    This study aimed to find out the level of Psychological Security of Nizwa University students and to find out the differences in level of Psychological Security according to gender (males/ females), the sample included (238) males and females. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach was used. The researcher used the Maslow scale for the sense of Psychological Security and interpolation by Dawani and Dirani (1983) in the Abdullah’s study (1996) after verifying its validity and stability. The study sample (238) students from Nizwa University in the Sultanate of Oman were randomly chosen. The findings of the study could be summarized as the following: there is a high level of Psychological Security with Nizwa University students according to the comprehensive Psychological Security scale with a median (2.24) feeling with Psychological Security compares to threat with average (2.29) and feeling love to hatred with average (2.25) feeling with loyalty to loneliness with average (2.19), there is a significant difference at the level of α=0.05 between males and females in favour of the males. In light of the results, a number of recommendations and proposals were submitted to enhance the level of psychological security among students of the University of Nizwa, and the general Omani and Arab universities.

This study aimed to find the relationship between leadership skills and self-esteem of the Jordanian universities presidents. The sample of the study included all Jordanian universities presidents for the academic year (2011/2012) counting 30 presidents .The researcher used the analytical descriptive approach to theoretical literature related to the two variables of the study, and developed two questionnaires to collect data: one to detect the degree of implementation of leadership skills, and the other to determine the selfesteem degree. Findings revealed a high level in the implementation of these categories of leadership skills and high level in availability of self-esteem indicators. There was no statistically significant difference due to specialty and type of the university. Also, high positive correlation (p. 0.01) between the leadership skills and self-esteem was found. The indicators of self-esteem may be used in choosing institutional leaders and developing strategies, tests to refine those skills, and enhancing the self concept.

Global citizenship refers to a sense of belonging to a larger culture and humanity in general. It emphasizes the people's political, economical, social, and cultural interdependence and interconnection at the local, national, and global levels. This study explores university students’ perceptions toward global citizenship knowledge, skills, and values in the Sultanate of Oman. To achieve this objective, a descriptive approach was followed by developing a questionnaire including 47 items covering three major dimensions of global citizenship education, namely cognitive, socio-emotional, and behavioral (CSeB). The questionnaire was tested to ensure its validity and reliability and applied to a study sample of 299 students (122 males and 177 females). The findings show statistically significant differences at (α=0.05) between the mean of students’ responses who studied Global Citizenship Course (GCC) and those who did not. This reflects the effectiveness of the GCC on students’ points of view. Also, the findings show a significant difference between students’ points of view regarding the accommodation variable in the cognitive domain in favor of students who live with their families compared with those who live on-campus. GCC plays a significant role in developing student skills and pro-social behavior. The effort to establish a concept of global citizenship is a small step towards a better understanding of its impact and effect.

The purpose of the present study is to identify the level of emotional maturity among university students and to find the significant differences in emotional maturity across gender and their level of education. To achieve the stipulated objectives descriptive method of research was followed. The sample for the present investigation was randomly drawn from different department of Jamia Millia Islamia New Delhi. A total sample of 100(50 male & 50 female) including Post Graduates and Research Scholars were selected. The data was collected by administering the Emotional Maturity Scale developed by Prof. Yeshver Singh & Prof. Mahesh Bhargave (1990). The data was then analyzed through Mean, sd and t-test for the comparison of mean scores between groups with the help of SPSS 21. The findings of the study revealed that majority of the post graduate students and research scholars of the university are emotionally unstable. The findings also showed that male students are emotionally immature than females on personality disintegration dimension of emotional maturity. Significant difference was also found between post graduates and research scholars on personality disintegration dimension of emotional maturity. On other dimensions of emotional maturity no difference was found between males and females and post graduates and research scholars University students must be taught to identify their level of emotional maturity, as they are at the highest seat of learning.

The purpose of the study is to examine differences of passionate love by culture, sex and the state of being in love at the time of the research. It was conducted with a total of 235 young people, 118 from a Turkish University and 117 from a US university. As a data collection tool, the Passionate Love Scale (PLS) and personal information forms were used. In this study, it was found that culture and the state of being in love affected passionate love. It was also found that university students in an individualistic culture (the US) reported a higher score of passionate love. However, there was not a significant difference for passionate love between scores obtained by both males and females from the US and Turkey. Furthermore, the PLS scores of the university students in love were significantly higher than those of the students who were not in love in both countries.

This study aims to determine the university students’ level of motivation in terms of different variables. A study group of this research has been designed through one of the non-random sampling methods, Using appropriate sampling, 606 students from Faculty of Education of C.U. have been involved in this study. Motivation scale in English Language Learning developed by Mehdiyev,Usta,Uğurlu (2015) was used as an instrument of data collection. T-test and one - way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to resolve problems of this research. As a result of the research the motivation level of university students hasn’t been revealed significantly different regarding to the gender variable. However, considering the t-test results of motivation scale dimensions, confidence, attitude and personal use, significant difference is seen in favour of women in personal use dimension. The level of language learning motivation of female students is higher than men’s regarding to personal use dimension. However, men’s and women’s views don’t differ significantly in attitude and confidence dimensions. University students don’t present significant differences in terms of birth place, parent’s education level, total motivation scores and confident, attitude and personal dimensions. Students’ motivation levels are seen not to be influenced by the places such as village, provision or city where they have spent the most of their lifetime. At the same time the findings revealed that parental status variable in terms of primary, secondary and university graduates has no effects on students’ motivation.

The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of participation in a 1-week summer camp on thehopelessness and self-esteem of the university students attending Sport Sciences Faculty. Participants were 36university students assigned to experiment group using a random procedure. Coopersmith Self-esteem and Beck Hopelessness Scales were completed at the beginning and end of the summer camp by designed the university. The obtained data were analysed in the SPSS 18.0 program and the significance level was taken as 0.05. The descriptive statistics, independent simple t test, paired simple t test and Pearson correlation were used for analyse the data in the study. According to the results of the research, no significant difference was observed in the comparison of the hopelessness and self-esteem levels between pre and post-test. In addition, there was a significant difference in the hopelessness level of male and female students but any significant difference was not observed in terms of self-esteem. There was a significant relationship between hopelessness and self-esteem pre and post-test. These result shows that a 1-week summer camp cannot change the hopelessness or self-esteem level. However, as the self-esteem rises, the rate of despair decreases whereas as the despair rises, the selfesteem decreases.

The objective of the current study was to detect the relationship between the qualitative differences between the creativity and the age of the student and the age of the parents at birth، family size، birth order، economic and cultural level، loss of parents and their habitat (environment) using the descriptive approach. A total of 953 students، from the first level (males and females) and from the scientific and literary colleges in Khartoum University، Sudan. The results showed no significant differences in creativity، no correlative between the age of the parents and the students' ages in creativity، but there are: - a negative correlative relationship with maternal age at level (0. 01) and a positive correlative relationship with the age of the students at the level (0. 01)، but in both flexibility and fluency، there is a negative correlation relationship statistically significant with the age of students at the level of (0. 01). There is no correlation between the creativity and birth order of the student، creativity and family size، negative correlative relation with family size at (0. 01). The differences in creativity could be attributed to the place of residence at a significant level (0. 01).

   The research aimed to identify the reality and attitude of Mardin university students about knowledge sharing, in addition to identifying channels which students preferred it to sharing knowledge, the motivations that guide students to share knowledge, and the main obstacles that impede the process of sharing knowledge. The research focused on colleges that adopt Arabic as a basic teaching language, the analytical descriptive approach was adopted in this research, a questionnaire was designed based on previous studies to measure the attitudes of students about the process of sharing knowledge, And distributed to (235) students. The results showed that the most important sources of students to obtain their information are course teachers with an average of 3.95. But overall the search process was low, and the aim of most students from knowledge sharing was to clarify and discuss the exam issues by (3.78). The references which course teachers are provided them were the most widely used tools by (3.72), It turns out that students tend to share their knowledge face-to-face by (4.14), but about the attitudes of university students, most of them were aware the value of knowledge and their sharing it, and they considered that helps to improve the process of education by (4.16), and most of them encourage knowledge sharing and consider it good by(4.36). The study also presented a set of recommendations that would contribute to improving the process of sharing knowledge among students in the university institution.

The aim of this study is to examine the career stress levels of university students in different faculties according to age, gender, faculty, class and financial status variables. The research was conducted using a quantitative research design. The sample of this study consisted of 1,189 university students from Kastamonu University Education Faculty, School of Physical Education and Sports, Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Engineering and Architecture. Career Stress Scale consisting of 20 items and three sub-dimensions was used. Data were normally distributed and parametric analysis was used. According to the findings of this study, it was determined that the average score of the participants was 2.43 from the total score of the career stress scale. In this context, it was found that the career stress levels of the participants were moderate at the lower limit. According to the average scores of the participants, the lowest subscale was found to be an external conflict with 2.13 average and the highest subscale was found to be job anxiety with an average score of 2.82. A significant difference was found almost between all different groups in different ways (p > 0.05). As a result, it was found that the career stress levels of the university students participating in the research were moderate, as well as differences according to variables such as gender, class, age, faculty and income status. Among these differences, the most striking ones appear to be the variables of age and income. In this context, it was determined that university students who have lower age and lower-income status level have higher career stress level than age and income status variables. Developments in information and communication technologies have raised the issue of the intergenerational digital divide that can take place between “digital natives” and “digital immigrants”. Despite emphatic claims concerning how educational systems must take into account the specific characteristics of “digital natives”, sound empirical research on these topics is lacking, especially for Europe. This paper presents the results of research performed during the course of 2008, studying how university students in Italy use digital technologies. The research is based on a survey of 1086 undergraduate students at the University of Milan-Bicocca, complemented by focus groups and in-depth interviews. The results of our research show that, even if university students are familiar with digital technologies, the general possession of high level skills in accessing and using the Internet should not be taken for granted.
