The study aims to find out: (1) the needs analysis of Islamic-based sosiodrama models to improve prosocial behavior of students at Wahdah Makassar Middle School; (2) the prototype development of Islamic-based sosiodrama model to improve prosocial behavior of students at Wahdah Makassar Middle School; and (3) the validity and practicality of Islamic-based sociodrama models to improve prosocial behavior of students at Wahdah Makassar Middle School. The research approach was research and development (R&D). The research subjects consisted of 9 eighth graders at Wahdah Middle School in the 2019/2020 academic year. Data collection used interviews, documentation, and scale. Qualitative and quantitative data were analyzed. The results of the study showed that: (1) Islamic-based sociodrama models are needed at Wahdah Makassar Middle School; (2) Islamic-based sociodrama models are produced as guidance for counselors in improving students’ prosocial behavior; and (3) Islamic-based sociodrama models to improve prosocial behavior of students at Wahdah Makassar Middle School are declared valid and practical as a guide to Islamic-based sociodrama models based on accreditability testing, which includes: utility, feasibility, accuracy and content.

This paper describes enhancement in teacher performance in implementing the learning process, after academic supervision is carried out. Transformation in the form of attendance, fulfillment of work tools, time discipline, use of media, and teaching skills are indicators of this. The method used for research is qualitative with quantitative data collection and analysis techniques, and Classroom Action Research approach. The number of teachers used as a sample was 20 people, and the results obtained showed that after the research was carried out in cycle I and cycle II, a total of 85% sampled for 10 aspects of the assessment increased their performance. This data shows the achievement of the successful implementation of supervisory academic supervision of PAIBP teachers.

The study entitled "Improving teacher competence in preparing syllabus and lesson plans through ongoing academic supervision in SMP (Public Middle Schools) Negeri 2 Sabang" raised the issue of whether through continuous academic supervision it can improve teacher competence in preparing syllabi and lesson plans. This study aims to improve the competence of teachers in Sabang 2 Public Middle School in preparing syllabus and lesson plans. The subjects of this study were teachers of Sabang 2 Public Middle School in the 2016/2017 academic year, totaling 13 teachers, consisting of 10 PNS teachers and 3 non PNS teachers. The method used is the school action research method. Data collection is done by test and observation techniques. The study was conducted in 2 cycles. In the first cycle 31% of teachers obtained the appropriate syllabus and lesson plan and were considered good and in cycle 2 there were 100% of teachers who had syllabus and lesson plans that were appropriate and considered good. The conclusion of this research is that through ongoing academic supervision scientifically proven to improve teacher competence in preparing syllabus and lesson plans.

The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in numeracy skills of 0-10 through the Abacus Media for Group B children in Integrated PAUD Nagallo Marannu, Puncak Jaya Regency, Academic Year 2017/2018. This research was conducted on group B children, amounting to 16 people. This research is an action research with the method of Kemmis and Taggart which consists of 4 stages, namely (plan, act, observe and reflect). This study consisted of 2 cycles, each of which consisted of 3 meetings. Data collection techniques using observation, field notes, and documentation. Data analysis using quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative data analysis was performed with statistical descriptions to compare pre-cycle to cycle II. Qualitative analysis is carried out by analyzing data from observations, field notes and verified documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in the ability to count numbers 0-10 through the abacus media with a score in the pre-cycle of 46.35% increasing to 66.66% in the first cycle and an increase of 82.29 in the second cycle with the very well developed category.

With the rapid advancement of online survey tools, research collaboration tools, communication platforms, and statistical analysis tools, the Delphi method is an increasingly popular research approach to gain insight from experts into complex problems or when future-oriented planning is required. This chapter focuses on practical considerations and implications for practice when conducting studies online using the Delphi method. Practical logistics for the management of online Delphi studies explored in this chapter include preparing for a successful study, designing communication strategies, addressing technological considerations, and handling of qualitative and quantitative data.

In this article the status of teaching as a profession and the morale of teachers in Australian schools in the current era provide a framework for the examination of the intent and outcomes of teaching excellence awards. The research study applied an interpretive research paradigm and used both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. The methodology and the theoretical framework were based on organisational and sociological paradigms. Data informing the study were collected from 44 award recipients and 57 of their colleagues between the years 2000 and 2002. Documentation relating to the promotion and process of awards was also examined. The introduction of teaching excellence awards into the school education sector is found to be a reflection of the economic era in which the current education system is situated. The paper concludes that the awards process may be potentially politically manipulative.

<p><em>This study</em><em> aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes about money in class III semester I SDN 4 Mangin, Karangrayung District, Grobogan Regency, 2017/2018 academic year through toy money media and the application of Jigsaw learning m</em><em>ethod</em><em>. The research subjects were grade 3 students at SDN 4 Mangin, totaling 14 students. The research design is classroom action research consisting of two cycles. Each cycle consists of 2 meetings. Data collection techniques using evaluation in the form of assignments, worksheets and evaluation questions. While the data analysis includes qualitative data and quantitative data. Learning outcomes from the pre-cycle were obtained, from 14 students, only 5 students (36%) had reached the mastery target with a minimum score of 65. In the first cycle, classical completeness was 71%. While in the second cycle of 100%. These results indicate that the application of the Jigsaw method using toy money media can improve mathematics learning outcomes for grade 3 students at SDN 4 Mangin.</em></p>

AbstrakSebagian besar guru tidak memperhatikan kemampuan pemahaman matematis tetapi hanya terfokus pada hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah 25 siswa kelas IX2 SMP Negeri 1 Kampar Timur. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu tes dan wawancara. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa berkemampuan sedang dan rendah masih kurang, sedangkan siswa berkemampuan tinggi sudah cukup baik. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memberikan contoh dan bukan contoh dari konsep serta kesulitan dalam mengaitkan berbagai konsep karena tidak memahami konsep dan hanya menghapal rumusnya. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa berkemampuan sedang dan rendah, dalam menyampaikan konsep guru sebaiknya menyertakan contoh dan bukan contoh dari konsep serta memberikan latihan soal-soal tentang mengaitkan berbagai konsep. Analysis of Students’ Ability Mathematical Understanding on the Topic of Curved Side SpaceAbstractMost teachers do not pay attention to the ability of mathematical understanding but only focus on student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine and analyze students' mathematical understanding abilities. This research is qualitative research. The research subjects were 25 IX2 students from East Kampar 1 Middle School. Data collection techniques are tests and interviews. The results of the analysis show that the ability of mathematical understanding of students with moderate and low abilities is still lacking, while high-ability students are good enough. The results of the interview indicate that students have difficulty in giving examples and not examples of concepts and difficulties in relating various concepts because they do not understand the concept and only memorize the formula. To improve the ability of mathematical understanding of students with moderate and low ability, in conveying the concept the teacher should include examples and not examples of concepts and provide training questions about linking various concepts.

This study aimed to determine the family waste management in the planting of environmental care characters for early childhood. The purpose of this study was to explore information about environmental care programs in Kitiran village, family waste management on the inculcation of early childhood environmental character care, and the impact of family waste management on inculcating character care for the environment of early childhood. The research approach used was qualitative descriptive study with the type of phenomenological research. The research subjects were parents who had early childhood, run a family waste management, and the residence is in Kitiran village. Sources of data used were parents who run family waste management, early childhood, public figures who are the originators of environmental care programs in Kitiran village. Data collection techniques used was purposive sampling which had taken by interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity test used was source triangulation and technique triangulation. The data analysis technique used was interactive data analysis consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that Kitiran village had an environmental care program that was integrated with all elements of the community including families waste management activities become routine activities for every family member of the Kitiran village including early childhood. Families there introduced and instilled the character of caring for the environment in children from an early age. Children in their daily lives were involved in every family waste management activity simply. The age of the child and the active role of different parents in the process of inculcating the character of the child's environmental care in waste management made understanding and actions of child waste management different. Research that has been done by building engineering students as a thesis tends to choose a theme that has been widely researched before. This research aims to find out the trends of vocational education research in the field of engineering building including trends of theme research and trends of methodology research. This research used descriptive quantitative research methods with a library research approach. Data collection techniques using documentation. Data analysis techniques are used in content analysis. The results of this study show the trends that have occurred in vocational education research in the field of building engineering in 4 universities, then obtained the trend of vocational education research themes and research methodology trends: 1) The theme of vocational education research in the field of building engineering is in high demand is the theme of teaching and learning with a percentage score of 47%, 2) The research method in demand is Research and Development with a percentage score of 31%, 3) Interesting research subjects are learners with a percentage score of 58%, 4) The data collection technique in demand is a questionnaire with a percentage score of 36%, and 5) The data analysis technique of interest is descriptive statistical analysis with a percentage score of 67%.

This article discusses a group counseling intervention used to develop and foster resiliency in middle school students by implementing the Achieving Success Everyday (ASE) group counseling model. The authors aimed to discover what impact this group counseling intervention, which focused on resiliency characteristics, would have on students’ academic and personal-social success. To evaluate this, the authors used both qualitative and quantitative data. The results showed that some students achieved an increase in their GPA and personal-social functioning following the intervention. The article presents implications for practice and ideas for future research.
