Countries, industries and business leaders face an increasingly complex world characterized by the proliferation of new digital technologies, affecting productivity and causing organizational disruptions.Today the reward for success and the penalty for failure have become even greater than some time ago. Most digital strategies do not reflect how the digital environment is changing the fundamentals of the economy, the dynamics of industries, and the meaning of competition. Digital strategy must be seriously different from what we usually see now – otherwise failure is inevitable. Why is this possible at a time when almost every company in the world is thinking about its digital future? Why are so many digital strategies unsuccessful? The answer should be related to how much large and influential economic force the digital environment has become, and how it is becoming incompatible with traditional economic, strategic and operational models. The problems, especially standing out from their General number have been revealed in the article, recommendations to the heads of large organizations on the implementation of corporate digital strategies have been given. The ideas in this work are based on research, that has considered the importance of a more inclusive infrastructure to expand access to digital technologies and the emergence of new families of technologies in this scientific field. These ideas have been illustrated with evidence from the recent annual series of global market studies, which examine corporate practices in the light of digitalization.

In the economic literature, the relationship between the growth and inflation has been discussed in different ways with respect to the development stages of the world economy. According to the current view, there is a negative relationship between growth and inflation. This seems to be compatible with the fact that the investments and the economic growth have been negatively affected by the high and chronic inflation rates. Thus, improvement of the long-run growth potential depends on the elimination of the uncertainties that stems from high inflation rates. Developments in commodity, service and financial markets necessitate the countries to perceive the world as a global market. The countries (or provinces in our study now) that appraise this  process of decentralizations could improve their living standards economically and socially if and only if they manage inflation well hence the economic cost and social cost both are minimize for sustainable growth in each province.

The relevance of the article is due to the need to reduce the risk of introducing a digital environment into the socialization of the individual. The purpose of this work is to analyze the scientific literature on the problem of socialization in pedagogy and psychology. It was revealed that the interdisciplinary study of socialization had an impact on the absence of a unified definition. However, they have a common source: socialization is the process of involvement of an individual in the world of social communities via means of culture and social connections. The authors of the article believe that reducing the risk of digital technologies is possible, first, in studying the socialization of the individual in the digital environment, based on the principle of systemicity and multidimensionality (cognitive, emotional and behavioral) socialization. Secondly, the model of goal-oriented and systematic, psychological and pedagogical support of a personality is of need.

The “digital environment” is perceived as a new situation in the political consciousness of the society, as well as a source of xenophobia in politics. In the context of political uncertainty in the world, journalism is becoming a vehicle for spreading cyberphobia – a new type of social fear. Cyberphobia is understood as a natural reaction of public consciousness to the intensification of new types of crimes against the individual and society with the use of “digital” technologies. The new informational reality has predetermined cyberthreats that appeared in the media leading to the most dangerous social phobia. This, for instance, has been combined with the idea of the “Russian hacker” and his personification as the world Evil.

A good business idea very often remains unrealized due to financial, institutional or legislative barriers faced by the young people in developing countries, such as the Republic of Serbia. Unfortunately, the crisis created by the proclamation of the pandemic, which the world is facing, deepened the problems and further hampered the entrepreneurial energy of young business people. On the other hand, the difficult functioning and business in a crisis situation, pointed to new potentials of digital technologies and opened a window into the world of business with the help of social networking platform tools, primarily Instagram, which are more efficient but also significantly cheaper than traditional marketing methods. In the digital environment, with the help of visual communication, electronic word of mouth and adequate selection of credible influencers on social net-works, companies are able to communicate directly and indirectly with the target market and influence their attitudes towards brands and their purchasing decisions.

The modern oil and gas industry is heavily dependent on the processes and trends driven by the accelerating digitalization of the economy. Thus, the digitalization of the oil and gas sector has become Russia’s top priority, which involves a technological and structural transformation of all production processes and stages.Aim. The presented study aims to identify the major trends and prospects of development of the Russian oil and gas sector in the context of its digitalization and formation of the digital economy.Tasks. The authors analyze the major trends in the development of the oil and gas industry at a global scale and in Russia with allowance for the prospects of accelerated exploration of the Arctic; determine the best practices of implementation of digital technologies by oil and gas companies as well as the prospects and obstacles for the subsequent transfer of digital technologies to the Russian oil and gas industry.Methods. This study uses general scientific methods, such as analysis, synthesis, and scientific generalization.Results. Arctic hydrocarbons will become increasingly important to Russia in the long term, and their exploration and production will require the implementation of innovative technologies. Priority directions for the development of many oil and gas producers will include active application of digital technologies as a whole (different types of robots that could replace people in performing complex procedures), processing and analysis of big data using artificial intelligence to optimize processes, particularly in the field of exploration and production, processing and transportation. Digitalization of the oil and gas sector is a powerful factor in the improvement of the efficiency of the Russian economy. However, Russian companies are notably lagging behind in this field of innovative development and there are problems and high risks that need to be overcome to realize its potential for business and society.Conclusions. Given the strategic importance of the oil and gas industry for Russia, its sustainable development and national security, it is recommendable to focus on the development and implementation of digital technologies. This is crucial for the digitalization of long-term projection and strategic planning, assessment of the role and place of Russia and its largest energy companies in the global market with allowance for a maximum number of different internal and external factors.

Cervical cancer (CC) is the second leading cause of cancer death in women aged 20–39 years. Persistent infection with oncogenic types of human papillomavirus (HPV) represents the most important risk factor for the development of cervical cancer. Three HPVs vaccines are currently on the global market: bivalent, quadrivalent, and nonavalent. The nonavalent vaccine provides protection against almost 90% of HPV-related CC. Despite availability of primary and secondary prevention measures, CC persists as one of the most common cancers among women around the world. Although CC is a largely preventable disease, management of persistent or recurrent CC no longer amenable to control with surgery or radiation therapy has not improved significantly with the progress of modern chemotherapy and disseminated carcinoma of the cervix remains a discouraging clinical entity with a 1-year survival rate between 10% and 15%. Over the last few years, there has been increasing interest in immunotherapy as a strategy to fight tumors. This article focuses on recent discoveries about the HPV vaccine and immunotherapies in the prevention and treatment of CC, highlighting the future view.

To understand the distinctiveness of ports under state socialism, it is necessary to shift the focus from the built environment to flows of people, goods, knowledge and capital. In so doing, this article examines the operation of Yugoslavia's main shipping line, Jugolinija, from its inception in 1947 until 1960. This enterprise was based in the port of Rijeka, with both firm and port experiencing rapid growth during this period. The impact of state socialism can be seen in the primacy of the political over the profitability of the firm, with Jugolinija used to advance Yugoslavia's foreign trade and foreign policy, its interests being subordinated to the project of building self-managed socialism. It can also be seen in the unique challenges posed by having to operate at the intersection of the global market and a highly regulated economy – a situation that also created opportunities for the firm as a whole, as well as for its employees, who had access to foreign currency, travel and knowledge of the world. Jugolinija's privileged access to the world in what was still very much a closed society also created opportunities for ‘leaks’ of personnel and goods. Finally, socialist ideology left its imprint on Jugolinija's operations and shaped the ways in which its employees understood their work and the place of the firm within the Yugoslav economy. While it is tempting to see state socialism as ‘getting in the way’ of Jugolinija's business, in actuality the firm was remarkably successful both at operating within the Yugoslav socialist state framework, and capitalizing on the opportunities provided by access to the global market. Jugolinija's employees, in turn, profited from the mobility that came with working for the firm, sometimes at the expense of the enterprise and the state.
