Urgency of the research. High-precision and productive machining of the ends of the rollers of the roller bearings is an urgent and important scientific and practical task, the solution of which will allow both to prolong the life of the bearings and to reduce their production, and therefore to increase the level of competitiveness of production. Target setting. The main requirements relating to the rollers of the rolling bearings are to ensure the high accuracy of size, shape, quality of end surfaces with high productivity of the machining process. Actual scientific researches and issues analysis. The main directions of improving the accuracy and productivity of two-sided grinding are to increase the rigidity of the machine-tool-tool-part system, to reduce the thermal impact, to improve the kinematic characteristics of the workpiece movement in the treatment area, to optimize the design and characteristics of grinding wheels. Uninvestigated parts of general matters defining. One of the most promising areas for improving the accuracy and productivity of the double-sided grinding process is to use the effect of crossing axes of grinding wheels and billets with special tool profiling. The purpose of the article. To analyze the factors that affect the accuracy and productivity of machining the end surfaces of parts on two-sided grinding machines and to develop a new high-performance method of processing the end surfaces of the rollers of the roller bearings, which would provide the possibility of assembly between the rolling bodies and the rings, not by a selective method. The presentation of the main material. The combined editing of the two planes of grinding wheels on two-sided grinding machines enables to obtain a larger diameter of the calibration section. In this case, the entire allowance is cut off in the area adjacent to the gauge. The calibration section at the inlet of the parts in the treatment area does not participate in cutting off the seam allowance, has high stability and at the outlet forms the final accuracy of the end surfaces. Conclusions and suggestions. The paper proposes a new high-performance method of single-pass machining of the end surfaces of the rollers of the roller bearings on two-sided grinding machines with oriented grinding wheels, which have a calibration section, which ensures high accuracy of processing. This method allows to reduce the scattering range of sizes and to go to the method of complete interchangeability when assembling the bearing units.

Grinding is a vital method in machining techniques and an effective way to process materials such as hardened steels and silicon wafers. However, as the running time increases, the unbalance of grinding wheels produce a severe vibration and noise of grinding machines because of the uneven shedding of abrasive particles and the uneven adsorption of coolant, which has a severe and direct impact on the accuracy and quality of parts. Online balancing is an important and necessary technique to reduce the unbalance causing by these factors and adjust the time-varying balance condition of the grinding wheel. A new active online balancing method using liquid injection and free dripping is proposed in this paper. The proposed online balancing method possesses a continuous balancing ability and the problem of losing balancing ability for the active online balancing method using liquid injection is solved effectively because some chambers are full of liquid. The residual liquid contained in the balancing chambers is utilized as a compensation mass for reducing rotor unbalance, where the rotor phase is proposed herein as a target for determining the machine unbalance. A new balancing device with a controllable injection and free dripping structure is successfully designed. The relationship between the mass of liquid in the balancing chamber and the centrifugal force produced by liquid is identified. The performance of the proposed method is verified by the balancing experiments and the results of these experiments show that the vibration of unbalance response is reduced by 87.3% at 2700 r/min.

This research paper focuses on grinding of materials used for tools (100Cr6 (CSN 4 14109), X210Cr12 ( CSN 4 19436) and epoxy resin) using grinding wheels from cubic boron nitride and diamond. The disadvantage of grinding of difficult-to-machine materials is higher wear of grinding wheels. The modern grinding wheels are able to achieve high accuracy of dimensions and high surface quality with a smaller wear of grinding wheels then grinding wheels from conventional materials. Correctly selected technological conditions are one of the most important matters to achieve the required surface quality. The main aim of this research is to determine the influence of technological conditions to quality of surface after planar grinding. The research determines the influence of the grain type of grinding wheels, feed rate and cutting depth on the quality of functional surfaces.

Object classification with use of neural networks is extremely current today. YOLO is one of the most often used frameworks for object classification. It produces high accuracy but the processing speed is not high enough especially in conditions of limited performance of a computer. This article researches use of a framework called NVIDIA TensorRT to optimize YOLO with the aim of increasing the image processing speed. Saving efficiency and quality of the neural network work TensorRT allows us to increase the processing speed using an optimization of the architecture and an optimization of calculations on a GPU.

We present the fabrication and optical testing of a fine grating on a ZnS substrate to be used as a wideband infrared spectral disperser and for which the primary application is measurement of the composition of the atmospheres of transiting exoplanets using space-borne infrared astronomical telescopes. A grating with a blaze angle of 2.1 deg. and pitch of 166.667 μm was constructed on a roughly flat 10 mm × 10 mm substrate with a maximum thickness of 1 mm. To obtain high accuracy, the sample was fabricated on a ZnS monocrystal using a high performance processing machine at Canon Inc. The surface roughness measured with a microscope interferometer was 2.6 nm rms. The shape of the fabricated grating edges was examined with a scanning electron microscope. The diffraction efficiency was evaluated by optical experiments at λ = 633 nm, 980 nm, and 1550 nm, and compared with the efficiencies calculated using a Fourier Modal Method. The results showed that the differences between the diffraction efficiencies obtained from experiment and by calculation were between just 0.9 % and 2.4 %. We concluded that the quality of the fabricated ZnS grating was sufficiently high to provide excellent diffraction efficiency for use in the infrared wavelength region. We also present the design of a spectral disperser in CdTe for future more advanced performance.

Generally, aspheric surfaces require extra high accuracy and roughness and need to be polished further after being shaped. Because the interaction between tool and work-piece in polishing process is compliant, rather than the kind of rigid cutting, the machining quality and machining process are closely allied to the physical properties of the work-piece material. A new three-degree-of-freedom hybrid position/force servo polishing system, which is based on universal CNC Lathe, is developed, and the effect of work-piece materials on the polishing process and processing quality of aspheric surfaces is studied after aspheric parts are compliantly polished in accordance with the Preston removal regulation in this paper.

The quality of the surfaces of roller bearing parts is formed in the process of interaction of the cutting tool with the surfaces to be treated. In addition to technological factors, a significant place in providing a quality surface layer is occupied by the correct choice of grinding wheels. The abrasive tool has different properties depending on its characteristics. When choosing an abrasive tool, it is necessary to take into account its characteristics and their suitability for a particular type of work. Stable operation of abrasive wheels depends on the correct choice of their size, characteristics and modes of operation. The selection of grinding wheels depends on the type and properties of machined materials, power of grinding machines, spindle speed, grinding mode, requirements for accuracy and surface cleanliness and other factors that apply to the workpieces. Depending on the accuracy requirements for machining parts made of different materials, the characteristics of abrasive wheels are selected, the main of which are hardness, grain size, bond, structure, shape, size and allowable speed.

ABSTRACT Super sweet corn hybrids shall present production and quality traits in order to meet farmer’s, industry and consumer’s expectations. The aim of this study was to select experimental super sweet corn hybrids based on the Z index (I Z ). We evaluated 64 experimental hybrids from crosses between inbred lines of different groups along with two check hybrids. The experiments were carried out in Guarapuava-PR in two sowing seasons in 2016. The evaluated traits were male flowering, ear length, ear diameter, soluble solids content, husked ear yield, unhusked ear yield, and grain yield. The traits which most contributed to the Z index were related to ear and grain yields and soluble solids content. The first sowing season was the most favorable for the expression of yield related traits. The experimental hybrid D3-30 x D5-46 showed high performance in both sowing seasons and the hybrid D2-17 x D5-46 stood out in the second sowing season, being both promising, showing high productivity and quality of ear, considering the Z index.

Introduction.Coccygodynia is a multidisciplinary disease which is diffi cult to treat. It seriously limits the ability to work and signifi cantly affects the quality of life of patients. The study of somatic dysfunctions in patients with coccygodynia and the analysis of the results of osteopathic treatment of such patients makes it possible to justify the necessity of osteopathic correction of coccygodynia.Goal of the study— to determine the structure of the leading somatic dysfunctions in patients with coccygodynia and to study the effectiveness of osteopathic treatment of this pathology.Materials and methods.The study involved 44 patients from 25 to 65 years old, randomly divided into two groups. The main group of 24 people (20 women and 4 men) received osteopathic treatment, in accordance with the identifi ed leading somatic dysfunctions. Patients of the control group (16 women and 4 men) were treated locally with soft manual techniques (the treatment area was limited by the pelvic region). In order to assess the results of the treatment, we examined the intensity of the pain syndrome and the psycho-emotional state of patients. The severity of the pain syndrome was assessed in accordance with the visual analogue scale (VAS). The psycho-emotional state (with physical and mental components) was assessed with the help of the SF-36 quality of life questionnaire.Results.Somatic dysfunctions typical for patients with coccygodynia have been identifi ed. Osteopathic treatment has proven to be more effective in comparison with local manual therapy of coccygodynia both in early periods and in 3 months after the end of the treatment course.Conclusion.Osteopathic treatment of post-traumatic coccygodynia is effective, and can be recommended for treatment of such patients.

Tindak tutur komisif merupakan salah satu aspek pragmatik yang harus diperhatikan oleh penerjemah ketika menerjemahkan teks. Hal itu dilakukan agar menghasilkan terjemahan yang berkualitas dari aspek keakuratan dan keberterimaan. Berdasarkan alasan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan mendiskripsikan tingkat keakuratan dan keberterimaan terjemahan kalimat yang mengakomodasi tindak tutur komisif dengan pendekatan pragmatik. Data yang digunakan ialah tuturan komisif dan hasil penilaian kualitas terjemahan. Data bersumber dari novel Insurgent karya Veronica Roth dan informan. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara analisis dokumen, kuesioner dan Focus Group Discussion. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis dengan cara analisis domain, taksonomi, komponensial, dan tema budaya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjemahan dalam novel Insurgent mempunyai nilai keakuratan dan keberterimaan yang cukup tinggi. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat keakuratan dan keberterimaan pada setiap jenis tindak tutur komisif memiliki dampak terhadap kualitas keseluruhan terjemahan kalimat yang mengandung tindak tutur komisif.Commissive speech act is one of the pragmatic aspects to regard by the translator in translating the text. It aims to produce a qualified translation in regarding accuracy and acceptability aspects. According to the aspects, this research aims to describe accuracy and acceptability of translation in sentences which accommodate commissive speech act using pragmatic approach. The data used is commissive speech and qualitative translation value result. The sources of the data are an Insurgent novel by Veronica Roth and informants. The data were collected through document analysis, questionnaire, and Focus Group Discussion then analyzed the domain, taxonomic, componential analysis, and cultural theme. The result shows that translation in the Insurgent novel has high accuracy and acceptability values. This research concludes that the accuracy and acceptability level in each commissive speech act has an impact on quality of whole translated sentences which contain commissive speech act.
