The use of interactive multimedia has the potential to create a high-quality learning environment. The key elements of various media, user control over information delivery and interactivity can be used to improve the learning process by creating an integrated learning environment. This study aims to determine the increase in students’ attention, relevance, confidence and satisfaction (ARCS) before and after using interactive science learning multimedia. This study collected data from 30 students aged 12–13 years from a junior high school in Yogyakarta City, Indonesia. Data collection was done using learning motivation questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used paired sample t-test. The results of this study are that the learning motivation aspects of ARCS after using interactive science learning multimedia have increased significantly. However, the relevance aspect of students’ learning motivation did not increase significantly.

Quality learning processes involve many things, one of which is the method or model applied by the teacher. If a teacher conveys varied and stimulating learning, students will be more interested in listening to the material presented. Conversely, if the teacher only teaches with conventional methods, namely lectures, students will be bored and not interested in listening to the material being taught. In this case the role of the learning method is very important to increase students' learning motivation, especially in the XI IPA class students.Assulaimaniyah whose application of learning is still a conventional method. They need varied learning not monotonous in order to support maximum learning outcomes, as well as the Application of SAVI Learning Methods to Increase Learning Motivation Sisawa Class XI Science MA.Assulaimaniyah Mojoagung Jombang. Based on this background, this study aims to conduct and determine the application of SAVI learning methods to improve student learning motivation when applied in the XI IPA MA class. Assulaimaniyah. Type of qualitative research with methods of collecting data on observation, interviews, documentation and library data. Data Analysis Techniques Data collection as well as data reduction, data presentation, verification and conclusions. The results showed that when the application of the SAVI method was applied, students who were previously lacking in enthusiasm in receiving learning were more enthusiastic and active in participating in these varied learning methods, so students could learn more optimally in learning. Supporting factors, positive support and encouragement from homeroom teacher and researcher motivation. Inhibiting factors Factors of oneself, such as lack of enthusiasm and enthusiasm that arise from themselves

This study investigates a proposal to relocate a secondary school in Taiwan because of political and urbanization forces. This important issue has received little attention in the educational literature. Interviews, a focus group, and surveys were used to collect the views of parents, students, teachers, administrators, and local influential people. Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis was adopted to evaluate the possibility of school relocation. The results showed that teachers were less likely to agree to relocate, whereas policymakers supported the move. The principal, many students, and their parents would agree to relocate if the new site offered a high-quality learning environment.

ABSTRACT   Parents are the most influential figure in the life of every child. Parental involvement in the learning process can also affect the process of life is huge in children. In addition, the teachers and the learning environment in schools can also influence the motivation to learn so that students can master the student's mastery of concepts in science lessons in schools, especially physics known as a difficult subject among junior high school students. Therefore teachers and learning environments should be supportive atmosphere so that students more motivated to follow the lessons of Natural Sciences. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student motivation by using STEM-based science learning. This study uses a quantitative research with the participation of as many as 28 students of class VIII-5 on one of the Junior High School in Bandung. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire on aspects of learning motivation Need for Achievement, Need for Power aspects, and aspects of the Need for Affiliation. The results showed that the students' motivation to learn the most improved there on aspects Need for Power showed an increase by a margin of 3.53 and an average pretest and posttest of 0.89. It can be concluded that the application of STEM-based science learning can increase students' motivation. Solutions to increase learning motivation towards science subjects can use based learning Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).  Keywords: Motivation; STEM.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan penerapan Poseidon Meeting Classroom berbasis pendekatan ilmiah, ada tidaknya perbedaan prestasi belajar peserta didik yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan penerapan Poseidon Meeting Classroom berbasis pendekatan ilmiah. Penelitian didesain sebagai penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan satu faktor dan dua variabel. Satu faktor berupa media pembelajaran, dua variabel yaitu motivasi belajar dan prestasi belajar. Sampel penelitian ini merupakan peserta didik kelas X MIPA 7 SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta yang diberi perlakuan penerapan Poseidon Meeting Classroom. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik dokumentasi dan angket. Data mengenai motivasi dan prestasi belajar dianalisis menggunakan uji-t sama subjek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan motivasi belajar peserta didik yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan penerapan Poseidon Meeting Classroom berbasis pendekatan ilmiah, adanya perbedaan prestasi belajar peserta didik yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan penerapan Poseidon Meeting Classroom berbasis pendekatan ilmiah. This research was designed as an experimental research with one factor and two variables. The factor is learning media and the variables are learning motivation and achievement learning. The samples of this research are students in X MIPA 7 of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 the was a treatment of the application of scientific approach based Poseidon Meeting Classroom. The data collection technique was done with documentation and questionnaire techniques. The data about motivation and learning achievement were analyzed by using paired sample t-test. The result of this research showed that there was significant difference of learning motivation before and after taught using scientific approach based Poseidon Meeting Classroom, there was significant difference of learning achievement before and after taught using scientific approach based Poseidon Meeting Classroom. The problem in this study is the low motivation to learn social science in students class VIII. Those are based on the observation that teachers have not applied varied learning models and tend to use conventional learning method. Learning activities have not actively involved students and many tudents feel bored in social science learning. Teachers need to overcome these problems by applying creative learning model, fun and can foster students' learning motivation, one of them is cooperative learning model of make a match technique. This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning model of make a match technique to the motivation of social science learning in students class VIII SMP Negeri 40 Bandung. The design of this study uses Nonequivalent Control Group Design with quasi experimental research method. The samples of this study are 60 students and using 2 classes,namely class VIII D as experiment class and class VIII C as control class. Data were analyzed by using SPSS 17.00 for windows.  The results showed that: First, the learning motivation of students before and after implementing cooperative learning model of make a match technique increased but still low category. Second, the students' learning motivation before and after implementing conventional method did not increase. Third, simultaneously learning motivation between students who learn with cooperative learning model of make a match technique is better than students who learn with conventional learning method.

The purpose of this study is to find out that problem-solving techniques can reduce academic procrastination behaviour towards students of class X The population in this study were all students of class X IIS 3 of SMAN-1 Palangka Raya. The number of initial research samples consisted of 8 and finally only seven students. Sampling is determined by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and the scale of procrastination behaviour. The method used is pre-experiment, data analysis techniques using Paired Sample T-Test or better known as Pre-Post Design is an analysis involving two measurements on the same subject to a particular influence or treatment. Based on the results of the study and discussion above, it can be concluded that the problem-solving technique can reduce the behaviour of academic procrastination of students in Class X of IIS-3 of SMAN-1 Palangka Raya. This is based on the results of the Paired-Sample T-Test, obtained t count = 6.264 can be concluded that there are differences in the level of procrastination before and after treatment. Procrastination behaviour has decreased from the initial average of 147.78 to 164.78. It means "Problem-solving techniques can reduce the expression of academic procrastination. Class X IIS-3 students at SMAN-1 Palangka Raya

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the use of modelling techniques for student learning independence of 7th grade of Junior High School 2 Kauman. In this research, the researcher will uses quantitative approach with the experiment type and use Non-Equivalent Control Groub Design. Subject in this research, the researcher use 7th grade of Junior High School. Data Collecting Method uses interview, observation, and measuring scale, while the research instrument used by researcher is learning independence scale and modelling technique book. Than for data analiysis uses t-test like independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test, that before that there is base assumption test use normality test and homogenity test. The results of this study indicate that there are different average from student pre-test and post-test from experiment class. And that know from paired sample t-test score from 2-tailed value 0,001< 0,05. Than data from independent sample t-test with thw sig 2-tailed value 0,000 < 0,05 so that spoken if there are different signifficantly before and after giving treatment with modelling technique to student learning independence for 7th grade of Junior High School 2 Kauman.
