The purpose of this research is to produce a learning audiovisual media that is suitable for the material of build a flat side room in SMP Negeri 6 Mataram. The method used in this research is according to Luther, is multimedia development life cycle (MDLC). MDLC have 6 steps, there are concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. Field testing was used in this research are validation test, practical test, and test for the learning media’s effectiveness. In validation test, the result of this research is validated by some experts. The practical test was carried out by 2 practitioners and the test for effectiveness was based on the results of the questionnaire which were filled in by 74 students (37 students of class VIII and 37 students of grade IX). Instrumen indicators are based on the feasibility of the media according to Thorn. The results of the validation test showed an average score of 3.14, with a very good category. Meanwhile, the results of the practical test with an average score are 3.39 in the very good category, and the results of the effectiveness test with an average score of 2.86 in the good category. So it can be concluded that the audiovisual learning media that have been developed are suitable for use in learning mathematics.

Learning media always develops the following technological developments. Likewise, the media in learning is listening to Indonesian. The development of learning media is important. Adobe Flash-based media developed to facilitate lecturers and students in learning Indonesian listening skills in the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program. Media that are designed to be interesting may not only train cognitive knowledge but also practice practical listening skills. Adobe Flash-based media for listening are designed by displaying several menus, namely the home menu, RPS (Semester Learning Plan), materials, practices, games, music, profiles, and references, as well as close menus appearing in accordance with the cross (x) to be used using the application. The hope media developed was able to assist lecturers in delivering learning material, as well as helping students learn well in the classroom and outside the classroom.

In conventional learning, teachers frequently face difficulties to deliver their materials due to limited time and practical materials in teaching network computer. Conventional teaching process, especially practical materials, has still not yet been optimal. Thus, computer and multimedia based learning is required to help the students. Besides it can reduce costs in practical materials procurement, the students can absorb the given knowledge well without thinking of the costs to buy the practical materials. Computer Assisted Instruction Method can present the learning using various media either by picture or video that can assist the effective learning process and simplify the students to manage the learning speed since it is combined with the multimedia. By doing this, the students can practice the lesson materials, study whenever and wherever they want. Compuer learning application prioritize user interface, user friendly, which can make the students be diligent and passionate in learning.

Sustainable management and conservation of tropical trees and forests require accurate identification of tree species. Reliable, user-friendly identification tools based on macroscopic morphological features have already been developed for various tree floras. Wood anatomical features provide also a considerable amount of information that can be used for timber traceability, certification and trade control. Yet, this information is still poorly used, and only a handful of experts are able to use it for plant species identification. Here, we present an interactive, user-friendly tool based on vector graphics, illustrating 99 states of 27 wood characters from 110 Amazonian tree species belonging to 34 families. Pl@ntWood is a graphical identification tool based on the IDAO system, a multimedia approach to plant identification. Wood anatomical characters were selected from the IAWA list of microscopic features for hardwood identification, which will enable us to easily extend this work to a larger number of species. A stand-alone application has been developed and an on-line version will be delivered in the near future. Besides allowing non-specialists to identify plants in a user-friendly interface, this system can be used with different purposes such as teaching, conservation, management, and selftraining in the wood anatomy of tropical species.

Process layout in the digital version is no different from print media, which distinguishes its output only. In the process to any design layout of a medium, a designer is still expected to possess and master the basic principles such as layout hierarchy, emphasis, balance, and unity.

The study analyzes the news content of three national television channels in Bolivia (one public and two private), where the treatment of news on gender violence is observed. The methodology proposed by Monitoreo Global de Medios, which addresses gender and media issues, is applied. At the same time, the dimensions of media literacy proposed by Ferrés and Piscitelli (2012) are analyzed in university women who observed the news broadcast on television. The findings show that there are more women (59.05%) than men (40.95%) as protagonists of the articles on gender violence, and that sexist stereotypes are reinforced in the presentation of the news. After applying the questionnaire to 200 university women, the technology dimension reached an advanced level (46.7%) based on knowledge of technological concepts and image processing software. However, the dimension of interaction processes has a high percentage of 59.5% at the basic level, as there is a lack of knowledge of the possibilities of acting critically in the face of violent content presented in the media.

In the area of psychosis, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a mental disorder included with the major deficits associated with social interaction, communication, and repetitive or stereotypical behavior. A large number of computer-assisted approaches have been developed over the last few decades to improve the lifestyle of the subject with ASD. The aim of this study is to provide a detailed review of computational advancements for ASD interventions. This chapter summarizes the basic theories in autism and also discusses the technological developments of autism in the present era. With the enrichment in technological developments, researchers and experts focused on the monitoring and improvement of the skills (social, communication, and behavioral) in individuals with autism-related disorders. In conclusion, the work presented in this chapter summarizes that the evolutionary computational interventions have a remarkable possibility for the monitoring and basic skills enhancement in ASD.
