The process of building the image of Halal tourism is inseparable from the participation of youth in providing Halal hospitality services to tourists based on Islamic values that are believed by the wider community as their local characteristics (authenticity). This study aims to reveal the role of youth in building the image of Halal tourism in terms of the perspective of producers (suppliers) or people who present local service products according to Islamic values that are believed to be. This study uses a qualitative descriptive phenomenology approach. Data obtained through observation and in-depth interviews with 5 tourism activists including 2 adult groups such as; Pokdarwis Chairperson, Pokdarwis treasurer, and 3 youth groups involved in the Sekartije pokdarwis management. The results show that young people who are members of Pokdarwis Sekartije Desa Setanggor as destination managers have started to have awareness to maintain and realize the image development of Halal tourist destinations by making it easier for tourists to get Halal tourism products and service facilities in Setanggor Village, which are supported by Halal habits (Halal practice) that have become the needs of the villagers.

<p class="A04-abstrak3"><span lang="EN-US">In order to reduce poverty in the agricultural sector, the Ministry of Agriculture implements the BEKERJA program, which is  an effort to empower poor farmers in farming multi-commodities, including laying hens, vegetables, fruit and plantation crops. The objective of this study is to understand the role of the program on increasing farmers' income and reducing poverty. This research was conducted in 11 provinces covering 38 districts which were the location of the BEKERJA program in 2018 and 2019. The data used were primary data collected through in-depth  interviews of farmers participating in the program. The results of quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis concluded that the program was quite successful in enhancing agricultural business activities among poor farmers, but it had not been able to increase farmers' income significantly. The number of poor farmers participating in the program only decreased by 1.48%. There are many challenges faced in empowering poor farmers, and therefore a strong commitment is needed to reduce poverty in the agricultural sector. To increase the effectiveness of these poverty reduction efforts, the empowerment of poor farmers in the future should be carried out as the following: (1) commodities developed are focused on the  laying hens and vegetables farming, (2) farmers empowerment and  provision of agricultural facilities should be continued  at least until the farming activities is financially profitable, (3)  technical guidance for cultivation should be strengthen, (4) beneficiaries of the program should be  prioritized to  young farmers, and (5) development a special program that is focussed for the poor farmers.</span></p>

The construction of socio-cultural stigmatization on the understanding of mental disorders is particularly interesting to study in the people with mental disorders who received treatment at the Mental Hospital. Mental disorder is a disease caused by the chaos of thoughts, perceptions and behavior in which the individualaare not able to adjust to themselves, other people, society and the environment. By applying the cultural studies viewpoint that is siding with the oppressed, the study aims to determine the forms and factors causing the stigma of people with mental disorders. The research method used is observation, in-depth interviews and life history data collection. The collected data were then analyzed using qualitative descriptive and interpretative. The results showed that the forms of stigma with mental disorders are divided into two, namely the public stigma (stigma derived from the community) and self-stigma (stigma comes from the patient and his own family). The forms of the public stigma include rejection, exclusion, and violence. The self-stigma takes the forms, among others, prejudice, guilt, fear and anger. Factors behind the stigma of mental disorders are external and internal factors. External factors include, among others, the madness is a disgrace, the myth of mental illness, and people's belief regarding the role of dukun. While the internal factors are family knowledge of the etiology of mental disorders, lack of family support and feelings of shame.

In a time of economic crisis the need to adopt energy conservation practices comes to the fore. It is helpful to evaluate the role of young people as both consumers and potential agents of change bridging the gap between school and family to encourage lower household energy consumption. Based on two surveys of parents and students of a secondary school in Lisbon, plus in-depth interviews with parents, this article analyzes the complexity of this challenge, highlighting adults' perceptions of their children's contribution to energy saving. Results show that parents see young people as major energy consumers. Young people's engagement with electronic equipment as essential components of their lifestyles and their belief in technology as a solution to energy problems thwart them from being promoters of energy saving. In this context of scarcity, parents try to protect their children's well-being and opportunities in life by accepting their children's unrestricted energy use.

This study intends to look at the role of parents in socializing sex education to adolescents in lower middle families and the forms of socialization and the obstacles faced by parents in socializing the values of sex education to their teenage children. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach, data traversing began with initial surveys, literature studies, field studies and in-depth interviews and observations. The results of research on the importance of the role of parents in the socialization of knowledge about sex to children are needed. Lack of knowledge about sex education and being busy working means that most parents do not want to provide knowledge about sex to adolescents for fear of misinforming them so that parents tend to give up the responsibility for providing knowledge on adolescent sex to schools or youth organizations. The formation of farmer groups will make it easier for farmers to carry out their farming activities. This study aims to examine the role of farmer groups in cocoa farming activities in Ketulungan Village. The approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. Respondents were cocoa farmer groups selected using a purposive method. Data collection is done by in-depth interviews with respondents and informants. The informants in this study were extension agents both from related institutions and from the private sector. The results of this study indicate that the role of farmer groups in farming activities includes: (1) Farmer groups as a forum for sharing information, namely farmer groups disseminating information obtained from instructors to their members through meetings; (2) Farmer groups as a place of discussion, namely farmer groups as a place to find solutions to problems in cocoa farming activities such as maintenance and handling of pests and diseases; (3) Farmer groups as a forum for learning, namely farmer groups as a place to get knowledge about cocoa cultivation; (4) Farmer groups as production units, namely farmer groups as providers of facilities and infrastructure in farming activities of their members such as providing fertilizer and cocoa seeds; (5) Farmer groups as a place of cooperation, namely farmer groups capable of cooperating with extension agents, PT Mars and its members in carrying out their farming activities. It is expected that farmer groups, more actively collaborate in farming activities and can cooperate with the government and other parties to improve their farming activities.

Abstract: The article with the title 'The Role of Parents' Families To Toddlers in Forming Character (Study of Beginner Parents),' aims to 1) Analyze the patterns of communication that parents make to their children, 2) Analyze the use of verbal and nonverbal communication by parents to toddlers. 3) looking for communication models carried out by parents to toddlers. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach to in-depth interviews with toddler parents. Conclusion Parent to child communication patterns are influenced by protective patterns with pluralistic patterns as well as the combination of protective patterns with consensual patterns. Parental verbal communication to children in parenting uses words that are easily understood by children, gentle, firm. nonverbal communication of parents to children hugging children when invited to other family homes, invited to go to a place of recreation. Model of family communication from parents between father and mother there are differences in the family communication model of family communication conducted by fathers using protective and laizzer-fair patterns, while the family communication model conducted by mothers uses modification or combination. Keywords: Family role; interpersonal communication.   Abstrak: Artikel dengan judul ‘Peran Keluarga Orang Tua Kepada Anak Balita Dalam Membentuk Karakter (Studi Pada Orang Tua Pemula),’ ini bertujuan untuk 1) Menganalisis Pola komunikasi yang dilakukan orang tua kepada anak, 2) Menganalisis penggunaan komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal yang dilakukan orang tua kepada anaka balita. 3) mencari model komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh orang tua kepada balita. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan wawancara mendalam kepada orang tua balita. Kesimpulan Pola komunikasi orangtua kepada anak a dipengaruhi oleh pola protektif dengan pola pluralistik juga  gabungan  pola  protektif  dengan pola konsensual, Komunikasi verbal orangtua kepada anak pada pola pengasuhan menggunakan kata yang mudah difahami anak, lemah lembut, tegas. komunikasi nonverbal orangtua  kepada  anak memeluk anak saat diajak kerumah keluarga lain, diajak jalan ketempat rekreasi. Model komunikasi keluarga dari orangtua antara ayah dan ibu terdapat perbedaan dalam model komunikasi keluarga komunikasi keluarga yang dilakukan oleh ayah lebih mengunakan pola protektif dan laizzer-fair, sedangkan model komunikasi keluarga yang dilakukan oleh ibu lebih mengunakan modifikasi atau gabungan. Pig hunting tradition (maddengeng) is one of cultures in Ponre District, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi. It is done because pigs are declared as big pest that can cause agricultural and environmental damage. This study aims to describe the important role of Islamic Education on pig hunting tradition  done by people of Ponre. This study used intrinsic and extrinsic approach. It employed qualitative descriptive method by describing the Islamic values from the observed culture. The data were collected by using some techniques including observation, interview, and documentation. In the case of data analysis, the gathered data were analyzed by using data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. The result shows that pig hunting tradition of Ponre people is divided into two activities, namely local pig hunting and massive pig hunting. Local pig hunting is usually done to identify the core of pest location by using simple utilities. Conversely, massive pig hunting is done by involving many people massively and using more complete utilities as well as systematic steps. In fact, in its realization, there are some deviations done by Ponre people which against the Islamic law, such as doing some rituals that contain the elements of animism and dynamism before doing the process of pig hunting. Therefore, Islamic Education has an important role in straightening those deviate concepts by changing those rituals with praying together to Allah before doing pig hunting, and giving some understanding about how to properly clean things touched with pigs according to Islamic law.

In the modern era, Javanese culture began to be swept aside by foreign cultures, besides that Javanese also began to be forgotten because many young people lacked much Javanese language, this was due to lack of Javanese language education being applied in schools. The purpose of this study is to provide a way for young people to better understand the importance of Javanese in preserving Javanese culture. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method using an observation and case study approach. The results obtained in this research based on descriptive qualitative methods are increasing the sensitivity of the community, especially young people, about the role of Javanese language education in the preservation of Javanese culture, especially in the modern era. Considering that many young people today do not understand the importance of Javanese language education in preserving Javanese culture. This research is also intended to preserve Javanese culture itself. Through the research objectives, the impact that occurs is the sensitivity of young people to the role of Javanese language education and the preservation of Javanese culture itself.

<p class="ListParagraph1"><em>This article focuses on implementing the Social learning method, which is used by Persatuan Islam organization in Garut district (West Java) and aims to found the impact of the curriculum for Santri life to strengthen the puritanism among society. This is mainly because Pesantren Persatuan Islam, the Islamic educational institution from Indonesia, has led citizens to broaden their knowledge and skills. Santri (pesantren students) should take a preaching class, which becomes one of the most well-known curriculums to spread Islamic values in society. This is a qualitative-descriptive that uses observation and in-depth interviews. The study indicates the method in Pesantren Persatuan Islam Garut district has a huge impact on social skills since it can also implement in society. This is mainly because the strategies of the Persatuan Islam (Persis) organization give some social contributions, so the people become accustomed to the Persis activities and leading some members of society to enroll their children to some Persatuan Islam religious schools.</em><em>          </em><em></em></p><p>Artikel ini berfokus pada implementasi dari metode pembelajaran sosial yang diberlakukan oleh organisasi Persatuan Islam di Kabupaten Garut (Jawa Barat) dan bertujuan untuk menemukan dampak dari kurikulum pada kehidupan santri dalam rangka penguatan nilai purtan di masyarakat. Hal ini didasarkan pada Pesantren Persatuan Islam sebagai salah salah satu Lembaga Pendidikan Islam dari Indonesia telah membina masyarakat untuk dapat memperluas ilmu pengetahuan dan keahliannya. Santri (siswa pesantren) harus mendalami dakwah yang menjadi salah satu kurikulum paling populer sehingga mereka mampu untuk menyebarluaskan ajaran Islam puritan di kalangan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan teknik observasi serta wawancara kepada beberapa sumber penting yang berkaitan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa metode yang digunakan oleh Persatuan Islam Kab. Garut memberikan dampak yang besar pada kemampuan sosial sejak hal tersebut dapat diimplementasikan di dalam masyarakat. Hal ini disebabkan karena strategi yang digunakan oleh Persis memberikan kontribusi sosial sehingga orang-orang menjadi terbiasa dengan kegiatan Persis serta membuat masyarakat tertarik untuk mendaftarkan anak-anak mereka ke beberapa pesantren Persatuan Islam.</p>

ABSTRACT Ajeng art preservation Hamlet  origin  Bambu  Duri, Karangpawitan.  Karawang,  many obstacles.  Passive  role of the local artist community,  the lack of regeneration  culture  of origin, not pro-active  good relations  between relevant  agencies as well as the entry  of modern art, the art of Ajeng  undeveloped and eroded extinction.  Ajeng art is a kind of art that has its peculiari- ties such as art pangajeng-ngajeng  (Pangwilujeng)  accompanied by Soja dances that were held at the welcoming  ceremony  the bride or the guest  of honor.  Through  research  with qualitative descriptive approach to the socio-cultural  aspects in a systematic, empirical, and cultural  theory is expected to  be the  presentation  of Ajeng  art Maya art aesthetic  tradition  and loved young people in the conservation and development  of the  art of Ajeng. Keywords: Ajeng,  Dance Soja     ABSTRAK Pelestarian seni Ajeng asal Dusun Bambu Duri, Karang Pawitan. Pasifnya peran komunitas seniman setempat, kurang adanya regenerasi budaya asal, tidak pro aktifnya hubungan baik antara dinas terkait serta masuknya kesenian modern, maka seni Ajeng tidak berkembang dan tergerus kepunahan. Seni Ajeng merupakan jenis seni yang memiliki kekhasan seperti seni pangajeng-ngajeng (Pangwilujeng) dengan diiringi tarian Soja yang biasanya dilaksanakan pada acara upacara pengantin atau penyambutan tamu kehormatan. Melalui penelitian dengan pendekatan deskriftif kualitatif pada aspek sosial budaya secara sistematis, empiris, dan teori budaya diharapkan seni Ajeng menjadi penyajian seni Ajeng yang estetik tradisi dan dicintai generasi muda dalam rangka pelestarian dan pengembangan seni Ajeng. Kata kunci: Ajeng, Tari Soja
