Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a disease whose prevalence is not infectious increases with changes in lifestyle. If not managed properly, it will cause various complications that reduce quality of life, increase morbidity and mortality, and harm the economy. The success of DM management is strongly influenced by the patient's adherence to medication and diet. One of the interventions to improve the adherence of DM sufferers is Behavior Therapy with modeling techniques. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of behavioral therapy with modeling techniques on changes in adherence of DM patients. The design of this study was quasy-experimental with pretest posttest and control group, on a sample of 40 DM patients with consecutive sampling technique. The intervention was carried out in 4 sessions for 2 weeks. The results of the statistical test paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test obtained p <0.5 (0.000), which meant that there was an effect of behavioral therapy with modeling techniques on changes in adherence DM patient. Changes in compliance that occurred between before and after the intervention was 16.95 points. Modeling technique is behavioral learning through observation of a model who has successfully controlled his illness to emphasize changes in mindset, beliefs, and commitment to a person's new positive behavior. Modeling has an impact not only on imitating, but also adding or subtracting the observed behavior, so that it can be applied to obtain new behavior, leave old negative behavior, and maintain the desired behavior.

Traffic accidents are one of the public health problems that affect all sectors of life. The phenomenon of traffic accidents so far has not received much public attention as a cause of death. The increase in mortality rates that occur on the highway is very high and quite a concern and vigilance for the community. This usually happens one of them because the Indonesian people do not know how to help victims who are good and right when finding victims. As a result most of actions is wrong, so  it can add to injury and  death. This study aims to determine the effect of basic life support (BLS) training on the motivation and demeanour of class XI students in rescuing  traffic accidents in SMA Negeri 2 Tenggarong. This study uses a quasy experimental method of pre and post design with a control group. Proportional stratified random sampling technique with a sample of 78 students and data collection using a questionnaire sheet. Data that was analyzed by paired t test in each group showed a p-value of 0,000 <0.05, meaning that there was a statistically change in motivation and attitude between before and after treatment in the form of BLS training for class XI students at SMAN 2 Tenggarong.  The result is not much different from the independent t test which showed p-value 0,000 <0.05, which means there is a statistically different demeanour between the difference before and after treatment in the form of BLS training in the control and intervention groups. The results showed that there was a statistically significant change in motivation and demeanour between before and after the BLS training was given to the motivation and demeanour of class XI students at SMAN 2 Tenggarong with a p-value of 0,000 <0.05.

Diabetes is a chronic disease that often causes progressive complications in the elderly. Along with the decline in cognitive function in the elderly, it causes dependence on disciplined management of diabetes mellitus. This dependence causes a very important mentoring role to be given. The purpose of this study is to provide knowledge, attitudes, and family skills to care for the elderly with diabetes mellitus at home through the empowerment of elderly cadres in Lampung. This research method is a quasi-experimental research with a control group design with a total of 64 elderly respondents and 64 families selected by simple random sampling technique. The assessment used an instrument for assessing family abilities that the researcher developed included aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. The results of the dependent t-test analysis showed a significant increase in the knowledge and skills variable in the intervention group (0.000) but decreased in the attitude variable with p 0.198. Meanwhile, the increase in value also occurred in the attitude and skill variables in the control group. So that the results of the independent t-test only showed a significant difference in the attitude score (0.000) with the highest score in the control group. So that there is no significant increase in the ability of the family after the implementation of elderly cadres empowerment.
