Introduction. The article contains: analysis of scientific works in the field of higher education pedagogy on the formation of universal competencies; an experimental study to assess the formation of universal competencies in future bachelors. The modern professional pedagogical community constantly demonstrates that the presence of universal competencies is decisive for graduates of higher education. At the moment, there is no clear idea of the formation and assessment of universal competencies, in particular for bachelors of physical education.Materials and Methods. We have developed materials for evaluation the future bachelors of universal competencies and conducted an experimental study. For each of the universal competencies, the average value of the assessment, the standard deviation, the confidence interval for the average assessment are determined, the results of the correlation analysis are presented.Results. The data we obtained showed, that the average values of assessments by future bachelors of the direction of training "Physical culture" of universal competencies (the ability to: maintain the proper level of physical fitness to ensure full social and professional activity; search, critical analysis and synthesis of information, apply a systematic approach to solve the tasks; build an individual trajectory of self-development; perceive the intercultural diversity of society; formulate a range of tasks, achieve goals, choosing the best solutions; the ability to conduct business communication in a foreign language) are within 2.97 points - 3.86 points on a 5-point scale.Discussion and Conclusions. Our study shows that the level of formation of the universal competencies of students of the program 49.03.01 “Physical Education” is insufficient. The formation of universal competencies is possible not only in the educational process, but also in scientific research, industrial practices, as part of extracurricular activities. The formation of universal competencies for future bachelors in the educational process of higher education will help to increase the level of knowledge, skills and experience of creative activity in the professional field: search and critical analysis of information; the ability to set goals and determine the range of tasks; communicate effectively in the teamwork, not only with Russian, but also with foreign colleagues; managing time and shaping individual development path; maintain the necessary level of physical activity to achieve professional and social goals. The results of the assessment of the formation of universal competencies of future bachelors are considered by us as an opportunity to improve the modern basic educational program.

The article identifies scientific and pedagogical tools and content of physical education and basics of health of students in the process of combat horting, reveals guidelines for organizing the educational process of combat horting in higher education and the formation of a healthy lifestyle of student youth. Theoretical analysis of the problem of formation of a healthy way of life of students and conditions of application of improving physical exercises of combat horting is carried out. The implementation of the content of physical education and the basics of student health in the process of combat horting is provided by adequate to the physical activity of students methods of building training sessions. The presentation of the main material is based on the provisions of the National Strategy for the Development of Education in Ukraine, the Concept of National-Patriotic Education of Children and Youth, other guiding state documents on the teaching of the discipline «Physical Education». This requires new views on the planning and implementation of a modern educational process in combat horting and rehabilitation of students of higher education. The purpose of the study is to find out the influence of the motivational component on the training system of physical education students who plan to use health-saving technologies in their professional activities in the physical education of schoolchildren who, for health reasons, belong to special medical groups. Professional education of future specialists in physical education and sports in higher education institutions requires technological changes in physical culture and health work with children and youth, who belong to special medical groups due to their state of health (Prykhoda, 2007). The solution of this direction of training of future specialists in physical education and sports will be more effective if the motivational component of training is applied in the educational process of students. Studies apply the motivational component of learning. Research determines that the use of a motivational component in the training program for future physical education professionals has a much better effect on the learning process of students, mastering the curriculum, self-development, and self-improvement both in higher education and in future professional activities (Dolіnnyj, 2016; Deminska, 2004).

At present, profound changes are taking place in the system of higher education in Russia: goals, strategies, objectives and content of education, as well as the ways of organizing the educational process, are radically changing. One of the priority areas ensuring the transformation of the higher education system is the introduction of network educational programs. The study of the methodological foundations of their design is relevant and necessary today. The research problem: characteristics of network educational programs and methodological foundations of their design to ensure maximum flexibility of the educational trajectory within the framework of network interaction. The purpose of the research is determination of the methodology for constructing effective network educational programs, based on the formation of the student's personality and his practical preparation for future professional activity through individual development. The research methods are critical analysis of pedagogical, psychological and regulatory sources, design, modeling, systematization. The results of the research: changes in the technological, substantive and technical plan in the design of educational programs have been analyzed, the necessity of technological elaboration of psychological and pedagogical support of the educational process has been substantiated for the flexibility of educational programs and the development of individual learning paths; building a competence model of a specialist and strengthening practical training in the implementation of projectbased modular training in the format of network educational programs have been emphasized; the role of motivational behavior of students and teachers has been determined; the principles of network learning have been formulated; the experience of designing and implementing network educational programs at RANEPA and VAVT have been analyzed. Key findings: network education and introduction of flexible educational programs have defined a new methodological platform and architecture for higher education. The analysis of fundamental changes in personal, behavioral and cognitive development of modern youth under the influence of electronic media and their accounting will allow educational organizations of the higher education system to innovatively approach the development of content, learning technologies and to develop new criteria for assessing the quality of education at a university. Designing flexible educational programs in a network format based on the studied methodology provides an opportunity for Russian universities to develop a networked format of education effectively, increase the academic mobility of students and teachers, provide flexibility in the educational path of learning, and significantly raise the prestige of Russian education in the global educational space.

The article reveals the peculiarities of forming students' motivation to exercise. It is established that the formation of motivation for exercise is a complex systemic process that includes many components. One of the indicators of students' health is their motivation to exercise. Exercise is an element that closely connects all aspects of personality in the process of development and formation. The main task of physical education in the educational process is to preserve the health of students, the development of skills necessary for the formation of a competitive specialist. The article focuses on the motivation to exercise not only during the educational process, but also in everyday life, and also substantiates the importance of physical activity for the normal functioning of the human body. Theoretical knowledge and practical experience gained during physical culture and sports practice form a personality's outlook in the field of physical culture and the need for it. The spectrum of these needs is quite wide: this is the need for movement and physical activity, for communication, contacts and spending free time with friends; in games, emotional relaxation, self-affirmation, strengthening the position of one's “I”, in cognition and in physical improvement. Mastering the knowledge system helps to form the need for physical exercises. It also allows students to independently use the means of physical culture, providing adequate self-esteem and self-control. The search for methods of increasing motivation for physical education, it is motivation that is an integral component of successful physical culture and sports activity. Preserving and strengthening the health of the student body will prepare competent specialists who are ready for productive and long-term professional activity.

This article reveals the state of development of the pedagogical phenomenon, carried out a theoretical analysis of the provisions of national and international educational documents, which allowed determining the purpose, objectives, content and structure of professional training of future teachers of physical education. As a result of the logical-semantic analysis of the conceptual-categorical apparatus the basic categories of research are revealed: "professional activity", "professional activity of the future teacher of physical culture", "interaction". The content analysis is carried out and the basic definitions are offered: "competence", "interactive competence".The concept of interactive competence is revealed in the research. It is interpreted as a professional integral quality of personality, which is manifested in its ability to interpersonal communication, presupposes its ability to intensify activities within intersubjective interaction and determines its readiness for continuous individual development a set of knowledge, skills, experience of tactful and equal communication under the created comfortable creative conditions of interaction. The professional training of a future physical education teacher is a complex multifaceted system, which is aimed at obtaining and developing a sufficient level of competence for productive professional activity in the process of higher education and practical activities.

The article discusses the ways of professional training of teachers of physical culture of the New Ukrainian school using innovative technologies in the system of continuous education and experimentally tested the effectiveness of the use of innovative teaching technologies in refresher courses for primary school teachers who teach physical culture. Fundamentally new conceptual ideas and provisions for the modernization of education require a reorientation of the simulation of the professional training of the teacher of physical culture for the search and development of new, innovative ways of developing the education system, the formation of a truly new pedagogical thinking in the pedagogical environment at all levels of pedagogical activity. It will provide an educational area of mobility, accelerate its renewal, and eliminate the inertia inherent in centrally managed systems. At the same time, in order to prevent the destructive and destructive impact of innovations, it is important to intensify their comprehension, modeling, social selection and accelerate the processes of approbation, verification and selection of pedagogical innovations. In our study, the professional training of the teacher of physical education in primary education in the system of continuous education is defined as a set of interrelated factors, which subordinates all types and forms of the educational process and corresponds to the purpose of teacher training for pedagogical activities, provides a continuous and consistent influence on the professionalism of teachers, aimed at acquiring them new knowledge, skills and abilities, personal and professional qualities necessary for the successful leadership of the physical education of young people s students. The readiness of teachers of physical culture for professional activity is an integral education, which includes knowledge, skills, professionally meaningful qualities, pedagogical abilities and consists of the following components: motivational, cognitive, operational and reflexive. It is determined that simulation of the professional training of primary school teachers who teach physical culture at the New Ukrainian School will be effective under the following conditions: ensuring the improvement of the educational process; development of teachers’ competence.

The analysis of theoretical and practical lessons in the discipline of physical education and profiling physical training of students in higher education institutions of Ukraine shows that physical exercises and training regimes are considered from the point of view of increasing the level of physical fitness and physical development of students in the educational process of physical education. In the educational process of higher education institutions of Ukraine in the discipline of physical education are considered such tasks as: formation of personal and physical qualities, preparation for future professional activity, promotion of the proper formation of a healthy lifestyle and promotion of health, ensuring a high level of special professional capacity for work the whole period of study. Physical education in the process of education in higher education institutions of Ukraine are of great importance in the future professional activity of the civic environment. The essence and task of profile physical training is to reduce adaptation to future professional activity, increase the level of special professional capacity, stress resistance to unfavorable conditions of professional activity, promote prevention of occupational diseases, eliminate psychological fatigue in working day mode, promote emotional state.

The article describes the peculiarities of the process of students' adaptation to studying at a higher education institution, emphasizes the relevance of this problem in the context of the issue of training highly qualified specialists capable of effective work in the specialty at the level of world standards, ready for continuous professional improvement and personal development. The paper emphasized that the period of adaptation is a particularly important stage of studying at a higher education institution. It is particularly relevant when higher education students adapt to the content and nature of the educational process, in the period of adoption of norms and requirements of the new social environment, inclusion in the system of interpersonal relations, formation of a system of personal orientations, values, necessary for professional activity. The relationship between students' academic success and their level of adaptation to studying at a higher education institution has been identified. The results of an experimental study are presented, where the main factors of adaptation of higher education students, affecting their activity and academic success, are identified. Among these factors, the authors singled out magnitude of educational and extracurricular workload, working capacity during the school day and week, health condition, manifestation of various signs of fatigue, self-efficacy, motivation to learning, relationships with classmates and teachers, social frustration. The researchers stressed that the first-year students' adaptation period is different, depending on their individual and psychological characteristics, the level of readiness to study at a higher education institution, the correct choice of the future profession. On the basis of the results of the experimental study, the ways and directions of successful students' adaptation are determined, which foresees, first of all, the reduction of the impact of maladaptation factors on higher education students, increase in their resistance to these factors and strengthening of those factors that are favorable to them.

It has been established, that the training of future physical culture specialists for health preservation of students in the context of the development of education in Ukraine is characterized by active innovative shifts, associated with the formation of the content of new higher education, in connection with which its purpose is expanding and changing. Health preservation and health-preserving technologies constitute one of the most promising educational systems. It has been determined, that today the development of a comprehensive program of a higher educational institution is urgent, which would allow solving problems of creating conditions, conducive to preservation and strengthening of health; introduction of a methodology, principles and methods of health-preserving education, software and hardware tools for monitoring, shaping, developing and maintaining the health of participants in the educational process; control over the observance of legislative and regulatory legal acts, regulating the activities of an educational institution on the issues of health preservation.  It is believed, that health-preserving activity of physical culture specialists is a set of actions, operations and procedures that functionally and technologically ensure the achievement of a result in maintaining and strengthening health. We understand health-preserving activity as a professional property, which expresses the degree of assimilation of social experience in the field of ensuring education and health of students by means of physical culture by a future specialist, as well as the ability to use this experience in professional activity. The most significant structural components of the readiness of future physical culture specialists for health preservation of students have been revealed, namely: motivational and creative components. The levels of the readiness of the subjects for the motivational, cognitive, activity, creative and organizational and educational aspects have been determined

The article is devoted to the problem of professional training of future specialists in physical culture and sports in the conditions of distance learning in universities. It is noted that the professional training of future specialists in physical culture and sports in the context of distance learning in universities on the basis of a systematic approach is an extremely acute problem in today's conditions. It is determined that when organizing distance learning for future specialists in physical education and sports, the specifics of their professional activity must be taken into account, in particular, taking into account the fact that the educational process with its future pupils (students, young athletes) can also be carried out remotely in a pandemic, or any other circumstances. It is established that when developing a system of professional training of future specialists in physical culture and sports in the conditions of distance learning in universities it is necessary to take into account that the relevant specialists must master a set of methodological competencies, which will allow to carry out extremely difficult process of professional activity in the conditions of distance learning with the pupils.
