All of the studies regarding movement have concluded that physical exercises (PEs) hold a very important part in improving people’s quality of life (QL). QL is comprised of several indicators influencing each other. One of these indicators is physical fitness (PF). PF is directly influenced by the degree of physical activity (PA) and it represents a precondition of being healthy physically, mentally and socially. The purpose of this research was to identify certain exercise programs which are meant to increase the PF of university students. In this regard, we introduced, in the physical education lessons of the experimental group, exercises from Pilates, Tae Bo, Stretching and Workout at Fitness Machines. Control group carried out typical activities of the ordinary Physical Education curriculum throughout the research. The PF components reported improvements in the values of the experimental group at the end of the research. There were significant improvements for balance (p = 0.009), speed of execution (p = 0.006), flexibility (p = 0.013), explosive strength (p = 0.001), static strength (p = 0.009), muscular endurance of the trunk (p = 0.0008), muscular endurance of the arms (p = 0.010) and agility (p = 0.0001). The results of our research support the idea of diversifying physical education lessons with students and orienting physical activities towards increasing their QL, because the improvement of QL for all age groups has become a major focus of modern society.

Innovation in Physical Education (PE) implies to search different ways to improve the quality of the educational process. The Sport Education Model (SEM) is a pedagogical approach that allows students to get involve in sport learnings at the same time that they participate autonomously in cooperative teams. Despite of the multiple contents that have been taught in PE through the characteristics of the SEM, to date there is no experiences that have applied this model in the teaching and the assessment of physical fitness. Therefore, this work presents an action research experience that involved 67 students from first grade of Secondary Education (36 males and 31 females) with a mean age of 12.46 years old (SD = 0.66) concerning the adaptation and implementation of the MED in the teaching of test to assess physical fitness in Secondary Education Students (11-16 years). In order to evaluate its application, a qualitative design was used. Interviews, a field diary and students’ perceptions were analyzed. It was observed that students were physically active most of the time, they performed all the test and assessed positively their involvement in the cooperative teams. Therefore, it is suggested that some features of the SEM (e.g., cooperative teams, duty roles, organization in phases, data collection) can be an adequate to teach this content and that it could contribute to develop some key competences.

At present, the traditional sports teaching model has been unable to meet the needs of modern diversified talents. Based on the actual needs of physical education, this article reforms traditional physical education methods, proposes a university physical education model based on virtual crowd simulation and digital media, and builds a corresponding system. Moreover, this paper uses feature identification to monitor classroom teaching and counts multiple parameters to assist the effective teaching activities. In model tracking, the DMS motion trajectory is obtained, and then the center points of all grid sequences are calculated to generate a center point matrix. Considering the difference in motion between adjacent frames of DMS, the difference is quantified by the significance value, so that the sequence of adjacent frames with small differences is organized into clusters. In addition, this paper builds a computer system model based on actual needs and evaluates model performance through actual teaching. The research results show that the proposed model has good performance.
