This study aimed at investigating the impact of teaching by the method of drama on helping the students of the basic eighth-grade to acquire the concepts of human rights included in the National Education textbook. The study aimed at revealing the impact of the cooperative learning strategy in improving the performance of eighth grade students in reading comprehension and motivation of learning. The study was limited to the eighth grade students in the schools of Irbid governorate. In the second semester of the academic year 2018/2019 was followed the approach semi-experimental, In order to achieve the objective of the current study، Where the members of the sample of students from the eighth grade to two tests on the tool to measure the strategy of cooperative learning، one of them the prior and the other post, This type is depends on one group and considered as a case study, and by presence of prior measurement that provides some information on the performance of the study group before the experiment to be then - compared prior -measurement by post-measurement The study reached the following results: - There were statistically significant differences at the level of statistical significance (α≤0.05) In the average signs of students in the experimental group (who are studying using a cooperative learning strategy) and the average signs of students in the control group (who are studying using the normal method) in the test to solve the post-reading comprehension. - There were statistically significant differences at the level of statistical significance (α≤0.05) average student signs in the experimental group (Who are studying using a cooperative learning strategy) and average student signs in the control group (who study using the usual method) In the test of solving the comprehension of post-reading, when reviewing the arithmetic averages, the differences were found to be in favor of the experimental group; It reached the arithmetic average of the experimental group (17.43) while the arithmetic average of the control group (13.34) which indicates the high skill of solving reading comprehension among members of the experimental group compared to the control group, This indicates a positive impact of the use of collaborative learning in improving students' ability to solve reading comprehension In the light of the findings of the study, the researcher made several recommendations, including: Modern teaching strategies use modern teaching in the teaching of Arabic language because of their positive impact on positive learning. The need for the teachers of Arabic to know the modern teaching strategies to learn and teach different language skills.

  The study aimed to study the effect of the use of educational strategies in developing the ability to solve the mathematical problem in the mathematics of the eighth grade students in Ajloun Governorate. The study was based on the semi- experimental method. The sample consisted of 88 students in the eighth grade,: The experimental group, the number of students (43) students, and the control group (45) Students. The results of the study showed that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05αα) in the ability to solve the mathematical problem among the eighth grade students in mathematics in Jordan due to the method of teaching according to the strategy of solving the mathematical issue. The study recommended several recommendations, To use modern methods of education, and to hold workshops for teachers to introduce them to the importance of strategies to solve the sports issue

This study aimed to identify the effect of a STEAM-based learning approach in teaching the educational robot's subject on academic achievement and creative thinking among eighth-grade students in Jordan. A purposive sample was selected and divided into two groups. An experimental group (n=30) implements a STEAM-based learning approach, whereas the control group (n=32) studied in a traditional method. A pre- posttest was administered, and the data were analyzed using statistical methods to validate the study results, such as "t" tests and a one-way ANOVA test. The results showed statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in academic achievement and creative thinking. The study aimed to find out the effect of employing smart board while teaching mathematics for the eighth grade in the students' achievement in the Directorate of Aqaba Education. To this end, the researcher used the semi-experimental method, and the study tools in the achievement test. The sample of the study consisted of 52 students from the eighth grade in the King Abdullah II School of Excellence, Gulf of Aqaba in Jordan, distributed equally over two groups: a control group and an experimental group. The results showed that there was a statistically significant effect at the level of significance (α = 05, 0) for using the smart board in the achievement of the eighth grade students in mathematics. The differences were in favor of the experimental group that taught the educational material using the smart board, compared to the control group, which taught the educational material in the traditional way. The study recommended working on the generalization of the use of the Smart board and its activation in all schools, for all levels of study, and in all subjects, especially mathematics

This study aims to know the influence of active learning model Course Review Horay to biology learning outcomes at eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Batam academic year 2013/2014. This research design is  randomized experiment using posttest only control-group design. The study population is all the eighth grade students of  SMP Negeri 10 Batam with reached population consist of 7 classes. The sampling technique using a simple random sampling. Samples were selected class VIII5 as control class and VIII8 as experiment class. The instrument  that use in this research is the form of the test. Requirement have been in the form of normality and homogeneity test, which showed that normal and homogeneous data. Technique of data analysis conducted by the t test. The result analysis of data using the t test showed the tvalue 3.01 and ttable is 2.00 (tvalue > ttable). The results showed that the active learning result model Course Review Horay give effect to increase student learning outcomes from the average of the experimental class 82,57 and control class 76,04. Thus, the hypothesis put forward acceptable significance level (α = 0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that the using of active learning model Course Review Horay influential on learning outcomes of biology at eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Batam. Keywords: Course Review Horay, Biology Learning Outcomes.

Abstrak             Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model Picture and Picture dan Model Sugesti Imajinasi dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi pada siswa kelas VIII SMP. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Banjarnegara. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIII-D kelompok eksperimen 1 menggunakan model Picture and Picture dan VIII-C Kelompok eksperimen 2 menggunakan model Sugesti Imajinasi. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design dengan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Picture and Picture lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model Sugesti Imajinasi dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi pada siswa kelas VIII SMP.   Kata Kunci: model picture and picture, model sugesti imajinasi, teks puisi.   Abstract This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Picture and Picture Model and Imagination Suggestion Model in learning to write poetry for eight-grade students of Junior High School. The population in this study were eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Banjarnegara. The samples of this study were the class VIII-D students as in the experimental group 1 using the Picture and Picture and VIII-C as in the experimental group 2 using the Imagination Suggestion model. The design used in this research is quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The results showed that the Picture and Picture model was more effective than the Imagination Suggestion model in learning to write poetry for the eighth-grade students of Junior High School.

The objectives of this study were to find out whether or not there was significant improvement in writing and speaking achievements of the eighth grade students of SMPN1 Jarai after they were taught by using Sociogram, to find out whether or not there was significant improvement in each aspect of writing and speaking achievements of the eighth grade students of SMPN1 Jarai after they were taught by using Sociogram, to find out whether or not there was significant difference in writing and speaking achievements between the eighth grade students of SMP 1 Jarai who were taught by using Sociogram and those who were not, and to find out the perception of the eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Jarai after they were taught by using Socoiogram. In this paper, an experimental research method with pre and post test control group design was used with 70 students as the sample divided into two groups, experimental and control group. However, only the students of the experimental group were taught by using Sociogram. The obtained data were analyzed by using t-test. The students were given questionnaire to know their perceptions. The result showed that there was a significant difference in both students? writing and speaking achievements after they were tought by using Sociogram. Furthermore, it was found that there was a significant difference in students? writing and speaking achievement between the experimental and control groups. In conclusion, Sociogram improves the students? writing and speaking achievements.

This present study was quasi experiment research. This study aimed to find out whether or not there is any the improvement of the students’ reading comprehension by using buzz group technique. The population of the study was all the eighth grade students of SMP SENTOSA BAKTI BATURAJA in Academic Year 2019/ 2020. The sample was taken by using cluster random sampling. The sample is divided by two experimental class and control group. The try-out was done at VIII. C with 22 respondents. The data was collected by using test. The reliability of the data was taken through Alpha Cronbach. The data were analyzed by using paired T-test of control class and paired t-test of experimental class and independent t-test too. The result showed that from the mean score was 71 improved to be 84, 6 and based on independent T-test the value of T obtained was 8,122 as significant level of 0.05 for 2 tailed testing and degree of freedom (df) was 48 the critical value of T table 3, 425. The value was higher than T table (8,122>3,425) and the value sig, (2 tailed)= 0.000 less than the value of significant level (0.05).  It mean that there was significant improvement the students who was taught by using buzz group technique and those who was not at SMP SENTOSA BAKTI Baturaja. It concluded that Buzz group technique was effective to promote students’ reading comprehension at the Eighth Grade students of SMP SENTOSA BAKTI BATURAJA.

In learning foreign language such as English, a learner should have motivationin  order  to  have  willingness  to  learn.  This  study  is  an  attempt  to  investigate  thestudents’ motivation in learning English by using Hangman Game. And this study wasto find out if the use of Hangman game motivates the students in learning English. Themethod  used  in  this  study  was  quantitative  with  experimental  research  design.  Thetarget population of this study was the eighth grade students of MTs Negeri Cirebon 1.The writer took two classes as samples and the number of the samples was 36 students.The  samples  were  divided  into  experimental  group  and  control  group.  There  are  tworesearch  instruments  which  were  used  to  collect  data.  They  were  questionnaire  andobservation. The result analysis of observation showed that the students in experimentalgroup  had  higher  motivation  than  in  control  group.  Meanwhile,  the  calculation  of  thevalue  of  the  questionnaire  showed  that  there  were  significant  differences  betweenexperimental group and control group. The result of taccount was 2,44 while the result ofttable was  1,994.  It  was  mean  that  the  value  of  taccount (2,44)  >  ttable (1,994).  So,hypotheses  alternative  (Ha)  was  accepted  or  the  use  of  Hangman  game  motivate  thestudents in learning English to eighth grade students of MTs Negeri Cirebon 1.

<p>Mastering reading comprehension is a must for language learners. Without mastering reading comprehension students aren’t able to grasp the message on their written form of learning material. Yet, reading comprehension oftenly considered to be difficult by students. This may caused by teacher’s method of teaching that doesn’t effective. This article compare between the use of Cooperative Learning method model Teams-Games-Tournaments (TGT) and Direct Instructional Method (DI) to teach studentsz reading comprehension. Here describe there is significant difference in reading comprehension achievement between the students taught using TGT and those taught using DI of the eighth grade students of one state junior high school in Grogol, and whether TGT is more effective than DI to teach reading comprehension. The method used in this study is experimental method (comparative study). The population of the research is all the eighth grade students. The sample was taken by using cluster random sampling. Two groups of student were taken, VIII-B as experimental group and VIII-C as control group. The instrument to collect data is test. The data were analyzed using t-test formula. The computation showed that t-observation (t<sub>o</sub>) is 3.32 consulting t-table <sub>(78,</sub> <sub>0.05)</sub> = 1.96, therefore the t<sub>o</sub> is higher than t<sub>t</sub>. It is concluded that there’s significant difference between experimental and control group. Besides, the mean of the group of students taught using TGT is 62.62, while that of those taught using DI is 59.46, meaning that TGT gives better achievement than DI. Thus, TGT is more effective than DI to teach reading comprehension.</p>
