The present study aims to determine the status of Mental Health and Aggression among Smart phone users and non user college students. The sample consists of 100 subjects 50 male and 50 female college going students. Total samples selected in the age range of 20 to 25 who are living in urban area. Standardized psychological test (Mental health and aggression) was used for data collection. After doing this, the scoring data was treated as a mean, SD, t test.

Urban poverty is one of multidimensional issue in Nepal. Increasing immigration from the outer parts of Kathmandu due to rural poverty, unemployment and weak security of the lives and the properties are core causes pushing people into urban areas. In this context how squatter urban area people sustain their livelihoods is major concern. The objectives of the study are to find out livelihood assets and capacities squatters coping with their livelihood vulnerability in adverse situation. Both qualitative and quantitative methods are applied for data collection. It is found that squatters social security is weak, victimized by severe health problems earning is not regular with lack of physical facilities and overall livelihood is critical. This study helps to understand what the changes that have occurred in livelihood patterns and how poor people survive in urban area.

Using such methods as questionnaire survey and experimental study, a study has been made on the effects of yoga on female college students’ body shape, the quality of physical function, mental health and so on. Methods: The study sampled 25 2009 female students in Handan College who have selected the yoga course. These students will do yoga practice for 6 months. The body shape, body function and mental health will be tested before and after the exercise. The results show that: such four indicators as body weight, waist circumference, thigh circumference and upper arm circumference; such 6 indicators as vital capacity, heart rate, VO2, sit-ups, step test, and Sit and Reach and such indicators as mental health self-assessment questionnaire (SCL--90), self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), and self-rating depression scale (SDS) have been improved significantly compared to those before practice. Conclusion: Through yoga practice, female college students can improve their physical health, balance physical and mental condition, and relieve stress, enhancing the quality of physical function and mental health.

The present study tries to find out the effect of speaking self-efficacy and gender in speaking activities particularly in English as second/foreign language situation, using questionnaire from Bandura’s Guide for constructing self-efficacy scales. The Samples of this study were 23 male and 27 female college-students from speaking classes.  ANOVA and T-test helped by SPSS 15.0 for windows were employed to investigate speaking self-efficacy, gender and speaking activities. The result showed that the level of speaking self-efficacy both male and female students is moderate. They can moderately perform speaking activities but they think them quite though and difficult. Besides, Sig. for gender scores lower than .05 (.013 < .05), gender gave significant effect towards speaking activities. Yet, not only speaking self-efficacy partially (Sig .162 > .05) but also its simultaneous interaction with gender (Sig .0677 > .05) did not affect significantly towards speaking activities.

The study was conducted to assess the status of mental health and marital adjustment of the working and non working women. The random sample consisted of 30 working women and 30 non working women selected. Mental Health Inventory by Dr. A.K. Shreevastav and Dr. Jagdish and marital adjustment inventory by P. Kumar and K. Rohatgi. Here t’ test was applied to check the significance of mental health and marital adjustment in working and non working women. The result shows that there is a significant difference between working and non working women in mental health and marital adjustment so the Hypothesis is not accepted.

Objectives: Taking female college students and non-PE majors in a women’s college as experimental research objects, this paper compares and analyzes the influence of different dimensions of mental health level, and discusses the interaction and relationship between different physical exercises and female college students’ mental health level. Methods: The research was conducted in the form of experiment, and the female college students were randomly divided into three different exercise groups, namely aerobics group, basketball group and table tennis group. The three project groups were carried out under the conditions of basically the same exercise intensity, the same exercise time and the same number of exercises per week. Results: The research shows that the level of mental health changes in different degrees before and after the experiment. After the experiment, aerobics, basketball and table tennis have different influences on the dimension of mental health of female college students. Conclusion: This study suggests that female college students who have no habit of physical exercise should be encouraged to take part in physical exercise, and those who have already taken part in physical exercise should be encouraged to persevere and participate in sports group events properly, so as to improve social adaptability and promote their own healthy development.

The main purpose of this study was to examine situations of human trafficking with particular reference to South Wollo zone, Amhara regional state. Crosse sectional research design was applied and 40 Participants were took part in the study using availability sampling technique .This means those who were available at agar Ethiopia refugee’s camp during the time of data collection were inculcated into the study. The required data was collected through questionnaire and interview and then data was analyzed by using both quantitative methods such as one sample t-test and percentage as well as qualitative methods like thematic analysis. The finding of this study in on one sample t- test revealed that, the status of human trafficking, in the sample zone is high; there is increment of migration of Amhara dwellers from their native area to Areb countries. The root causes for the outbreak of human trafficking is linked with economic reason, be fool of brokers, inappropriate contestation among parents who live in the same geographical area. In line with the consequences of human trafficking, the trafficked have encountered different challenges such as exploitation of money for brokers, rape by brokers as well as paymasters as well their relatives and assassination too. Among these, rape is the most common one that the majority of trafficked are faced.

Mental Health plays a very significant role to decide the quality of life. In the present competitive scenario students feel stress and face mental illness which is becoming very severe with time. In present investigation effort has been made to ascertain the effect of Social Support and Socioeconomic Status on Mental health in College Students. A 2×3 factorial design was employed. The two factors studied were: Social Support (varied at two level high and low) and socioeconomic status (varied at three level high, middle & low). There were six cells with 30 subjects in each cell (total sample consisted of 180 subjects and age range 18-22 years). Measurement of Mental Health was furnished through Mental Health Battery developed by Arun Kumar Singh & Alpnana Sen Gupta. Social Support and Socioeconomic status was also collected by a self-made questionnaire. Result: Result of ANOVA show the main effect of Social support and Socioeconomic Status were found significant (p<.01) on total mental health scores.
