This study examines the influence of receivables on liquidity at PT. Graha Tumarima. Sukabumi City for 5 years, with a sampling technique using a purposive sample in the form of financial statement data from 2010 to 2014 using a table of trade receivables and company liquidity. In this study, researchers refer to the theory of Bambang Riyanto (2008: 94) as the connecting theory of the title. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship and influence between receivables and liquidity at PT. Graha Tumarima. The research design uses the method of exposing the facto, the method of data collection aims to test the hypothesis by using correlation analysis, determination, regression and hypothesis testing with t-test. The results of this study show the influence of receivables on liquidity is shown by the value of r = 0.888, meaning that receivables have a very strong relationship to liquidity. The nature of the relationship is positive, meaning that if the value of cooperative credit is higher the liquidity will be higher. Conversely, if the value of receivables decreases, liquidity will decrease. The magnitude of the influence of receivables on liquidity is shown by the value of R Square / Determination Coefficient of 0.789 or 78.9% thus the receivables have an effect of 78.9% on cooperative liquidity. Hypothesis testing uses the t test, that t arithmetic = 3.347 while t table = 3.182 means t arithmetic> t table. Means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. There is an influence between the receivables on liquidity at PT. Graha Tumarima, Sukabumi City

This paper studies the relationship between operational costs and state ownership in Indian railways between 1874 and 1912. We find the move to state ownership significantly decreased working expenses. The cost declines are not driven by anticipation effects, changes in reporting standards, or long run trends. Rather, the evidence suggests the colonial Government of India reduced operational costs by cutting labor costs. Our surprising results can be explained by the undemocratic colonial nature of the Government of India, a fiscal system heavily reliant on railways for revenues, and a regulatory environment under private ownership that weakened incentives to lower costs. The trash disposal system, using standard trash bags, has been adopted by the government of the Republic of Korea (ROK) for more than two decades. This has caused a sanitary problem, as well as some secondary pollution. It is possible to solve this problem by deploying more manpower, but considering the manpower and maintenance costs that impose a heavy burden on the local governments who are experiencing tight financial situations, it would not be feasible. Thus, an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Smart Trash Separation Bin model that can reduce the cost of trash separation work has been proposed in this paper. The three efficient designs that respectively use a sensor, image processing, or spectroscope technology are presented. These IoT-based designs can bring significant merit to reducing the manpower costs, as well as the administrative cost involved.

Obtaining information about the knowledge and awareness of the risk of pesticide use among farmers is essential to reduce the risk to the environment and health. This study aims to measure the level of knowledge of the risk of pesticide use to the environment and health, the level of awareness of pesticide use and to evaluate the relationship between both sociodemographic and knowledge factors toward awareness of pesticide use. The study was conducted among 360 farmers from Pulau Pinang. The results showed that the farmers’ level of awareness on pesticide use was moderate, although their level of knowledge on the risks of pesticide use to the environment and health was high. Farmers higher awareness of the prohibition of using harmful pesticides but the awareness level on how to dispose of used pesticide containers was low. This is driven by the factor of moderate knowledge of the existence of pesticide residue. There is a strong relationship of awareness with the educational factor, a moderate relationship for the area of paddy field factor, and also for the experience factor. There is also significant moderate relationship for knowledge on the risks of pesticide use to the environment and health with awareness. The government should emphasize furthering the educational program, the management and safe operating procedures for pesticides, and giving incentives to farmers who lack knowledge and experience, especially to younger farmers, as well as reducing environmental taxes and giving an incentive to farmers who cultivate paddy fields on a large scale.
