The relevance of the research is that current trends in the development of Olympic combat sports require a constant search for ways to improve the tactical skills of athletes of different ages and qualifications. The purpose of the study is to identify and characterize the technologies of tactical training in modern combat sports. Research methods and material. Theoretical analysis, documentary method, generalization of literature data and the Internet allowed us to identify the problematic field of tactical training in martial arts and formulate a research hypothesis. Later, an expert assessment was conducted with the involvement of forty experts in modern Olympic combat sports to determine their attitude to the implementation of tactical training of athletes at various stages of long-term improvement. The generalization of the experts' answers allowed us to determine the tactical training technologies used in the training process of athletes of different experience. Research results. Technologies of tactical training of athletes that can be applied at different levels (general pedagogical, stage and local) have been identified. The most sought after in modern Olympic martial arts is pattern technology with elements of modification using a variety of tools – 55.00% of experts (n=40) supported its use. Other technologies are applied by a narrower circle of specialists: variant, with various tools – 30.00% of specialists; template with modification elements with limited range of tools – 7.50%; template, without modification, with limited range of tools – 2.50%; template-variant, with various tools – 5.00%. Conclusions. The universal technology of athletes’ tactical training, relevant for modern martial arts, is a template with modifying elements, which provides the use of various tools. Other technologies (variable, template without modification, template and variable) are in demand for a narrow circle of specialists. Keywords: combat sports, tactics, skills, stages, methods.

Purpose: to develop a methodology for improving the technical preparedness of athletes during the transition to pankration from another sport. Materials and methods. The following generally accepted methods were used in the work: analysis of scientific and methodological literature and Internet sources, surveys of qualified specialists - trainers in pankration. Results: based on the analysis of scientific and methodological literature and Internet sources, it was found that pankration includes the technique of various types of martial arts (boxing, kickboxing, Thai boxing, freestyle wrestling, sambo, judo), equally combining wrestling and percussion techniques. Today in our country there is a low level of scientific and methodological support of the training process for modern pankration, while the growing popularity of this sport requires further improvement of methods of training. At the same time, today, as a rule, qualified and highly qualified athletes in pankration are formed from athletes who have moved from another type of martial arts and had different levels of training. With the help of a survey of qualified specialists - coaches, the aspects of the preparation of athletes of other sports during the transition to pankration were revealed. The main features in the preparation of athletes of other sports during the transition to pankration are highlighted: the implementation of protective actions to other sports; performing attacking actions, which allows you to get an early victory in a duel; performing counterattacking actions while performing attacking actions in other sports. Conclusions. Pankration includes techniques of various types of combat sports (boxing, kickboxing, Thai boxing, freestyle wrestling, sambo, judo), equally combining wrestling and impact sports techniques. The developed methods provided for the implementation of exercises of various technical orientation (impact sports and wrestling) in two blocks of exercises. The main means of our methodology for athletes with basic sports, wrestling, were: stances, movements, strikes, running exercises, flexibility exercises and breathing exercises. For athletes whose basic sport was shock, the following exercises were proposed: wrestling stance, movements, throws, sweeps, holds, wrestling in the clinch, wrestling on the ground, passes to the legs, painful holds, suffocation. Keywords: pankration, methods, technique, improvement, various types of martial arts

Background: Technical-tactical training has been shown to be relevant to performance in a competition. In this regard, several studies have analysed the efficiency of technical-tactical dynamics in combat sports. However, these researchers have mainly focused on technical efficiency, and therefore more research is needed regarding tactical efficiency. Furthermore, to the best of our knowledge, there are no published experiential studies on Ultimate Full Contact. Objective: This brief review will analyse the theoretical basis of technical-tactical behaviour for training application in Ultimate Full Contact, characterising the modality under cognitive and dynamic-ecological approaches. This knowledge can be transferred and applied to similar modalities, such as Pankration, Free Fight, Shooto, and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Conclusion: The theoretical technical-tactical knowledge created through competition is essential because it is the only way that improvement in the training process can occur. Ultimate Full Contact is characterised as a combat sport of special complexity and intermitent intensity, where the technical-tactical factors are decisive for the performance while the physical component can be a conditioning factor. A careful regulation between technical-tactical training load and physiological load is essential to obtain adjustable adaptations. Both cognitive and dynamic-ecological approaches should be considered based on the respective training models.

Paradoxically, economic slowdown has been one of the major current trends alongside with intensive technology development. Changes in nature of production require employees to acquire qualitatively different skills that were not were not previously needed. In particular, one of them is being able to provide diffusion of innovations. Consequently, investment in human capital is gaining a new meaning, the quality of which contributes to long-term economic growth in modern socioeconomic reality. Investing is being implemented on different levels, starting from an individual and all the way to a company or a government. Every entity plays their own special role in the process of achieving the common goal of improving the quality of human capital. Investing in entities from different levels requires different tools, mechanisms and involves different kinds of risks for investors. Benefits gained from human capital don’t only belong to investors but also take the form of positive externalities.

Being at a high level of sports form, some athletes who specialize in Martial Arts cannot cope with negative emotions, which leads to a decrease in their athletic performance. In the competitive and post-competitive periods there are sharp negative emotional shifts, so most athletes who specialize in Martial Arts, in particular Sambo wrestling (sports and combat sections) unable to normalize their condition, so the psychologist, as well as the coach – must support the athlete during the formation and development of his self-regulation in terms of many years of training. As a result of theoretical research, members of the research group developed a program of mental self-regulation of Sambo fighters (combat section) in the system of their annual training cycle. The program developed by us provides consideration of features of the organization of educational and training process of sportsmen who specialize in Martial Arts at various stages of an annual cycle of their preparation, namely: preparatory period (general-preparatory and special-preparatory stages) – formation of a positive and active attitude to the development and self-improvement of self-regulation skills in different conditions of long-term training of athletes specializing in Martial Arts, development and improvement of mental functions that underlie the provision of self- regulation of Sambo fighters (combat section); competitive stage – training of combat sambo wrestlers to manage their own consciousness aimed at achieving maximum sports results, increasing the emotional stability of combat Sambo wrestlers; transitional stage – restoration (stabilization) of mental and psychophysical levels of combat Sambo wrestlers. Prospects for further research in the chosen direction of scientific intelligence include testing the program of mental self- regulation of Sambo fighters (combat section) in the system of their annual training cycle.
