Parental support in improving the quality of education services in schools is needed. Awareness of the importance of quality education will help schools as education providers to realize quality education. There is a need for the support of the school committee as a forum for the participation of parents in education. This study wants to describe the implementation of the role and function of the school committee in supporting the improvement of education quality services at SMAN 9 Cirebon City. The data was collected through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The results showed that in general, the school committee of has school carried out all its roles and functions, although not yet optimal. School committees consider more related to school programs that need to be implemented but are not covered by school finances. Communication with alumni is well established and has even been able to contribute to the renovation of the school mosque. Efforts to provide non-financial support are carried out by establishing communication and comparative studies with other schools deemed to have a better quality infrastructure. The results of the comparative study are arranged in a priority program to support the progress of the quality of education services.

The purpose of this study is to see how the form of empowerment of school committees in improving the quality of education especially in elementary schools. The research method used is descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Research findings The existence of a school committee is an important element in improving the quality of school education services, its existence with all the tasks and functions it has can play a role in realizing better quality education services. Efforts to empower school committees are carried out in various ways although they are still not ideal as stated in the regulations related to school committees. In principle, so far the participation of school committee members and the form of empowerment of school committees is still limited to routine meetings and the fulfillment of supporting facilities for student learning facilities that are done voluntarily by school committees. Based on this, the efforts to empower school committees have been made but are still limited to routine agendas that are not yet optimal as the actual duties and functions of school committees.

This article describe about Infrastructure Administration School. Infrastructure is an important component in the education system. Sometimes the community even assesses the quality of education of a school by looking at its infrastructure, schools that have large, classy buildings, equipment, and teaching and learning equipment that are complete and modern are often regarded as quality schools. Although it is not entirely true, it cannot be denied that the success of the Teaching and Learning Process (PBM) is more or less influenced by the condition of educational infrastructure available in the classroom. If the school has complete educational infrastructure, the teacher can carry out learning optimally and students can learn optimally. School infrastructure is an supporting factor that cannot be ignored if you want quality education services.

<p>Educational infrastructure is essential in supporting the improvement of the quality of education in schools. This is because the existence of infrastructure facilities facilitate educational activities so that the educational process in schools is not hampered. Provision and maintenance of infrastructure in schools is the responsibility of all school stakeholders including the school committee. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the influence of school committees in improving the quality of educational facilities in SMK 1 Karangan, East Kutai Regency. By using population techniques, there were 15 research subjects and committee members of the Karangan 1 SMKN East Kutai Regency. The research measure is the scale of the role of the school committee in improving educational infrastructure. The results showed that the influence of the school committee was very important in improving the quality of educational infrastructure, it can be shown from the Tstatistic of 11.756 which was greater than Ttable 2.1788, the value of Fstatistic is 138.389 that was greater than Ftable 4.67, and an R-square value of 0.914 or 91.4%. These results showed that the role of the school committee has a major effect on improving the quality of educational infrastructure.</p>

In effort to improve the quality of education in community, school must be able to establish a good relationship with the surrounding community. This school (SD Muhammadiyah 3 Pandaan) is one of the educational institutions, which does not work alone in facing a problem, but SD Muhammadiyah 3 Pandaan inviting the School Committee as its working partner. The focus of the research is learning how the role and the function of school committee, the effectiveness of learning, school principal leadership, quality culture, the obstacles faced by school committee, and efforts to overcome the obstacles experienced by school committee of SD Muhammadiyah 3 Pandaan in efforts to improve the quality of education. The purpose of this research is to find out the role and function of school committee, learning effectiveness, leadership of school principals, quality culture, obstacles faced by school committee, and efforts to overcome obstacles experienced by school committee of SD Muhammadiyah 3 Pandaan in efforts to improve the quality of education. This research uses a qualitative method with the type of case study. Based on the results of research that the school committee is quite active in carrying out its role and function as a advisory agency, as a supporting agency, as a controlling agency, and as a mediator institution. The effectiveness of learning in SD Muhammadiyah 3 Pandaan is seen in exploratorial learning. The leadership of the Principal of Muhammadiyah 3 Pandaan Elementary School is good enough. The quality culture is reflected in “Kantin Sehat” and “Jum’at Bersih”. Some obstacle experienced are the member performance is not good enough, lack of training from the education office, lack of funding. Efforts in overcoming obstacles include: the establishment of POM (Paguyuban Orangtua Murid), a written proposal to the education office, and establishing a healthy canteen, a pick-up car, and membership fees.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan peran komite sekolah dalam upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara mendalam. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif model Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa disfungsi tugas komite sekolah sebagai penindaklanjut aspirasi masyarakat tidak mempengaruhi turunnya mutu pendidikan di SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta. Hal ini karena perangkat pendidikan SMP Negeri 1 Surakarta sebagai sebuah sistem sosial bersifat otopoietik yang dapat memperbaharui ketidakberfungsian pada salah satu atau beberapa subsistem pendidikan. Since the enactment of decentralization of education, maximizing the role of school and community stakeholders has become very important in supporting the success of the education process in schools. The actualization form of education decentralization is realized by the existence of school committees which are expected to carry out their roles maximally in improving the quality of education. With the aspect seen, namely the role of the school committee as consideration, support, control, and role as mediator, the role is as a form of improving the quality of education in accordance with the mandate stated in the Minister of National Education Decree Number: 044 / U / 2002 dated April 2, 2002 Therefore, with regard to efforts to improve the quality of education, the government has actually issued a policy namely education autonomy. Educational autonomy as a form of education decentralization, gave birth to an important concept for the implementation of education. One of these important concepts is School-Based Management (SBM) which later gave birth to the School Committee as a manifestation of community participation in the world of education. The concept encourages school and community committees to become unified and complementary, and can even provide a color for the formulation of quality in schools. Society is an unequaled educational resource for education units. In community schools can be a foundation for improving and service quality education in the implementation of education.

Abstrak. Human resource development demands from time to time are increasing. Therefore education services must be able to keep up with these developments. Besides family and school, the community has its own role in education. The role of the community in madrasah education must be carried out jointly to improve the quality of education. So the role in education is not only educators but also the community must contribute to improving the quality of education for the betterment of the nation. Therefore, the community has an important role in achieving a quality education goal. Education as a process requires synergy between components and requires an understanding of the vision of all stakeholders involved. Support from the community is very necessary for the implementation of good education because of the community so that madrasas will become more qualified, because of the support from the community, of course the progress of the madrasa will be reaped through the future of children in the future by involving their role in improving the quality of education services which include planning, supervision and evaluation of education programs including the field of religious education. This paper aims to describe the role of school committees in efforts to improve the quality of education. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman qualitative data analysis technique. The results showed that the role of the school committee was to improve quality, equity, and efficiency in the management of education in the education unit. Both in pre-school education, school education and out-of-school education. The dysfunction of the school committee's duties as a follow-up to community aspirations does not affect the decline in the quality of education. This is because the educational device as a social system is autopoietic which can renew the dysfunction in one or several educational subsystems. The government formed the Education Board to ensure the implementation of a democratic and quality education policy through community involvement as education stakeholders. By examining the achievement of the objectives of the establishment of the Education Board, this study wanted to see how the Education Board contributed to improving the quality of Education services in Cirebon District. This research was conducted qualitatively in 2019 with the method of data collection through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and document studies. The results showed that the Board of Education had not yet optimally contributed. The general public does not understand the existence of the Board of Education. Community participation in education that should be optimized through the School Committee has also not been optimally touched. Collaboration with industry has not been established so that the involvement of the Industrial Business World in the development of Education has not been optimal. The absence of rules regarding budget allocations for the implementation of the Education Board activities, resulting in the Education Board unable to work optimally.
