Data collection methods used were observation, interviews, and documentation, with technical analysis of triangulation data. The results showed that learning Indonesian conversation skills using the method of sam'iyah syafahiyah (oral audio). The learning process begins with mentioning and reading vocabulary by the teacher, and then students participate in the pronunciation three times. Learning is evaluated by asking questions to students about the vocabulary that has been given, and students respond verbally. Students are also required to make vocabulary sentences given orally by the teacher. The use of this method encourages the success of the Arab environment where students speak Arabic every day and lead to an interactive, communicative and enjoyable learning environment, so students do not feel bored. Teaching speaking skills in secondary schools in Nigeria depends entirely on the ability of students to speak Arabic and develop their verbal skills in various forms of dialogue, debate, competition, etc. This happens under the domination of the teacher, who notes in their words about deficiencies and failures, which are corrected with statements and clarification and convincing guidance. There are similarities and differences between Indonesia and Nigeria, for example the similarities in the teaching system and the problems faced by students in learning speaking skills with the teacher explaining how to solve this problem by finding practical solutions.</p>

ABSTRACT           The objectives of this study are: to find out how muhadatsah learning includes planning, implementation and assessment. Knowing what problems are faced by students and teachers in muhadatsah learning, and what Arabic teacher solutions are in overcoming problems faced by students at MTs Negeri 6 Barito Kuala and MTs Pondok Pesantren Dakwah Islamiyah.             This research is a type of field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. In collecting data using observation and interview methods. Documentary, from primary and secondary data sources. Furthermore, it is analyzed using the analysis description technique, and the validity of the data is checked by using the technique, interpretation, triangulation of methods, and triangulation of data sources.            The results showed that the implementation of the Arabic learning process was carried out in 3 stages of learning, the first was the preparation stage, at this stage the Arabic teachers at MTs N 6 Barito Kuala and at MTs Dakwah Islamiyah made planned preparations, as stated in the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). . The two stages of the implementation of learning, at this stage the Arabic language teachers at the two madrasas could not fully carry out the learning process according to the lesson plans, because the situations and conditions of students and schools were not supportive. The learning method used in each lesson seems the same. The three stages of learning evaluation, at this stage the Arabic language teachers in the two madrasas only conduct an evaluation at the end of the lesson, which should be evaluated during the learning process and at the end of the lesson. Meanwhile, the problems faced are linguistic and non-linguistic problems. In linguistic problems, there are still many students who are not fluent in pronouncing hijaiyah letters and with vocabulary pronunciation, so they find it difficult to memorize mufradat, understand and apply the rules that have been learned. In non-linguistic problems, when the muhadtsah learning takes place, the teacher uses the mother tongue more as the language of instruction, as a result students are also not used to speaking Arabic, the students have little vocabulary, low interest and motivation, limited time, facilities and facilities. limited family, school and social environment that is less supportive.                   The implication of this thesis is that it becomes a means to overcome the problems of speaking Arabic skills at MTs N 6 Barito Kuala and at MTs Da'wah Islamiyah, and expects all parties, especially Arabic teachers to create a more accustomed environment to use.

The Arabic language teaching has been developed rapidly through this modern era as a result of the world wide acceptance to study this language. Language enthusiasts as well as the scholars have noticed some development of Arabic language on several ways as well as its advancement according to the linguistic and geographic condition of learners. This study aims to understand some differences of Arabic language teaching for students who speak in single rooted language and students who speak in multiple rooted language. The single rooted language one took a sample from Assalam Islamic Boarding School where all of the student came from single rooted language, Malay language. While another one took a sample from An-Nile Center of Arabic Language Study for Foreigner, Cairo where the students came from several roots of languages, such as Malay, European, Russian, Turkish, African, and so on. In addition, this study aims to understand some difficulties and challenges the students and teachers face, and compare the percentage results of 4 language development skills between the two groups. The result of this study, based on those two institutions’ Arabic teaching methods, it is concluded that the comparison result of 4 language skills shows that the Arabic teaching method for Multiple Rooted Foreign Speakers (Taken from An-Nile Arabic Language Center) is better than Arabic teaching for the single rooted language speakers, especially on the speaking skill. In another side, we found that one of reasons why Arabic teaching method for foreigners from single rooted language speakers is weaker— is due to the tendency of language teachers to perform translation for Arabic words into their own particular language and the less of creative media invention uses which allow them to explain Arabic words with Arabic language.
