AbstractThe purpose of the study was to analyze the differences in the increase in self-concept of elementary school students through scaffolding techniques in Saparua District, Central Maluku Regency, Maluku Province. The method used was a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest and involved 30 elementary school students as research samples. The test uses paired sample t-test and it is identified that there are differences in students' self concepts before and after scaffolding techniques are applied. Self-concept enhancement was analyzed using N-gain, where each self-concept indicator achieved an increase in the medium category. The indicators of attitude and self-confidence increased by 31%, The indicators of View of ability and disability increased by 43%, and indicators of self-sensitivity increased by 52%, and the indicators of views of others towards themselves was 45%. These result are due to the effectiveness of scaffolding, because by scaffolding students can be helped to solve a problem.

This research aimed to determine the effect of scrapbook child stories as a media for storytelling skills for elementary school students. This type of research was a quasi-experimental quantitative study with a pretest-posttest group design. The population of this research was second grade elementary school students of Candimulyo sub-district, involving two classes as the control class and the experimental class. The test results were then analyzed using the prerequisite test and hypothesis testing. The prerequisite test consists of the normality test using the Kolmogorov Smirnov test and the homogeneity test using the One Way Anova. Hypothesis testing using t-test with independent sample t-test. The results of the analysis were then tested using a significance level of 0.05. The results of this result showed that the control class and the experimental class had a normal and homogeneous distribution. The t-test results showed a significance level 0.05. It means that there was a significant effect of scrapbook child stories to improve storytelling skills.

This research is motivated by the mathematical self-concept of students in learning mathematics is not yet formed with positive self concept and this is influenced by many factors, one of which is the teacher factor. A teacher must be able to create a learning atmosphere that is meaningful, fun, creative and dynamic through the use of appropriate learning models one of which is the learning model Accelerated Learning Cycle is a learning model that creates a learning process environment that is meaningful and promotes the emergence of positive emotions. The formulation of the problem is Is there a significant influence on the application of the accelerated learning cycle learning model to students' mathematical self-concepts? This research is a quantitative study using the Quasi-experimental method, the type of experimental design is the quasi experimental design method with the type of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design in two different classes which are divided into experimental and control classes. class VII 3 totaling 31 students and VII 11 totaling 34 students. Then the data collection instrument was a questionnaire that was given twice, that is before being treated and after being treated. Analysis of the data used is descriptive and inferential statistical formulas namely normality test and hypothesis testing with paired sample t-test. In accordance with the hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample t-test, the value of t thitung = 37.177 is greater than ttabel = 2.03452 then according to the basis of decision making in the t test, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted at the 5% significance level (α = 0.05) this shows that there is a significant effect of the application of the accelerated learning cycle learning model to students' mathematical self-concepts

<p><em>This study aims at describing the effectiveness of local wisdom-based teaching materials on the creative writing skills of elementary school students. The sample of the study was 2nd-grade students at SDN 1 Campurdarat, which amounted to 45 students. The research design uses quasi-experimental research in the form of a nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design. The data were collected using the instrument of creative writing skills. The analysis was performed by different tests using the Wilcoxon formula. The results showed that there were differences before and after the use of teaching materials based on local wisdom towards students' creative writing skills. The results of evaluating creative writing on each learning from learning 1 to 6 show the students' mastery in achieving creative writing criteria.</em></p>

This study aims to provide an understanding of character education based on multicultural values in elementary school students. The method used is quasi-experimental to see the changes that occur after using mobile learning in class VI SDN Kadipaten 1 Majalengka. The population and sample of the study were the sixth-grade students of SDN Kadipaten Majalengka in the 2020/2021 academic year. The data collection technique used a test that was used to determine the student's tolerance attitude. Based on the data processing and analysis results, it can be concluded that the attitude of tolerance needs to be given a good understanding at the level of elementary school students. It is because elementary school students are at a stage where imitation is very high. The "Smart-Ku" M-Learning application can be a facility in providing an understanding of tolerance. It is shown that the results of the study indicate that there are differences in tolerance attitudes before and after using the "Smart-Ku" M-Learning application.

<p>The aims of this study was to determine the ability to master the concept of elementary school students through the implementation of critical multiliteracy learning models. This research was conducted on fifth grade students of elementary school. The research method used in this study was a quasi-experimental method. The participants in this study amounted to 39 students. Data was collected using tests and rubric. Analysis of data in this research using the t test with SPSS version 20.0 program for windows. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the mastery ability of the explanatory text concept of students experienced a significant increase and was included in the sufficient category. This can be seen from the pretest score obtained by students at 34.74 and the posttest results at 64.23. Based on the results of the t test the significance value is 0.00˂0.05 thus it can be concluded that there are significant differences between the mastery of students' concepts before and after being given treatment using critical multiliteracy learning models.</p>

This study investigated the effects of the Success for All (sfa) program on elementary school students' reading achievement in 4 cities. The purpose was to conduct an independent examination of the program's effectiveness separate from the program's developers and from the school district in which it was first implemented. The research framework employed a pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent but systematically matched groups. Results indicated greater achievement for students in sfa classes at 3 of the sites, especially for students achieving below the 25th percentile, relative to students in control classrooms at all 4 sites. However, sfa effects were not as strong and consistent as those obtained in the original studies. This research suggests that sfa can be implemented in sites geographically removed from the developers and apart from their direct supervision, but that continual monitoring and support of the program's quality is needed to ensure success over time.

The objectives of this study are (1) to find out and to present the evidence whether the pedagogical model of the genre affects the writing skills of elementary school students, (2) to know and present the evidence whether Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) affects the writing skills of elementary school students, (3) to know and explain evidence whether the genre pedagogical model and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) jointly influence the writing skills of elementary school students. This research is a Pre-Experimental Design with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. In this design, there is only one class that will be analyzed and measure the extent of students' writing skills before and after treatment. The results of the study are proven (1) that genre pedagogical model has a positive and significant effect on the writing skills of grade 5 elementary school students, (2) that the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) has a positive and significant effect on the writing skills of grade 5 elementary school students, (3) that the genre pedagogical model and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) jointly influence the writing skills of grade 5 elementary school students.

Introduction: Oral health education is one way to increase understanding in maintaining oral health. This will be effective if started at an early age. The purpose of this study is to analyzed differences in knowledge before and after counseling between lectures and play methods. Methods: Quasi experimental methods are used in this study. Samples were selected through purposive sampling, 27 sixth grade students and 12 elementary school students from Cikawao village were taken as sample. Questionnaires before and after counseling are used to address the differences in the knowledge of each student. Group 1 was given counseling on oral health through the lecture method while group 2 through the play method. Results: The study found that the increase in the mean score of the play method (6.53) was higher than the lecture method (4.75). The difference in knowledge after counseling between the lecture and play methods was significant among elementary school students. Conclusion: There are differences in oral health knowledge before and after counseling between the lecture method and the play method. The knowledge obtain after counseling with play methods is better when compared to lecture method.
