The main mission of modern education - improving the quality, cannot be realized without innovative approaches to the assessment system, without the formation of mechanisms, procedures and technologies for monitoring the educational achievements of students. Federal state educational standards of primary general education of the second generation orient teachers towards the qualitative formation of subject, meta-subject and personal results. Modern teachers successfully diagnose the level of subject and personal achievements of junior schoolchildren, evaluating these universal educational actions. Certain difficulties arise with the assessment of metasubject learning outcomes of schoolchildren. The assessment activity of students, according to the authors, acts as an effective means of forming metasubject competences of younger students, since the mechanisms for diagnosing metasubject educational achievements have not yet been worked out. This scientific work discusses not only modern approaches to assessing metasubject achievements, but also proves that a well-constructed assessment activity can become an effective means of forming metasubject competencies. The authors pay great attention to such methods of assessment activities, which, within the framework of the implementation of the state standard, ensure the flexibility of the educational process, create an opportunity not only for teachers, but also for the students themselves to control and evaluate metasubject results.

The author examines how federal state educational standards of higher education (FSES-HE) and professional standards can be combined. Methods of assessing the effectiveness of students' research activities through the electronic portfolio of students are being developed. The information about the existing forms of organization of research activities of students of bachelor's, specialist's and master's degree programs at the university, the requirements for the effectiveness of research work at each educational level were analyzed. The main result of the work is the positioning of the electronic student portfolio as a modern effective means of monitoring his educational achievements which allow assessing the acquisition of professional competencies by the student, solving the problems of organization, planning, implementation and qualitative/quantitative evaluation of his research activities implemented within the educational process. Pedagogical monitoring is characterized as a modern means of control and evaluating the effectiveness of research activities, ensuring the efficiency and availability of information. The principles of purposefulness and prognostication, objectivity, integrity and continuity, development and self-organization, systematic and consistent implementation of pedagogical monitoring are revealed. The relevance of score-rating evaluation of the effectiveness of research activities of students as the most adequate and demonstrative system for assessing the success of each student in scientific work is substantiated. It is concluded about the stimulating impact on regular pedagogical monitoring of research activities performed through the electronic portfolio of students.

The requirements of the federal state educational standard of primary general education to the content, technologies and methods of the educational process in primary grades are disclosed. Special attention is paid to the characteristics of the system-activity approach, the technologies of primary education (problem-based learning, developmental learning, activity technology, project method, blended learning, etc.) are highlighted. The methods of teaching all the main academic subjects are presented in detail and concretely. Meets the requirements of the federal state educational standards of higher education of the latest generation. Modern challenges of the system of mathematical training of schoolchildren lead to an increase in subject professional deficits of a mathematics teacher. Monitoring the teacher’s professional deficits allows them to be leveled in a timely manner, thereby improving the quality of the educational process. However, the theory and method of identifying them has not been studied much. This makes it possible to state the problem of research, which consists in determining the conceptual basis of the methodology for identifying subject professional deficits of a mathematics teacher. The purpose of the article is to develop a methodology for identifying subject professional deficits of a mathematics teacher. Methodology. The methodological basis of the study was a competent approach as the basis for structuring the professional competencies of a mathematics teacher; a systematic approach as the basis for diagnosing professional deficits of a mathematics teacher; federal state educational standard for higher education in the field of training “Pedagogical education”; professional standard “Teacher (pedagogical activity in the field of preschool, primary general, basic general, secondary general education. Module “Subject training. Mathematics”, the requirements of the federal state educational standard for the mathematical training of students in a general education school). The study used methods of analyzing special literature and normative documents, pedagogical modeling and design, mathematical processing of information. Results of the study. The basic principles of the methodology for identifying subject professional deficits are formulated and substantiated: expediency, diagnosticity, systemicity and advance. Based on these principles, the authors developed a methodology for identifying subject professional deficits of a mathematics teacher. The example shows the main stages and results of diagnosing subject deficits of a mathematics teacher in the field of combinatorics and probability theory.

The main tasks of the Olympiad of diploma projects of the Federal Agency for Railway Transport are to improve the quality of training, develop the creative abilities of students, increase the interest of students and teachers in the development and improvement of the railway industry, and form highly qualified human resources. The practice of participation of branches (structural units) of secondary vocational education of the Irkutsk State Transport University shows that not all indicators can be achieved.The educational process in secondary vocational education is focused on preparing for practical activities in production. In accordance with federal state educational standards for secondary vocational education programs, a student must master general and professional competencies, acquire certain knowledge, skills and practical experience. It is proposed to make a number of changes in the system of evaluating the Olympiad of diploma projects in terms of criteria. The assessment system of the Olympiad must be adapted taking into account the possibilities of secondary vocational education to stimulate the participation of structural units in their conduct.

With the introduction of inclusive education, children with disabilities of various nosological groups (hereinafter referred to as HIA), with absolutely different states of intelligence, are active participants in the educational process. Federal state educational standards of primary general education for students with mental retardation (intellectual disabilities) and children with disabilities are being successfully implemented. Along with others, these regulatory documents guarantee and implement the right of these categories of students for education. And determine whether it will qualify or not. Competent selection and implementation of educational technology teacher for students with disabilities is of paramount importance. It is obvious that at the present stage of development of education it is not enough to form in this category of students only the volume of life competencies. It is necessary to work on a certain amount of the academic component, regardless of the state and depth of the student’s intellectual disability. At the moment, an increase in the requirements for primary general education is recorded. Special Federal state educational standards are developed for primary general education. A number of psychological and pedagogical problems that are associated with the preparation of children with disabilities for further education in the middle level of secondary schools are becoming topical. This problem can be solved by inclusive educational technologies.

The implementation of the requirements of the federal state educational standards of primary general, basic general and secondary general education makes its ownadjustments to the educational process. Today, the formation of metasubject skills, universal educational actions that allow modern schoolchildren to quickly adapt to changing conditions, is becoming valuable. One of these skills is to find, interpret, and evaluate information. An analysis of international studies such as PISA shows that the formation of reading competence among Russian fifteen-year-olds is low. This is due to the fact that schools have weak systematic work with information (for example, there is no work with electronic texts or there is work only with solid texts). To this can be added the disunity of school subjects: each teacher in their professional activities uses their own set of methods and techniques to form the reading literacy of students. The search for technologies and teaching methods aimed at consolidating the efforts of teachers of different academic subjects led to the development of the «Single Text Day» technology and to the «Single Text Day» campaign, the features of which are described in this article. The main goal of the Campaign is the formation and development of schoolchildren’s reading literacy. The article consistently reveals the stages of preparation for the Day of a single Text: from the list of planned results, the description of the subtleties in the selection of the text to the features of the final work to the ways of adapting ready-made materials. It also analyzes the perception of the Day of a single Text by students and teachers who participated in the Campaign.
