The purpose of the research was to provide a proposed guide for teaching social studies in light of Marzano’s Dimensions of Learning Model. To achieve this goal, a guide was prepared to use the said Model for the Unit of the Arab and Islamic worlds of the social studies course and citizenship pertaining to the second intermediate grade in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the second semester of the year 1440/1441H. The guide was presented to (6) arbitrators specializing in the field of curricula and instruction methods to ensure the correct formulation of goals, and the appropriateness of educational activities with the steps of Marzano’s Dimensions of Learning Model. Based on their opinions, some educational activities were modified, and some language errors were corrected. The arbitrators’ approval of the guide amounted to 98%, and thus the guide was finalized. The researchers recommended training of female teachers on using the Marzano’s Dimensions of Learning Model when teaching social studies, and directing them to utilize the proposed guide to Marzano’s Dimensions of Learning Model when teaching geography.

The problem in this research is the low social studies learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to improve the social studies learning outcomes of the fourth grade students of SDN 006 Sencano Jaya, by applying the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type of cooperative learning model. The hypothesis in this study is that if the cooperative learning model (STAD) is applied, it can improve the social studies learning outcomes of students of SDN 006 Sencano Jaya class. The results showed that the teacher activity in the first cycle of the first meeting showed an average of 70.83%, in the first cycle of the second meeting an average of 83.33%. In the second cycle, the first meeting was 87.50%, in the second cycle the second meeting had an average of 95.83%. Teacher activity in this study increased. Student activity in the first cycle of the first meeting with an average of 58.33% in the first cycle of the second meeting was 70.83%, in the second cycle of the first meeting an average of 75.00% in the second cycle of the second meeting with an average of 91.66%. Student activity in this study also increased. The initial data of social studies learning results showed that only 11 students completed with a percentage of 40.74% who did not complete 16 people or 59.25% of students who obtained a basic score above the minimum completeness criteria standard (KKM). In the UH I who completed 15 people or the percentage of 55.55% who did not complete 12 people with a percentage of 44.41%. At UH II, 24 people or 88.88% who did not complete were only 3 students or with a percentage of 11.11%. Social studies learning outcomes in this study are increasing, so with the application of the Cooperative learning model type Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD).

The research objective was to describe the improvement in social studies learning outcomes of grade V SD Inpres 12/79 Macope students after using the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model. The approach used is a qualitative approach that is descriptive, this type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The focus of research is the social studies learning outcomes of grade V students and the Think Pair Share type of cooperative learning model. The research setting was class V SD Inpres 12/79 Macope. The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis which is carried out by reducing data, presenting data, drawing conclusions, and verification. The results of data analysis indicate that learning using the Think Pair Share type of cooperative learning model can improve social studies results for fifth grade students of SD Inpres 12/79 Macope.

From the beginning of Islam to date, the scholars interpreted the Holy Qurʾān, all over the world. They performed their responsibilities of explaining the Holy Qurʾān according to the circumstances. As result of this, they left massive heritage in the field of Tafsir. However a large number of these books could not be pupblished and vanished with the pasage of time and huge number of these scholarly works is available in two forms; published and manuscript. Libraries of Turkey, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Berlin, Leiden and Sub-continent, are proud to have antique manuscripts. Tafsir Talkhis-ud-Durar of Allama Abdul Hameed Bin Abdul Majeed Al-Hakimi (514 A.H) is one of the notable manuscripts scholarship in the field of Tafsir. The manuscript is available in Noor-e-Usmania Library, Istanbul, Turkey, which is famous for the preservation of Islamic literature. The manuscript of Tafsir Talkhis-ud-Durar, exists in one volumes of 425 sheets, each sheet contain two parallel pages. The language of the manuscript is Arabic, and scribe style is Arabic Naskh, while scribe used red color for Qurʾānic words and the black for the interpretation. This corpus of Tafsir is a valuable treasure of a well-learned and prolific brain of Allama Abdul Hameed Bin Abdul Majeed Al-Hakimi. He not only interprets the text of the Holy Qurʾān literally but also tries to relate the Qurʾānic message to the contemporary problems of his era, ranging from the life of individual to the broad spectrum of the collective sphere life. We may consider it among early interpretations of the Holy Qurʾān, which are far away from sectarianism and focus on message of the Holy Qurʾān and deal specifically with the social problems of the Muslims world. In the view of its important the Department of Tafsir and Quranic Sciences at the Faculty of Usuluddin, Internationa Islamic University made it a research project to be edited by four PhD students of the Department; the details are as follow: . Muhammad Esmaeel Haqani; from Sheet: 1 to 74 (Surah Al-Fatiha to Surah Al-Maida and first pard of the thesis containg introduction of the manuscript and the author and the scribe and mathodology of the author in detail.) Nasrullah tend to edit the manuscript of this interpretation and devided in to fifteen chapber beginning from Surah al-An’am to end of Surah Taha, (sheet no: 74 to 189 of the manuscript). The thesis also contains a a brief preface containing basic information about the manuscript, the scribe, the auhor and his mathodology in his Tafsir. Abdul Rahman tend to edit the manuscript of this interpretation beginning from Surah al-Anbia to end of Surah Ghafir, (sheet no: 189 to 306 of the manuscript). The thesis also contains a a brief preface containing basic information about the manuscript, the scribe, the auhor and his mathodology in his Tafsir 4 Jawed Ahmed tend to edit the manuscript of this interpretation, as a research project in terms of editing, annotating, clarification, critical analysis in the foot notes where necessary. ABSTRACT This aims of this study is to comprehend  the increase in the critical thinking skills of PGSD students through the implementation of social inquiry models in elementary social studies education courses. The population of this study were all 3rd semester students of the PGSD FKIP Unla study program. Sampling was carried out by using saturated sampling technique, where all members of the population were sampled, class A01 as a control class that applied conventional learning and class A02 as an experimental class that was treated with social inquiry learning models. The data in this study were obtained through the results of the pretest and posttest using the critical thinking essay test instrument. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in the increase in the critical thinking skills of PGSD students in the SD social studies course after the social inquiry learning model is applied. Beside that, the critical thinking skills of PGSD students in the Elementary Social Sciences Education course after applying the social inquiry learning model are better than the control class using conventional learning methods.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa PGSD melalui penerapan model inkuiri sosial dalam mata kuliah pendidikan IPS SD.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester 3 program studi PGSD FKIP Unla. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik sampling jenuh, dimana seluruh anggota populasi dijadikan sampel, yaitu kelas A01 dijadikan kelas kontrol yang menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional dan kelas A02 dijadikan kelas eksperimen yang mendapatkan perlakuan model pembelajaran inkuiri sosial. Data yang dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui hasil pretes dan postes dengan menggunakan instrumen tes uraian berpikir  kritis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa PGSD pada mata kuliah Pendidikan IPS SD setelah diterapkan model  pembelajaran inkuiri sosial. Selain itu, kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa PGSD pada mata kuliah Pendidikan IPS SD setelah diterapkan model  pembelajaran inkuiri sosial lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional.

This study aimed to explore the impact of Covid 19 pandemic on the educational process in public education schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through three main aspects: The first aspect: the availability of distance learning resources and facilities for public education students during this pandemic, the second aspect: the capabilities and of public education students to use distance learning resources during the Corona pandemic, the third aspect: the extent to which the practice of educational activities has been affected by distance learning during the Corona pandemic. The study used quantitative methodology and the descriptive survey approach in order to explore theses aspects. This approach depends entirely on distributing the questionnaires electronically to the participants. A questionnaire tool was used in order to collect the study data. The results of this study yielded several results: Regarding the availability of learning resources for students during this pandemic, it was found that they are generally available to all students. As for the capabilities and abilities of general education students to use learning resources, it is clear that most students were able to use these resources effectively. Finally, regarding the extent of how the educational activities affected during this pandemic, the results showed that they were not affected in general and that there was a positive impact on educational activities during distance learning, however, this positive impact not as expected.

This research is motivated by the low social studies learning outcomes of students. The purpose of this study is to improve students' social studies learning outcomes by applying a snowball throwing learning model. This research was conducted at SDN 022 Pulau Baru Kopah. The subjects of the study were the third grade students, which consisted of 20 students consisting of 10 men and 10 women. The type of this research was classroom action research with a collaborative form. While this class action research procedure consists of, planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results showed, the initial data completeness of social studies learning outcomes of students only 11 people or 55% of students who completed while 9 students or 45% did not complete. the first cycle by applying the snowball throwing cooperative learning model, student learning outcomes improved. This can be seen from 20 students, as many as 15 or 75% of students have been completed while 5 students or 25% of students have not been completed. In cycle II student learning outcomes increased again, this can be seen from the number of students who completed as many as 18 students or 90% while students who have not finished reduced to 2 students or 10%. The researcher can conclude that by applying the snowball throwing cooperative learning model can improve the social learning outcomes of students of SDN 022 Pulau Baruh Kopah.

The purpose of this study was to improve the social studies learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Palembang by applying the Scramble learning model. This research is a Classroom Action Research. The subjects in this study were class V.B SD Negeri 2 Palembang, with a total of 29 students, 16 male students and 13 female students. This research was conducted in several stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques using tests, observation and documentation. This research was conducted in three cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student learning outcomes and student activeness by applying the Scramble learning model. The improvement of student learning outcomes in cycle I 21 students (72.41%), cycle II 23 students (79.31%), cycle III (96.55%). While the results of observations of student learning activities increased from the first cycle of meeting 1 by 65.08%, meeting 2 65.51%, cycle II meeting 1 66.38% and meeting 2 increasing to 70.69%, and meeting III meeting 1 of 77.59% and meeting 2 increased to 84.05%. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Scramble learning model can improve social studies learning outcomes for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Palembang.Keywords: learning outcomes, Scramble learning model, social science.
