<p>This research is a qualitative descriptive study conducted in class XI. The research subjects consisted of one masculine male student and one feminine female student. The research instrument used a Gender Test, Interview Guidelines and Problem Solving Tasks (TPM). The data collection technique used in this research was the problem solving task-based interview technique. The technique of testing the validity of the data used time triangulation. The data analysis technique used was reduction, presentation, and conclusion. Based on the data analysis that has been done, the following conclusions are obtained. The profile of understanding the concept of masculine male students in solving linear programming problems includes: writing what is known and what is asked which is emphasized by the presence of a question mark "?", Taking x and y without being interpreted on a graph using the two equations to find the points ( x, y), finds the arithmetic error from substituting the points (x, y) that have been determined by yourself to the objective function, and reread the results of the work without recalculation. The profile of understanding the concept of feminine female students in solving linear program problems includes: writing down what is known and what is asked by considering x and y, forming equations using the x and y assumptions and interpreting it into a graph, substituting the points (x, y) has assigned itself to the objective function so that the results of problem solving are obtained, and re-read the results of their work by recalculating.</p>

This study aims to determine the steps to implement the Make a Match learning model and improve learning result sains through the application of the Make a Match learning model to Grade IV students of Kutowinangun State Elementary School 04 Salatiga. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with research subjects in 4th grade students of Kutowinangun State Elementary School 04 Salatiga consisting of 13 male students and 15 female students. The data collection technique used is test. The procedure of action research consists of two cycles. Each cycle through four stages of research includes: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data analysis technique used was quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive. The percentage of completeness of learning result showed that in pre-action as many as 4 students completed (14%), increased to 16 students completed (57%) in the first cycle, and increased to 26 students completed (93%) in second cycle. From this data it can be conclude through the application of the Make a Match learning model can improve the learning resulth sains of 4th grade students of Kutowinangun State Elementary School 04 Salatiga.

This study aims to describe and analyze the mathematical reasoning and problem solving abilities of PGSD students, Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan, based on the gender in resolving story problems. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The research subjects were 6 PGSD students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Lamongan who were selected based on the criteria of academic abilities; students with high reasoning, moderate reasoning, and low reasoning. The data collection techniques were observation, test, and interview. The data analysis was based on the results of test, observation, and interview obtained by students and based on table rubrics. Data analysis was carried out by the researcher using 6 subjects as representatives consisting of 3 males and 3 females with criteria previously mentioned (high, moderate, low). The results of data analysis on mathematical reasoning and problem solving abilities based on gender were female students' mathematical reasoning abilities were superior than male students' mathematical reasoning abilities. The aims of this study are to analyze and describe the metacognition of students who have high, moderate, and low Self-Regulated Learning (SLR) in solving Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) type problem. The research method that used was qualitative, research subjects were taken from students who can provide information about the results of their work to obtain complete data and stop when there was no information that can be extracted (saturated data), then obtained 6 people consisting of students who have high, medium, low SLR. The Data collection technique used was the think-aloud method. The data analysis technique used in this study was a model from Miles and Huberman. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that: the metacognition of students with high SLR used metacognition in the indicators to compose strategies and monitor actions to the maximum while at the evaluation stage they had not been able to mention other alternatives to solve the problem, the metacognition of students with medium SLR used metacognition to the maximum in the indicators of the stage of compiling strategies but at the monitoring actions they had not been able to interpret the results of the answers and at the stage of evaluation they had not been able to mention other alternatives to solve the problem, the metacognition of students with low SLR had not been able to use metacognition to the maximum. Teachers must pay attention to students' self-regulated learning and metacognition in solving HOTS problems.

Seeing the differences in the results of several previous studies on metacognitive abilities in problem solving, researchers are interested in examining students' metacognitive abilities in problem solving in terms of gender differences. This problem is important to study because it aims to determine the implementation of the metacognitive abilities of male and female students in problem solvingThe purpose of this study was to determine the metacognitive ability of male and female students in problem solving using TIMSS questions at SMP Al-Falah Pesanggrahan Jangkar for the 2020/2021 academic year. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were one male student and one female student from class VII SMP AL-Falah Pesanggrahan who had the same mathematical ability. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, mathematical ability tests and TIMSS questions. Data analysis in this study was analyzed on each data collection technique. The results of data analysis showed that there was no difference in metacognitive ability in problem solving between male and female students. The metacognitive abilities of male and female students have been used well in problem solving. Both of them can explain their thinking process in every stage of problem solving.   Keywords: Metacognition Ability, Problem solving, TIMSS questions, Mathematical Ability, Gender Difference.

AbstrakKemampuan pemecahan masalah tidak lepas dari kegiatan belajar mengajar pada umumnya karena keberhasilan seseorang terhadap sesuatu yang dihadapi tidak lepas dari matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik kelas IX di SMP Negeri 15 Palembang. Sampel pada penelitian ini di ambil secara acak yaitu peserta didik kelas IX.1 berjumlah 31 peserta didik yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri 15 Palembang tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan soal tes berbentuk uraian materi bangun ruang (kubus dan balok). Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Dari hasil analisis data dan pembahasan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik dikategorikan rendah.  Analysis of Mathematical Problem-Solving Ability on Cubes and Blocks in Junior High SchoolAbstractThe ability to solve problems cannot be separated from teaching and learning activities in general because one's success in something that is faced cannot be separated from mathematics. This study aims to determine the mathematical Problem-solving abilities of grade IX students at SMP Negeri 15 Palembang. The sample in this study was taken randomly. namely students of class IX.1, totaling 31 students which were conducted at SMP Negeri 15 Palembang for the 2019/2020 academic year. The data collection technique used test questions in the form of a description of the material (cubes and cuboids). The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive quantitative. From the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the students' mathematical Problem-solving ability is categorized as low.

This study aims to determine the type of gharar practiced in cooperation between Small and medium industry exporters of furniture to the furniture in Jepara district.This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study strategy.Determinating techniques for informants in this study using snowball sampling. Data collected through interviews with research subjects and direct observation of the research object. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis by using the method of data analysis and describes the results of interviews and direct observation.The results of this study indicate that gharar is practiced in the cooperation between the Small and medium industry with the company exporting furniture is unclear at the end of the time limit on credit payments by companies exporting furniture to the Small and medium industry as suppliers of goods to the company.

ABSTRACTPoliteness among students begin to decline, phenomenon occured in schools many students who do not understand the behavior of courtesy in relationships in the school environment. Therefore, guidance and counseling services are expected to overcome this phenomenon. This research intend to find out and analyze the effect of sociodrama method on students manners. The type of research is experimental research with research subjects totaling 15 students. Data collection technique uses courtesy scale, observation, interview and documentation. In addition, data analysis technique uses paired samples test (T-test). The results of data analysis obtained from the average pretest score is 138,40 while the average posttest score is 143,67. Based on these data show that there is an average increase of -5,267. Correlation value obtained from paired samples test (T-test) is 0,915 with significant 0,000. T-count Value is -3,088 with sig. (2-tailed) value is 0,008. T-count (-3,008) ≥ t-table (2,145) and sig. (2-tailed) value is 0,008 ≤ 0,05. These data mean that Ha in this research is accepted and Ho is rejected so that there are different an average manners before and after treatment (sociodrama method). Thereby, sociodrama method influences the behavior of student’s manners MAN 3 Bantul.Keywords: Sociodrama Method, The Behavior of Courtesy

Problem solving is a way which will be conducted someone by employing acquired skills, knowledge, and understanding in order to solve certain problem. Problem solving stages which attained in this research is according to Polya which encompasses comprehending problem, arranging plan completion, and rechecking the result. Mathematics concept understanding is required in order to solve the problem. SOLO Taxonomy classifies the subject’s ability of solving problem into five different level, prestructural, unistructural, multistructural, relational, and extended abstract. The aim of this research is to describe geometry problem solving of visualization, analysis and informal deduction according to SOLO Taxonomy. Additionally, qualitative descriptive method is used to analyze the data. Subjects of this research are subjects who possess high mathematics thinking ability of visualization geometry, analysis and informal deduction. Besides, the type of data collection technique uses problem solving geometry test and interview. According to the result of research, subjects who possess in visualization geometry thinking level to solve the problem tend to use the aspect of unistructural level of SOLO Taxonomy. Then, subjects with analysis geometry thinking level to solve the problem mostly use multistructurallevel of SOLO Taxonomy. Lastly, subjects who own informal deduction geometry thinking level to solve the problem apparently use relational level of SOLO Taxonomy.

This study aims to describe "The cultivation of values of Concern on Environmental Hygiene in Students Class III A At the Elementary School of Nature Mahira Bengkulu City". This type of research is using qualitative and qualitative descriptive research method. Research subjects were principal, grade III A teacher, janitor, canteen mother, and third grade student A. Data collection technique used was observation, interview, and documentation. The analysis technique is carried out during field analysis and post-field analysis by examining all data collected in narrative. The data that have been obtained is analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The data credibility test is done through increasing persistence and triangulation of sources and techniques. The results obtained are: a) The strategy of cultivating the values of caring is done by habituation, exemplary and menjarkan about cleanliness; b) Program activities are: clean culture, clean saturation program, class cleanliness, school environment cleanliness, and waste management; c) Facilities and infrastructure; d) School community support: principals, janitors, and canteen mothers.

<p>This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The research subjects consisted of female students with introverted personality and female students with extrovert personality. The instruments used in this study consisted of a personality test instrument, interview guidelines, and problem solving tasks (TPM). Data collection was carried out by means of contextual problem solving task-based interviews. The data validity test was conducted by means of time triangulation. The data analysis used refers to the 3 flows of data analysis from Milles &amp; Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study can be concluded as follows. Introverted students mentioned all the information contained in the questions correctly in a halting voice, while extrovert students mentioned all the information contained in the questions correctly and smoothly. The two students solved the questions in two ways even though the methods used were routine procedures that were commonly used by students. In re-examining the results obtained, the two students matched the results obtained with the steps in one method with another method.<strong></strong></p>
