The preparation and development of the curriculum can not be done recklessly. In Islam, education has the characteristics different from education in general, for example Islamic education emphasizes akhlak, combines science and charity, and so forth. T management science approach is required in the preparation or development of the curriculum, so that the Islamic education curriculum development reflects the characteristics of the school. There are three stages in curriculum development: curriculum planning, curriculum implementation, and curriculum evaluation. This paper contains an explanation of these three stages in relation to the principles, fundamentals and approaches in curriculum development. The concept of management is integrated with the concept of curriculum development in an integral way, so the two concepts become a single concept of curriculum management in Islamic education.

Islamic education curriculum has central value for education process, as education vision direction. Islamic education mission is how to create religious people by leaning perfectly. Curriculum becomes one of success applications and quality in education institution most. Curriculum will develop based on global world and people life style existency. Therefore, education should view people life style increased as learning source that is becomed a value for curriculum step making. Beside that, islamic education curriculum development also becomes teacher’s choice to implement learning manner in class. In where, it’s implementation should be arranged and systematically to make maximal learning either in development vision, indicator, lesson teory, lesson model proccess, learning evaluation or teacher’s development skill. The process of islamic education curriculum development  must be done good and awesome also seeing several factors as supports and obstacles of it. In other to get an education result based on such the plan made before(education planning).

The Islamic Education curriculum is one of the important components to create a generation of morality and martyrs. But the Islamic Religious Education curriculum has been considered only to educate cognitive aspects (transfer of knowladge) and has not touched many affective and psychomotor aspects (transfer of value). This is evident from the many students who have not been able to apply knowledge about their religion such as not performing worship well, speaking harshly and disrespectfully, disrespecting parents and teachers and a group of students who are often in shopping centers and crowds. Therefore, it is necessary to develop an Islamic Education curriculum that accommodates cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects, so that education is not only a transfer of knowladge but also a transfer of value. Islamic Education curriculum development in this study contains the understanding of the expansion or improvement of the subject matter of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum and what is experienced by students or all efforts (engineering) programmed by Al Islam Azhar 36 Bandung in helping develop the potential of students through learning experience the potential to achieve the vision, mission, school goals.

Studi ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan perkembangan kurikulum pendidikan agama Islam (PAI) di Indonesia, dengan fokus pada perkembangan kurikulum (PAI) pra kemerdekaan, orde lama, orde baru, dan orde reformasi. Data diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan. Studi ini menemukan bahwa pendidikan agama (Islam) mengalami dinamika yang berfluktuasi sejalan dengan sikap politik pemerintah terhadap umat Islam. Memasuki era akhir orde baru hingga era reformasi sekarang ini pendidikan agama Islam mengalami perkembangan positif, hanya saja kurikulumnya masih tetap harus didesain agar kompatibel dengan dinamika zaman. Kata Kunci: Perkembangan kurikulum, Pendidikan agama Islam di Indonesia. This study aims to describe the development of Islamic education curriculum (PAI) in Indonesia, with a focus on curriculum development (PAI) pre-independence, the old order, the new order, and order reforms. Data obtained through research. The study found that Islamic education (Islam) to experience the dynamics of fluctuating in line with the government's political attitude toward Muslims. Entering the era of the New Order era to the present reform of Islamic education experienced a positive development it's just that the curriculum remains to be designed to be compatible with the dynamics.Keywords: curriculum development, Islamic education in Indonesia

This study aims at finding the development of Islamic education curriculum in higher education. Curriculum development conceived as an effort to develop a curriculum that refers to the Indonesian Qualifications Framework (KKNI), National Standards for Higher Education (SNPT), and Paradigm Integration-Interconnection Studies as the orientation of scientific development at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. This study was conducted by means of naturalistic qualitative approach. The location of this study was at the Department of Islamic Religious Educatioan of Faculty of Islamic Education and Teaching UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The subjects consisted of cases which are selected by purposive sampling techniques. The study procedure of collecting data consisted of four steps: observation, in-depth interviews, and document study. The data were analyzed using inductive models, while the validity of the result met the criteria of credibility, transferability, dependability and conformability. The research findings are as follows: first, the emphasis on curriculum development (a) clarity profile of graduates with a description of its operation. (b) The learning outcomes as an indicator graduate profile that refers to KKNI and SNPT. (c) Field studies as a strategic issue which combined with the development of the course learning outcomes, (d) Half the weight of the unit credits obtained by multiplying the depth and breadth of study material; Second, the development of the curriculum to accommodate all the requirements of a professional teacher with four competencies; pedagogical, personality, social and professional competence, plus the competence of the leadership. Third, curriculum development in PAIDepartment also stressed on the aspect of PAI consisting of Al-Qur’an Hadith, Aqidah Akhlak, Fiqh, Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam to improve the professional competence of future teachers.

The development of an Islamic religious education curriculum (PAI) is an activity to produce a PAI curriculum and a process that links one component to another to create a better Islamic education curriculum (PAI). The curriculum component must consist of at least four parts, namely objectives, contents, processes, and assessments. This study discusses in depth the development of the curriculum in the Indonesian curriculum for the 2013 Curriculum model. This study aims to determine the extent to which the curriculum development curriculum for the 2013 curriculum model PAI. This study uses a literature review method. Data collection is done through documentation study techniques. The results of this study indicate that the curriculum development of the 2013 curriculum in the PAI is very significant, oriented towards realizing character education, creating education with local insight and creating a cheerful and friendly culture. Pengembangan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) adalah kegiatan menghasilkan kurikulum PAI, dan proses yang mengkaitkan satu komponen dengan komponen yang lainya untuk menghasilkan kurikulum pendidikan agama Islam (PAI) yang lebih baik. Komponen kurikulum setidaknya harus terdiri dari empat komponen yaitu tujuan, isi, proses dan penilaian. Penelitian ini membahas secara mendalam mengenai pengembangan kurikulum PAI model Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana  pengembangan kurikulum PAI model Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan  pengembangan kurikulum PAI Kurikulum 2013 pada ranah ini sangat signifikan, yang berorientasi pada mewujudkan pendidikan berkarakter, menciptakan pendidikan berwawasan lokal serta menciptakan pendidikan yang ceria dan bersahabat.

The Effect of Islamic Education Curriculum Development on the Achievement of Learning Subject of Islamic Religious Education High School Student Tunas Luhur Paiton Probolinggo, This research is a quantitative research with descriptive analysis approach and simple regression analysis to 20 randomly selected sample people. Curriculum development data obtained from the accumulation of some test scores held by TPQ SMATL.Pengembangankurikulum Islamic education and learning achievement subjects PAI SMATL students have a strong or significant relationship with the value of r calculated results (0.681) larger than rtabel (0.444 ) at a significance level of 5%. Result of regression analysis obtained conclusion that curriculum development give positive influence to learning achievement of PAI, marked by slope value (slope) positive regression line equal to 0,690. The regression equation obtained (Y = 35,558 + 0,690X) can also explain the diversity of student achievement score significantly based on the result of further analysis with F-value test (15,548) bigger than Ftabel (4,41) at significance level 5 % and with the test of coefficient of determination (r2) value of 0.463. Overall, thus, the proposed hypothesis is accepted, ie that there is a significant (positive) influence of the development of Islamic education curriculum on the achievement of learning subjects PAI high school students Tunas Luhur Paiton Probolinggo. The objectives of this research are: (1) to find out the planning of developing Islamic education curriculum in Al-Ulum Islamic School Medan, (2) to know the implementation of Islamic Education curriculum development in Al-Ulum Islamic School Medan, and (3) to find out the evaluation of the development of Islamic Education Curriculum in Al-Ulum Islamic School Medan. The approach taken in this study is a qualitative approach. This means that the data collected is not in the form of numbers, but data that comes from interviews, observations of personal documents, notes, memos and other official documents. The results of this study are: (1) planning the development of Islamic Education curriculum in the Al-Ulum Islamic School in Medan carried out through 3 stages: (a) the development of institution-level programs, (b) the development of programs for each subject, and (c) the development of teaching programs in the classroom, (2) the implementation of the development of Islamic Education curriculum in Al-Ulum Islamic School Medan carried out through two types of curriculum namely the intracuricular and extracurricular curriculum, and (3) the evaluation of the development of Islamic Education curriculum in Al-Ulum Islamic School Medan namely by holding monthly meetings and also the supervision of teachers. and conduct comparative study activities to other schools in and outside the city.

The aims of this study to find the process of formulating, implementation and evaluation of the curriculum strategy strategy for the International Islamic Boarding School Islamic education model at the Thursina IIBS Islamic Education Institute Malang Regency. The method in this study uses a qualitative approach, case study research with multi-site design, data collection techniques, namely: interviews, observations, and document studies, analysis techniques using single cases and cross-cases. The results of this study are: (1) Formulation of the curriculum development strategy of the International Islamic Boarding School model through the following stages: first, the input strategy: combining the Islamic boarding school curriculum, the national curriculum and the international curriculum namely the Coumbridge Curriculum, graduates from the International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) will have a charter Coumbbrige, Second, process strategy: developing curriculum through language strengthening and self-development with global insight (enrichment and extension), third, output strategy: commitment to the quality of graduates who have an Islamic personality (morally excelent), globally minded (internationally minded) , and spirited leader (an inspiring leader). (2) Implementation of the strategy of developing Islamic education curriculum model International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS), implementation of the curriculum through the process of organizational culture and refocusing the organization and specialization class (Moslem scholar, entrepreneur, sciencepreneur, professional) (3) Evaluation of strategy development of Islamic education curriculum the International Islamic Boarding School model, the evaluation adapts to the standard curriculum blending the pesantren curriculum, national, and international, the evaluation is carried out holistically starting from the input, process, output, and outcome by involving all stakeholders in curriculum development.

ABSTRACT: This article aims to study the theoretical process of developing the Islamic Education Curriculum as well as to what extent is the curriculum with Islamic education in the process, while in the process it takes a long time to perfect the curriculum with Islamic religious education, while curriculum development is designed with ideas and programs, The idea is in the form of a document in the form of a syllabus, then with the process of development will be developed and socialization of the community and educational institutions. The process of this educational curriculum can be developed by designing, implementing, and perfecting the Islamic religious education curriculum. in the form of curriculum there are four dimensions, namely the idea of design, implementation, and the results are involved by extracurricular and curricular.
