This research is aimed to determine the effectivity of cooperative learning model through Numbered Heads Together (NHT) by visual media on students’ achievement in material life organization of VII grade SMP Rehoboth. The research is quasi experimental design, with nonequivalen control group design. The research samples are VIIa and VIIb grade. The technique of data collecting is by using random sampling. The average score of the students’ achievement that has been teach by using Numbered Heads Together (NHT) of cooperative learning model with visual media is 14,89 as higher than the conventional model of 11,29. The t-test in standard 5%  shows tcount= 5,023 bigger than its comparation to ttable = 1,679, it means there is a significant difference in the post-test result.  The counting of effect size is 1,27 it includes high, so the concluded that Numbered Heads Together (NHT) of cooperative learning model with visual media gave 39,80% of contribution on students’ achievement.Key words : Numbered heads together, visual media.

[Title: The Effect of STAD and Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model on the Physics Concepts Mastery]. This research aims to determine the influence of cooperative learning model of STAD and Jigsaw type through physics concept mastery of XI grade students in SMAN 1 Kediri. This type of research is the quasi experimental with posttest only control group design. The population of this research is all students of XI grade in SMAN 1 Kediri of 2018/2019 year of lesson with cluster random sampling taking technique. There are two samples that is the class that given treatment by cooperative learning model STAD’s type (class experiment 1) and class that given treatment by Jigsaw’s type (class experiment 2). The result revealed that the mean score of the post-test for concept mastery for two class in row are 73.69 and 61.07. The two class was homogeny and normal disrtribution. The research hypothesis was tested using t-test polled variances. The result showed that the value of ttab was higher than tarith, (2.841>2.021) at 5% as significancy, that mean H0 rejected and Ha received. Based on result of data analysis and discussion, the conclusion are there was an effect between cooperative learning model STAD and Jigsaw type through physics concept mastery of XI grade students in SMAN 1 Kediri.

Critical thinking skill of students is affected by many factors, including the learning model. There are many kinds of learning model; one of it is cooperative learning model with student facilitator and explaining type. This article discussed the results of research on the application of the student facilitator and explaining model in improving critical thinking skill of students in introduction of office administration subject. This study used a quasi-experimental method with Nonequivalent Control Group design. The results of conducted research showed a positive and significant difference in the application of the cooperative learning model with student facilitator and explaining type to improve critical thinking skill of learners.ABSTRAKKemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, diantaranya adalah model pembelajaran,dimana model pembelajaran ini banyak sekali macamnya salah satunya adalah model cooverarative learning tipe student facilitator and eksplaining. Artikel ini membahas hasil penelitian tentang penerapan model student facilitator and eksplaining dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada mata pelajaran pengantar administrasi perkantoran. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang positif dan signifikan dalam penerapan model pembelejaran kooperatif tipe student facilitator and eksplaining untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

This study was aimed to find out the effectiveness of cooperative script learning model with handout towards the students’ critical thinking ability. The design of the study was quasi experiment in the form of nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. This study was conducted in SMA N 1 Gubug on 1st -22th August 2015 with the population of an entire class of X classes in SMA N 1 Gubug. The sample of the study consisted of two classes taken with cluster random sampling technique that was class X-F as experimental class and the class X-G as the control class. The data collecting technique were test and documentation.Based on the data analysis, it was obtained the means of the pretest score of experimental class was 44,77 and the control class was 33,33. Meanwhile, the students’ average score of post-test in experimental class was 80,40 and the control class was 73,70. Based on the pre-test and post-test result from those classes, it showed that there was a significant effect between students’ independence and students’ outcome in experimental class compared with control class. The hypothesis testing used significant level 5% was obtained tcount = 2,83 dan ttable = 1,67. This result indicated that cooperative script learning model with handout is more effective to improve students’ critical thinking ability

This study aims to determine the significant differences in the competence of IPS knowledge group of students who are taught with the learning model of Make A Match audio visual media assisted with groups of students who were taught by the conventional learning model on the students of grade V SD Gugus Budi Utomo Sub-district Denpasar East Year 2016/2017 . The design used in this research is a quasi-experimental research with non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study is all students of grade V SD Gugus Budi Utomo East Denpasar District, amounting to 324 people. The sample is determined by random sampling technique. The sample in this research is VB SDN 1 Kesiman students with 31 students as experiment group and students of VA SDN 6 Kesiman class with 31 students as control group. The data were collected using the test method in the form of a standard multiple-choice objective test. The data obtained were analyzed using the t-test. The results of data analysis obtained ttabel = 5.611 while at the level of significance 5% and dk = 60 obtained ttable = 2,000. Because thitung = 5.611> ttable = 2,000, then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. This means that there is a significant difference of students' IPS competency which is taught by Make A Match learning with Audio Visual media with students who are taught by conventional learning model.. So it can be concluded that there is influence of learning model Make A Match audio visual media assisted to the knowledge competence of IPS students of grade V SD Gugus Budi Utomo Sub-district of East Denpasar Year lesson 2016/2017.

The pusposes of research to find out learning result using cooperative learning model of type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) with scientific approach learning model of type Problem Based Learning (PBL), specially on Basic electricity and electronics Subjects at SMK Negeri 1 Sumbar. This is probably because in the learning process students are less active and less participate in teaching. This research is a quasi experimental study with pretest-posttest control group design. Experimental I class used cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) and Experimental II class used scientific approach learning model of Problem Based Learning (PBL). The results of study have shown that average of the experimental I class test result is 83,13 while the Experimental II class has provided the average outcome of  78,29. However, this learning shows that there is a significant effect of student’s learning outcome between the usage of cooperative learning model of typeNumbered Heads Together (NHT)rather than scientific approach learning model of type Problem Based Learning (PBL)on Basic electricity and electronics subject. The hypothesis test(t-test) shows that tc> tt( 2.12 > 2.05). Therefore,applying cooperative learning model of type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) is more effective than scientific approach learning model of type Problem Based Learning (PBL) .Keywords: Numbered Heads Together, Problem Based Learning, Learning Outcomes

This study aims to determine differences in student learning outcomes learned through cooperative learning model type of talking stick with students who are taught conventional learning model. This research uses quasi experimental method with nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted at 62 students in third class elementary school. The result of the research is before implemntation cooperative type learning model talking stick type in the experimental class and conventional model learning in the control class is obtained tcount<ttabel that is -0.430 <2.000 which means there is no significant difference civic education learning outcome. In the experimental class and control class after treatment obtained tcount<ttabel is 0.676 <2.000 which also means there is no difference civic education learning outcome. Thus, it can be conclude that cooperative learning model with talking stick can enhance elementary students’ achivement in civic education.

The aim of this study is to find out the significant differences of scientific attitude between a group of students who is taught by cooperative learning in type of group investigation and a group of students who is taught by conventional learning. This study is quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design and post test only design. The population of this study is the whole V grade students Gugus I in Buleleng Sub-district which is involving 149 students. The sample is taken randomly by using random sampling. The sample is 60 students from V grade students of SDN 3 Banyuning and SDN 2 Banyuning. Validation on scientific attitude instrument of content validity with Greogory test, grain validity using product moment and reliability with Alpha Cronbach.The data is taken by using questionnaire and analyze using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics analysis (T-test) with polled variant formula. The finding shows that the average score of post test group is 83,71 which belong to high category. Meanwhile, the average score of conventional group is 68,47 which belong to moderate category. The obtain result of T test is tcount = 9,99 belong to 5% significant from ttable = 2,000. In conclusion, tcount>ttable, with a result that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.It means that there was a significant difference in scientific attitudes between classes that were taught by cooperative learning model of group investigation type and classes that were taught by conventional learning model. Thus, cooperative learning model of group investigation type had a positive effect on students' scientific attitude.

Abstract : This study aims to determine the effectiveness of writing personal letter of official purposes study using the M4 (Make a Match-Mind Map) learning model. This research uses quasi experimental method with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research is class VII of SMP Negeri 4 Magelang with sample of class VII E. The result of this research is M4 learning model effective used in writing personal letter for official purposes study is evidenced by increasing average of pretest and posttest that reaches 19.62 and the significance value of t test result is 0,000 < 0,05 which means there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest of M4 learning model. In addition, as many as 18 students or 85.72% in category of very good or effective in writing a personal letter for official purposes. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan metode silih tanya berbantuan kartu model dan metode make a match. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 4 Sungguminasa Kab. Gowa berjumlah 351 siswa dan total sampel berjumlah 64 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes yang terdiri dari pretest dan posttest dan non tes berupa lembar observasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data nilai siswa menggunakan statistik deskriptif rata-rata nilai kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode silih tanya berbantuan kartu model adalah 86,84 dengan kategori sedang dan yang diajar menggunakan metode make a match adalah 77,78 dengan kategori sedang. Berdasarkan analisis statistik inferensial bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan metode silih tanya berbantuan kartu model dengan yang menggunakan metode make a match pada kelas VII SMPN 4 Sungguminasa Kab. Gowa. AbstractThis study aims to determine the mathematical communication ability of students who use card-assisted questions method and make a match method. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were all VII grade students of SMPN 4 Sungguminasa, Gowa Regency with 351 students and a total sample of 64 students with purposive sampling techniques. The instrument used in this study was a test consisting of pre-test and post-test and non-test that is observation sheet. Based on the data analysis results that average the value of students’ mathematical communication skills who were taught using the card-assisted questions was 86.84 in the medium category and those who taught using make a match method were 77.78 in the medium category. The results of inferential statistical analysis that there is a significant difference between the mathematical communication abilities of students who use card-assisted questions and using the make a match method in class VII of SMPN 4 Sungguminasa, Gowa Regency.

This study is aimed at investigating the difference of students’ civics achievement between those who are taught by Think Pair Share model based on concept mapping and those who are taught by conventional learning model of the fifth grade students in Elementary School of Cluster I in Petang District. It is a quasi-experimental research using non-equivalent post-test only control group design. The population of this research is 102 students in grade V in Elementary School of Cluster I Petang District. The samples of this research are fifth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Carangsari as experimental group and fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Carangsari as control group. The data of civics achievement were collected by using multiple choice tests. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The result showed that tcount= 3,83 and ttable = 2,03 (tcount>ttable) which can be concluded that there are significant difference between the students’ civics achievement between those who were taught by Think Pair Share learning model based on concept mapping and those who were taught by the conventional learning model in grade V in Elementary School of Cluster I Petang District of Badung Regency in academic year 2017/2018.
