrated into two cycles where each cycle consisted of three meetings. Each meeting included four steps namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. There were two kinds of data collected during the study, qualitative and quantitative data. The instrument for collecting the quantitative data was the writing of procedure texts test while the qualitative data were gathered by using interview, diary notes and observation sheet. Based on the data analysis, the mean of students’ score in Test I was 53,47, for the Test II was 63,05, and for the Test III was 75 The qualitative data showed that the students were interested in the applying of Word webbing Technique. The conclusion is that Word Webbing Technique in writing Procedure Texts improves the students’ achievement in writing procedure texts. This study aims to describe the factors that support students' ability in the learning process to speak using video. This research was classroom action research. Classroom action research was done in four steps: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Quantitative data was gained from the score of the student's speaking test. The test was given at the end of every cycle. The qualitative data was collected through the result of observation. It described the factors that support the students' ability to speak based on the result observation from the collaborator activities both the students and the researcher itself. The research aimed to explain how video can increase students' speaking skills in the second semester of the English Education Study Program for IKIP Gunungsitoli. Using video can increase students' skills in speaking. Quantitative data support it included test results in every cycle. The quantitative data show that students have improved speaking skills in every cycle using video and reaching the indicator of success. The students' ability to speak cannot pass the score standard in the cycle because most students cannot convey their ideas about the material. However, in cycle II, there is increasing in student's ability to speak. The quantitative data also is supported by the qualitative data through observation results. The observation sheet result describes that the students' activities improved every meeting by using video.

The purpose of this research is to develop the speaking ability of 5-6 years’ children at the Kindergarten of Islam Al-Fattah in Wanasari Village, Bekasi District by watching video. The research applied classroom action research within two cycles. Each cycles consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the research included ten children of B group who have speaking ability problems. The data were collected using no-test instruments such as observation, interview, and document study. The data were analyzed employing qualitative and quantitative paradigm. The result of the research show that using video can improve the children speaking ability.

Social skills and collaboration of children in playing games and supporting factors and constraints of the whirlwind game in improving social skills and collaboration of children in Al-Akbar Kindergarten, Jambi City. Classroom Action Research was conducted at Al-Akbar Kindergarten, Jambi City. The method used in research is the Classroom Action Research method. Research was conducted in three cycles, each cycle consisted of stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Quantitative and qualitative data collection. Indicators of success are as follows: increasing social skills and cooperation more than 80% and minimum teacher performance Good percentage of 3.00. From the data analysis of first cycle research, the results of the ability of social skills and the collaboration of children in playing areas were 45% with very less categories, then improvements to the results of the study increased by 70 % with sufficient categories. To further maximize the social skills and collaboration of children through playing, the research continues to improve the third cycle with a very good increase to 90%. Based on the results of the study, the researchers concluded that playing the game at Al-Akbar Kindergarten in Jambi City could improve social skills and child cooperation and improve teacher performance. Based on the results of the study, it can be suggested to use a whirlwind game in providing learning especially to improve social skills and cooperation in early childhood.

<p><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p><br /> Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan <em>nature-based learning</em> dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mengklasifikasi pada anak usia 4-5 tahun. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Angkasa Lanud Adi Soemarmo Colomadu. Jenis penelitian ini  adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Prosedur penelitian ini terdiri dari :  perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi.  Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok A berjumlah 20 anak. Uji validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik.  Teknik analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan berupa teknik analisis data komparatif untuk membandingkan presentase dari hasil tindakan tiap siklus serta analisis kualitatif interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan melalui penerapan <em>nature-based learning</em> mampu meningkatkan kemampuan mengklasifikasi pada anak usia 4-5 tahun. Peningkatan dapat dilihat melalui meningkatnya kemampuan mengklasifikasi anak yaitu mengklasifikasi warna, mengklasifikasi ukuran dan mengklasifikasi benda berpasangan 2 variasi.                                                                      <br /> <strong>Kata kunci</strong> : Kemampuan mengklasifikasi, <em>nature-based learning</em>, anak usia 4-5 tahun</p><p class="Default"> </p><p class="Default"><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p><p class="Default"><strong> </strong></p><p>This research aims to know the nature-based learning application to increase the classification ability of children age 4-5 years old. This research was conducted at Tk Angkasa Lanud Adi soemarmo Colomadu. The type of this research is classroom action research with quantitative and qualitative approach. The procedure of this research divided into : planning, action, observation and  reflection. The technique of collecting data are observation,  interview,  test and documentation. The subject of this research are group of children that 20 child. The validity test of data are source triangulation and technique triangulation. The quantitative data are analyzed by comparative data analyze technique,  to compare the percentage of action result each cycle,  and analyzed by interactive qualitative. The result of the research show that nature based learning application capable to increase the classification ability of children age 4-5 teara old. Improvement can be seen by means of increasing the classification ability of children are classify the colour, classify the size,  and classify the match things two variation.</p><p class="Default"><strong>Keyword</strong><strong>s</strong><strong> </strong>: <em>classifying ability</em>, nature based learning, children aged  4-5 years.</p>

<em>The aims of this study is to improve teacher potential through Bimtek to compile the 2013 Curriculum Syllabus in Cluster 1 of Kintamani District, and Bangli Regency. This study was Regional School Action Research (PTSW) using two cycle designs and each cycle consists of four stages, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. In collecting the data, this study used measurement techniques, in the form of tests to obtain quantitative data. The observation sheet is used to obtain qualitative data. The data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis. There are 11 Hinduism Teachers, in Cluster 1 with less moderate and capable criteria. The teachers are ability to compile the syllabus as a classroom learning plan. The results showed that the quality of Hindu teachers in Cluster I gets enough title and the teacher who gets a good predicate is 45% so that the increase is 17% from enough to good. Furthermore, while the first cycle received a very good predicate as much as 18% in cycle 2 to 55% so that it experienced a 37% increase in the number of syllabus compilation from cycle I to cycle II. However, based on the result of this study was effective to achieve the target.</em>

This study was conducted to discover students’ achievement in narrative text through snowball throwing model. The design of this study was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of this study was the students of Grade VIII, 2013/2014 school year of SMP Swasta Taman Harapan Medan. The number of students was 39 students. The research was conducted in to two cycles and each cycle consisted of three meeting which consisted of four stages, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. To collect the data the instruments that used were qualitative and quantitative data. The qualitative data were collected by using diary notes, observation sheet, and questionnaire sheet. The quantitative data were collected by giving speaking test. Based on the data, the students’ score in speaking test got improvement in every cycle. In Test I, the mean of the students’ score was 64.44 while in Test II, the mean of the students’ score was 68.92 and in Test III, the mean of students’ score was 74.15. Based on the result of quantitative data, it was found that there was improvement on students’ speaking achievement in narrative text. This research concerned on Improving the Students’ Achievement in Writing Descriptive Texts through Prepare, Organize, Write, Edit, Rewrite (POWER) Strategy. In this research, the writer conducted classroom action research. Subject of this research were the second year students of SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Pura Class XI AK consisted of 35 students. This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle was organized in four steps, namely Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting. Cycle II was the improvement of Cycle I. There are two kinds of data collected during the research, qualitative and quantitative data. The instruments for the quantitative data was writing test while the qualitative data was gathered through Observation Sheet, Interview Sheet and Diary Notes. Findings showed that students’ score improved from Orientation Test to Test II. Based on the data analysis, Students’ mean in Orientation Test was 38.37, in Test I was 66.49, and Test II was 83.11. The conclusion is that the Prepare, Organize, Write, Edit, Rewrite (POWER) Strategy can improve the students’ achievement in writing descriptive text.

 The aims of this classroom action research are (1) to find out whether role play can increase students’ participation in teaching-learning process and (2) to find out whether it can increase students’ ability in speaking. The data collected in this research were both qualitative and quantitative. The qualitative data were used to find out the students’ participation while the quantitative data were used to determine the students’ ability in speaking. The indicators of the success of this research were (1) that the students are 100% active during the teaching-learning process and (2) that at least 85% of the students get the minimum score of 70. In the first cycle, only 9 students (56%) who take participation, while the percentage of students who get the minimum score of 70 is 4 students (25%). In the second cycle, the percentage of students who take participation is 16 students (100%) and the percentage of students who get the minimum score of 70 is 8 students (50%). In the last cycle, the third cycle, it was gained that the percentage of students who take participation is 100% and the percentage of students who get the minimum score of 70 is 14 students (87.75%). In other words, the target of this research has been achieved at the end of the third cycle.

Two stay two stray strategy is a fun learning activity because the strategy makes students motivated in learning to write report text. This research uses classroom action research to solve some problems at class IX SMP Al-muhajirin somengko in learning to write English. The problems are less interested in writing English, lack of ideas, grammar, and lack vocabulary. Based on the problems the writer tried to conduct classroom action research by applying two stay two stray strategy. The purpose of this research are: (1) To describe the implementation of two stay two stray strategy in teaching writing for nine grade students of SMP Al-Muhajirin Sumengko. (2) To describe the improvement of writing ability of nine grade students of SMP Al-Muhajirin Sumengko after implementing two stay two stray strategy. (3) To describe the student's response to the implementation of two stay two stray strategy. This study was conducted in 1 cycle of two meetings through four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collected through observation checklist, field notes, and questionnaires. The result from data analysis found that students' ability improved after post-activity assignment. The evident is  from the results of tests showing the pre-activity assignment data is 13.6 with the category of students adequate to fair, after post activity assignment is 15.7 with category student ability good to adequate. It can be concluded that two stay two stray strategy is successfully implemented to improve the ability to write students.
