Editorial text writing skills involve the students’ abilities to collect references based on experience. Collaboration, communication, and critical and creative thinking activities are indispensable for learning in the 21st century. Plural Partner Model A-21 is used in learning activities to write editorial texts. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning to write editorial texts using the Plural Partner A-21 model based on the specialization of vocational students. The research design used was quasi-experimental with a population of XII grade students of SMK in the 2019/2020 academic year. Data collection techniques using test and non-test techniques. The test technique was carried out by measuring the skills of students in writing editorial texts, while the non-test technique was carried out by using questionnaire sheets, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the T-test and analysis of variance (Anova). The results prove that the use of the Plural Partner A-21 model is effective in learning editorial text writing skills based on the specialization of vocational students. Research benefits provide theoretical and practical advantages. Theoretically, this study can enrich the theory of learning to write editorial texts using a combination of the Plural Partner model with 21st century learning skills. The importance of this research for educators to increase the sense of responsibility for the quality of education in an era of disruption.

The novel Anak Rantau by Ahmad Fuadi was chosen as the object of research because of the many aspects of self-actualization that are raised in the story, especially regarding the main character's struggles in facing the realities of life and its twists.. The purpose of this research was to describe and explain the process and characteristics of the main character's self-actualization in the novel Anak Rantau by Ahmad Fuadi. This study used a literary psychology approach. The psychological theory used was Abraham Maslow's self-actualization. Hepi started the process of self-actualization since he was abandoned in Tanjung Duren village by his father. Hepi fulfilled 14 traits of self-actualization. The nature of self-actualization that he has was 1) efficient observation of reality; 2) self-acceptance and others as they are; 3) spontaneity, simplicity, and reasonableness; 4) focus on the problem; 5) the need for privacy; 6) function autonomously; 7) appreciation that is always fresh; 8) social awareness/interest; 9) interpersonal relationships; 10) democratic; 11) differences between means and objectives; 12) creativity; 13) independence, and 14) peak experience.

Emerging and spreading hate speech online was a growing phenomenon in social media on youtube. Najwa Shihab was a youtube channel that contains shows and comments on political issues in Indonesia, one of them was the 2019 presidential election campaign. The form of hate speech in comments in the Najwa Shihab Channels was forming grammatical construction and construction of the meaning of one hate speech with other utterances. The purpose of this study was to analyze the illocutionary speech acts on hate speech and to analyze hate speech based on the rule of law in Indonesia. The analysis resulted in hate speech on the Najwa Shihab youtube channel audience comments in the General Election campaign in the discourse of the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia in 2019. The approach that used in this study was a theoretical approach, namely a forensic linguistic approach by utilizing pragmatics for data analysis, and a methodological approach, namely a qualitative descriptive approach. The data on hate speech that was analyzed was a fragment of the audience's comments on two programs, namely Mata Najwa and Catatan Najwa. The results showed that there were nine forms of hate speech. Two forms of hate speech were considered to be the style of speech that was widely used by the public in delivering comments on social media. The forms of the speech were "Form of Hate Speech, Assertive Speech - Insult" and "Form of Hate Speech, Assertive Speech - Defamation".  The existence of this form of speech can be a reference for the community to process opinions first before conveying it on social media. It's legally can be used as an offense in cases of hate speech.

The formation of student personalities that can be developed with writing explanatory texts enrichment book containing 21st century competencies includes aspects of knowledge, skills, and personality that are integrated with 21st century competencies that students must master. This study aims to analyze the need for enrichment book development in writing explanatory text with 21st century competencies and the characteristics of enrichment book development for writing explanatory text with 21st century competence. The research method uses the Research and Development and uses six steps out of ten steps in the R&D method. The results obtained from this study were an analysis of the needs of students and teachers which were grouped based on question aspects, namely (1) material and content needs, (2) 21st century competency content needs, (3) presentation needs, (4) language needs. and (5) legibility and graphics needs. This needs analysis is to determine the tendency of the needs of students and teachers to the form of the enrichment book being developed. Then, the characteristics of the enrichment book are writing explanatory texts containing 21st century competencies according to the perceptions of students and teachers in accordance with the principles of content feasibility, presentation feasibility, linguistic feasibility, and graphic feasibility. In addition, teachers and students are very in accordance with the form of the book that is being made easy to carry. Therefore, the development of an enrichment book to write explanatory texts containing 21st century competencies is in accordance with the wishes of teachers and students in using a learning resource.

Identifying learning of the information in explanatory text requires creativity in its implementation. One of the things that affect identifying learning of the information in explanatory text is the students’ reading intensity. Therefore, it takes the most effective learning method to be applied and the learning method chosen is the SQ3R method. The purpose of this study was to explain the effectiveness of identifying learning of information in explanatory text by using the SQ3R method based on the reading intensity of the XI grade students at Madrasah Aliyah. The method used in this study was an experimental research design with a quasi-experimental factorial. The sample of this research is students of class IX MAN 2 Kudus. The collection of data uses identifying learning of the explanatory text information and reading intensity test to determine high or low reading intensity. Non-test data collection uses observation and photo documentation. The results of this study were (1) The SQ3R learning method was effective in identifying information in explanatory text for class XI students of Madrasah Aliyah with an increase of 12.23, from an average of 66.51 to 78.74. This is evidenced by the sign value=0.000<0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of the experimental group pre-test post-test which is used the SQ3R learning method. Meanwhile, the ability to identify information in explanatory text to students with low reading intensity treated with the SQ3R method, and an average value is 67. Identifying Learning of the information in explanatory text based on reading intensity of the XI grade students at Madrasah Aliyah by using the SQ3R is an effective learning method. The result of this learning has increased by 12.23, from an average of 66.51 to 78.74. This is evidenced by the sign value=0.000<0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in the learning outcomes of the experimental group pretest posttest using the SQ3R learning method

The Malay language that is spoken in Karimun Regency is a unique and diverse language. The uniqueness and diversity of the Malay language lies in phonology. The purpose of this study is to analyze the phonological variations and phonological differences of the Malay language in Karimun Regency, Riau Islands. The focused places of this study are located in three districts, namely Karimun District, West-Kundur District and Moro District. This study uses a dialect geography approach and qualitative descriptive. The data were collected by using the listening that is followed by simak libat cakap method, recording, and taking notes technique. The results showed that the Karimun Malay language has phonological variations in the form of vowel and consonant variations. Phonological variations happen due to geographic locations between different observation areas and they are obliviously limited to other regions. The phonological differences of the Karimun Malay language in the three observation places are categorized in speech difference. The results of data calculated is analyzed the phonological dialectometric method of Karimun Malay language in the three observation places is 4-7% in percentage.

Learning model is standardization for developing the one's skill and in the interpersonal situations. This study aims to determine the effect of learning models to the test results of the students’ writing skill of the explanation text in class VIII grade at junior high school. This research is an ex-post-facto research. The population of this research is all students of VIII grade at SMP of the 2019/2020 academic year. The sample in this study were students of class VIIIA and VIIIB SMP N 22 Semarang with the amount of 64 students who were taken by cluster random sampling, namely by choosing two classes randomly. Data collection techniques were questionnaires for student learning model data and tests to obtain data on the results of the skill to write explanation text for class VIIIA and VIIIB students. The results showed that (1) students with auditory learning models had the highest average score rather than the others who use visual and other learning models. (2) the learning model in this study has a significant effect on the results of the students; skill to write explanation text. (3) The learning model in this study gives e a large effective contribution 89.9% to the results of the students’ writing skill of explanation text; this proved that the learning model is one of the important factors for the students' achievement in writing skill of explanation text.

This research aims to analyze the humanist expressive speech acts of journalists in the covid-19 outbreak. The data collection technique was carried out by using the free non-participatory technique. The sources of data are the journalists’ utterances on YouTube in the covid-19 Outbreak. The humanist expressive speech act forms used by journalists, is 58% used the direct speech act forms with imperative, interrogative, and declarative modes; and 42% forms of indirect speech acts were declarative-imperative and declarative-interrogative modes. Results of this study shows that journalists use the forms of direct speech acts with declarative mode mostly. The form of indirect speech acts with the declarative-imperative mode are mostly used by the journalists. This research is important to be a journalist's guide so that the utterances spoken can be accepted by the society in the covid-19 outbreak

Literary learning materials are one of the important components used by teachers in learning activities. Good learning materials can help students achieve learning goals. Sources of literature learning materials tend to focus on reference books from the government. Even though there are still many literary learning materials that can be used, one is novel. The research objective was to describe the teacher's response to Satin Merah's novel by Brahmanto Anindito and Rie Yanti as literary learning material at Senior High School. This research uses a pragmatic approach. The research is based on the reception of Indonesian language teachers at the Senior High School level on the feasibility of a novel based on the feasibility assessment of the BSNP in terms of content, language, and presentation. This study indicates that Satin Merah's novel's feasibility level is 82.5%, which means that this novel is feasible and has a good reputation as literary learning material at Senior High School. The feasibility results are shown in terms of content feasibility of 84.2%, language feasibility of 81.5%, and presentation feasibility of 82%. In terms of content, this novel develops self-potential, has creativity and depth of story, and develops readers' characters to love and preserve local culture. In terms of language, the language used is following Indonesian rules and according to the target audience. In terms of presentation, this novel pays attention to the building blocks and mostly develops characters and inspires readers.

The enrichment book is one of the supporting tools of learning activities directed in developing of students’ knowledge, insights, and skills. The purpose of this research is to describe the profile and acceptability of the development of enrichment book in writing negotiation texts based on the 21st century’s competencies that are in appropriate with the students’ and educators’ needs. This research was conducted by seven stages that used a research and development design. The seven stages are (1) potential and problems, (2) information and data collection, (3) design of book’s profile, (4) validation test (5) revision (6) limited trial, and (7) final revision. The result of this research is a development of enrichment book for writing negotiation texts that is compiled with 21st century’s competencies (4C) which is directed at 21stcentury learning. The negotiation text that is developed contains of the 21st century’s competencies aspects, namely critical-thinking, creative, communicative, and collaborative. The acceptability of enrichment books for educators and students is an enrichment book that helps them understand and increase their knowledge of the materials in writing negotiation texts, and the presentation of enrichment book is adjusted to students’ characteristics and their development level. The theoretical benefits of this research can be used as an alternative theory in developing an enrichment book that is customized to the need of 21st century’s students. The practical benefit can be used as a guide-book for the educators.
