<p>Character education is a self building and a planned effort which aim to foster the character of students to strengthen their character. It is said that establishing character education can help students understand the values of human behavior related to God, self and others. Aim of this study is to explore good values connected character education establishment stemming from hadits (sayings of the Prophet). Method of this study is a literature review to investigate books containing hadits. In this effort, researchers tried to find meanings of the hadits connective to character building. Findings show that character education is needed, because education is not only aimed at fostering smart students, but education also aims to foster character and decency in everyday life. If students have character, then the nation will be good. Because students are the nation's next generation, they must educate their own character from an early age so that when they become the nation's successor they are not only smart, but also have character. Therefore, the inculcation of character values in students must start as early as possible, that is, the period in which children absorb a lot of future applied knowledge.</p>

ABSTRACTThe decline in the quality of the nation's character is characterized by the number of cases popping up that are not in accordance with norm values such as; rampant corruption, theft, murder, rape and juvenile delinquency cases such as brawls, free sex and drug abuse, to overcome this it is necessary to character education for children from an early age. The purpose of writing to find out how to improve the character of the nation based on Evidence Based. In the process of searching literature, several databases are used such as Pubmed, NCBI, goole shoolar and sciencedirect. It is expected that parents will set an example and instill good character in children and play a useful role playing game and prevent children from seeing unfavorable characters in the environment. With character education will develop the basic potential to be kind, think well, and behave well. This research focuses to explore the concept of moral education according to ibn Miskawih and Aristoteles. What are the similarities and differences in their opinions about morals education?. The main aspect of human self development is morality, namely the source of human behaviour that applied in everyday life. This research uses qualitative methods while the type of research is library research. Research is carried out based on the literature review. The results of the study is that the concept of ahlak education according to Ibn Miskawih an Aristoteles is related to character, soul and virtue, goodness and happiness, virtue and midpoint, early age education and akhlak purpose. The equality of the two concepts is that akhlak education is based on the soul of each individual. Background: Currently, Indonesia is entering an era that is all digital and uses technology in all fields of activity. The internet has a lot to do with their behavior or character. Millennials are the nation's next generation. The emergence of the digital era caused by globalization has made the millennial generation less appreciative and practicing the values ​​of Pancasila. In this case, character education is something that must be applied to the millennial generation. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the characteristics of the millennial generation, the role of character education in realizing the values ​​of Pancasila in the daily life of the millennial generation, how to cultivate an attitude of patriotism and nationalism towards the nation by practicing Pancasila, and provide motivation for the millennial generation to realize these values. Pancasila values. Methods: This study uses a literature review method. The search for journals was carried out using the google scholar database with the keywords &ldquo;Character Education&rdquo;, &ldquo;millenial generation&rdquo;, and &ldquo;Pancasila&rdquo;. The journals selected are journals from 2019 to 2020. Results: By applying character education to the millennial generation, it will make it easier for them to practice the values ​​of Pancasila. Pancasila should be the way of life of the millennial generation. Recommendation and limitation: As millennials, we must protect the country from values ​​that are contrary to Pancasila. Character education must be applied following the nature of the millennial generation itself. Of course, the applied character education must prioritize and be based on the values ​​of Pancasila as well.

Abstract   This paper explores how parenting patterns in shaping children's character in the digital era with the perspective of the Qur'an. This is interesting because there is not much literature that discusses this theme in the view of the Qur'an. In today's digital era, almost everyone depends on gadgets, and children are no exception. This era is an era where there is a market for positive and negative things on social media. The spread of hoaxes, hate speech, and radicalism, for example, can be known through social media. This is a challenge that has the potential to affect the character of children who will become the nation's next generation, who should be given proper care so that good character is formed from an early age. Character building from an early age depends much on parenting patterns, because they are the first educators. In addition, the material given to children is also a determining factor in shaping children's character. Talking about parenting patterns in shaping children's character, it turns out that the Al-Qur'an has provided an overview in several letters, which tell how the ideal parenting patterns are carried out by parents towards their children.   Keywords: parenting patterns, character, digital era, Al-Qur'an.   Abstrak   Tulisan ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana pola pengasuhan orang tua dalam pembentukan karakter anak di era digital perpsektif al-Qur`an. Ini menjadi menarik karena tidak banyak ditemukan literatur yang membahas tema tersebut dalam pandangan al-Qur`an. Di era digital sekarang ini, hampir setiap orang bergantung pada gadget, tidak terkecuali anak-anak. Era ini adalah era di mana terjadinya pasar hal-hal positif dan negatif di media sosial. Penyebaran hoax, ujaran kebencian, dan paham radikalisme misalnya, dapat diketahui melalui media sosial. Hal ini merupakan tantangan yang berpotensi mempengaruhi karakter anak-anak yang akan menjadi generasi penerus bangsa, yang seharusnya diberikan pengasuhan yang tepat agar terbentuk karakter yang baik sejak usia dini. Pembentukan karakter sejak usia dini sangat tergantung pada pola pengasuhan orang tua, karena merupakan pendidik pertama. Selain itu materi yang diberikan kepada anak juga menjadi faktor penentu dalam pembentukan karakter anak. Berbicara tentang pola pengasuhan orang tua dalam pembentukan karakter anak, ternyata al-Qur`an telah memberikan gambaran dalam beberapa surat, yang mengisahkan bagaimana pola pengasuhan ideal yang dilakukan orang tua terhadap anaknya.   Kata Kunci: Pola pengasuhan, Karakter, Era digital, al-Qur`an.

Character building is an integral part of the main objective of education. Not only related to the development of scientific insights, but Islamic education is also oriented to the formation of morals (character). In Indonesia, the educational figure Ki Hajar Dewantara has a unique perspective on education and its strategy in shaping students' character. In this research, several problem formulations are proposed, including 1) what is the method of character building according to Ki Hajar Dewantara ?, 2) How is the character-building method in Islamic education? This type of research is research (Library Research), which takes library materials that have something to do with the problem under study. This research concludes that character education, according to Ki Hajar Dewantara consists of among, ngemong and among as well as ngerti, ngrasa and nglakoni. Meanwhile, its relevance to Islamic education is the concept of character building Ki Hajar combining morality, intellect and spirituality, the three of which are circularly applicable in the concept of Islamic faith, which is not only limited to believing and understanding, but also implementing it in everyday life

ABSTRAK   Pendidikan karakter harus dimulai sejak dini. Karena anak-anak adalah generasi penerus bangsa. Pembentukan karakter sejak usia dini sangat mempengaruhi karakter masa depan bangsa ini. Membangun karakter akan tumbuh dengan baik, jika dalam proses pertumbuhan mereka mendapat perhatian dan bimbingan dari orang tua dan sekolah. Mengelola karakter anak-anak tidak cukup hanya melalui pembelajaran di kelas, tetapi sekolah harus menerapkan sebuah pembelajaran melalui pembiasaan atau budaya sekolah. Kegiatan pembiasaan yang dilakukan oleh Madrasah Tebas Parit Jawai, Kabupaten Sambas bukan hanya memberikan perintah, tetapi guru memberikan contoh praktis secara langsung  kepada anak-anak   Kata Kunci : Manajemen, Karakter, Anak.   ABSTRACT   Character education must begin early. Because children are the future generation of the nation. Formation of characters from an early age greatly influences the future character of this nation. Parents have a very important role and function in children's character building. In the family, parents are madrasatul or school first and foremost for children, therefore, parents reinforcement must be able to provide character education for their cihildren at home. The intensity of communication and held face to face is sufficient in order to allow socialization and strengthen character values, morals, and other good behavior can be internalized in children through habitual in everyday life at home.

This study aims to describe the value of character education contained in seluma folklore. This research data is folklore obtained from the recording and written documentation.in this research used descriptive analysis method. Data collection techniques used are recoding technique record. The result showed that the values of character education contained in the folklore of seluma is very good to form human character from an early age. The value of character education contained in seluma folklore is the value of education that is very close to everyday life so it is suitable to implanted in self. In seluma folklore especially in fairy tales and legends of character  education values contained in fairy tales and legends that is, the value of courage, mutual need, self-discipline, self-respect, faimess, caring, protecting each other, and respect others, the attitude of deliberation, and the attitude of cooperation.
