Objective. To analyze the current trends in the development of team sports taking into account the influence of globalization processes in high performance sport. Methods. Analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature and data on the Internet; pedagogical observations; and expert assessments. Results. The features of the evolution of team sports in the context of globalization of high performance sport are reviewed and examined based on the influence of the following factors: migration of the athletes and their concentration in national and international leagues, and sports training centers; professionalization and commercialization of national and international official competitions; politicization of official international competitions; socialization of athletes and informatization of society. The current trends in the development of team sports are identified on the basis of the data of expert assessments taking into account the influence of globalization processes in high performance sport. Possible ways are outlined to address the topical issues of the development of team sports in Ukraine and to overcome the critical situation of non-compliance with the international level combined with the existing high potential and victorious traditions of the past taking into account the knowledge accumulated by experts and the need for an appropriate interpretation of the existing experience of foreign countries. Conclusion. Increasing trends in popularity of team sports are revealed and significant influence of processes of globalization are emphasized on the basis of its leading factors. The analysis of the characteristics of the sports globalization and the results of the expert assessment make it possible to conclude that modern professional sport has undergone drastic changes. Its further progressive development is possible only taking into account the recognition of the existing influence of global factors and requires the modified approaches to build a multi-year training system, the appropriate scientific justification, and legal support provided by the governmental bodies. This will allow to develop sound practical technologies for creating educational-training and competitive processes in order to overcome the existing imbalance in team sports between winning traditions of the past and disappointing results at the current time. Keywords: migration, concentration, professionalization, commercialization, politicization, socialization, informatization.

The relevance of the research is that current trends in the development of Olympic combat sports require a constant search for ways to improve the tactical skills of athletes of different ages and qualifications. The purpose of the study is to identify and characterize the technologies of tactical training in modern combat sports. Research methods and material. Theoretical analysis, documentary method, generalization of literature data and the Internet allowed us to identify the problematic field of tactical training in martial arts and formulate a research hypothesis. Later, an expert assessment was conducted with the involvement of forty experts in modern Olympic combat sports to determine their attitude to the implementation of tactical training of athletes at various stages of long-term improvement. The generalization of the experts' answers allowed us to determine the tactical training technologies used in the training process of athletes of different experience. Research results. Technologies of tactical training of athletes that can be applied at different levels (general pedagogical, stage and local) have been identified. The most sought after in modern Olympic martial arts is pattern technology with elements of modification using a variety of tools – 55.00% of experts (n=40) supported its use. Other technologies are applied by a narrower circle of specialists: variant, with various tools – 30.00% of specialists; template with modification elements with limited range of tools – 7.50%; template, without modification, with limited range of tools – 2.50%; template-variant, with various tools – 5.00%. Conclusions. The universal technology of athletes’ tactical training, relevant for modern martial arts, is a template with modifying elements, which provides the use of various tools. Other technologies (variable, template without modification, template and variable) are in demand for a narrow circle of specialists. Keywords: combat sports, tactics, skills, stages, methods.

Abstract The present paper is founded on two pillars. Firstly, it is one of the current trends in education worldwide, i.e. to connect theory and practice. Secondly, it is the need to be interculturally competent speakers of a foreign language in today’s globalized world of massive migration flows and signs of increasing ethnocentrism. Based upon these two requirements, the ability to communicate in a FL effectively and interculturally appropriately in the tourism industry is a must, since being employed in whichever of its sectors means encountering other cultures on a daily basis. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to find out undergraduate tourism students’ opinion on the importance of intercultural communicative competences for their future profession as well as their self-assessment in the given field. The findings of the research, which are to be compared to employers’ needs, revealed that there is considerable difference between the respondents’ views on the significance of the investigated issues and their self-esteem.

This article discusses the application of methods to enhance the knowledge of experts to build a decision-making model based on the processing of physical data on the real state of the environment. Environmental parameters determine its ecological state. To carry out research in the field of expert assessment of environmental conditions, the analysis of known works in this field is carried out. The results of the analysis made it possible to justify the relevance of the application of analytical, stochastic models and models based on methods of enhancing the knowledge of experts — experts. It is concluded that the results of using analytical and stochastic objects are inaccurate, due to the complexity and poor mathematical description of the objects. The relevance of developing information support for an expert assessment of environmental conditions is substantiated. The difference of this article is that based on the analysis of the application of expert methods for assessing the state of the environment, a fuzzy logic adoption model and information support for assessing the environmental state of the environment are proposed. The formalization of the parameters of decision-making models using linguistic and fuzzy variables is considered. The formalization of parameters of decision-making models using linguistic and fuzzy variables was considered. The model’s description of fuzzy inference is given. The use of information support for environment state assessment is shown on the example of experts assessing of the land desertification stage.

Travellers have high standards and regard restaurants as important travel attributes. In the tourism and hospitality industry, the use of developed tools (e.g., smartphones and location-based tablets) has been popularised as a way for travellers to easily search for information and to book venues. Qualitative research using semi-structured interviews based on the face-to-face approach was adopted for this study to examine how consumers’ restaurant selection processes are performed with the utilisation of social media on smartphones. Then, thematic analysis was adopted. The findings of this research show that the adoption of social media on smartphones is positively related with consumers’ gratification. More specifically, when consumers regard that process, content and social gratification are satisfied, their intention to adopt social media is fulfilled. It is suggested by this study that consumers’ restaurant decision-making process needs to be understood, as each stage of the decision-making process is not independent; all the stages of the restaurant selection process are organically connected and influence one another.

Inappropriate and ineffective weather-related decision making continues to account for a significant proportion of general aviation fatalities in the United States and elsewhere. This study details the evaluation of a computer-based training system that was developed to provide visual pilots with the skills necessary to recognize and respond to the cues associated with deteriorating weather conditions during flight. A total of 66 pilots were assigned to one of two groups, and the evaluation process was undertaken at both a self-report and performance level. At the self-report level, the results suggested that pilots were more likely to use the cues following exposure to the training program. From a performance perspective, there is evidence to suggest that cue-based training can improve the timeliness of weather-related decision making during visual flight rules flight. Actual or potential applications of this research include the development of computer-based training systems for fault diagnosis in complex industrial environments.

The study was conducted as an empirical test of the model of mental development proposed by Ya.A. Ponomarev, who showed that the ability to act “in the mind” is one of the most important indicators of the overall development of the human psyche. Within the framework of these ideas, a comparative analysis of the features of time planning by first-year students of one of the Moscow universities of low (10 people) and high (10 people) levels of development of the ability to act “in the mind” through expert assessments of teachers of this university (40 people) protocols of students’ responses is carried out. As a result of the expert assessment, it was shown that with a low level of development of the ability to act “in the mind”, it is more difficult to systematically achieve the set life goals, plan your future based on a logical calculation. The study raises the question of the possible connection between “theory and practice” when taking into account the personal characteristics associated with a certain stage of the development of the ability to act “in the mind”, raises the question of the desirability of psychological support for a teenager when, due to the low level of development of this ability, planning for the future is difficult. It is postulated that if a practical psychologist provides such support in adolescence, practical psychology will be able to really influence the life path of a growing personality.
