The world of education is currently entering the era of the media world, where learning activities demand reduction of lecture methods and Should be replaced by the use of many medias. In relation to the function of instructional media, it can be emphasized as follows: as a tool to make learning more effective, accelerate the teaching and learning process and improve the quality of teaching and learning process. This research aimed to develop a learning video programming basic materials algorithm that is appropriate to be applied as a learning resource in class X SMK. This study was also aimed to know the feasibility of learning video media developed. The research method used was research was research and development using development model developed by Alessi and Trollip (2001). The development model was divided into 3 stages namely Planning, Design, and Develpoment. Data collection techniques used interview method, literature method and instrument method. In the next stage, learning video was validated or evaluated by the material experts, media experts and users who are implemented to 30 Learners. The result of the research showed that video learning has been successfully made on basic programming subjects which consist of 8 scane video. Based on the learning video validation result, the percentage of learning video's eligibility is 90.5% from material experts, 95.9% of media experts, and 84% of users or learners. From the testing result that the learning videos that have been developed can be used as learning resources or instructional media programming subjects basic materials algorithm.

<p>This research was conducted for the purpose of getting a clear and complete <br />picture conserning the quality of teaching and learning process through eveloping and implementing jigsaw type cooparative learning model for subject of Thermodynamics. The quality of teaching and learning process can be viewed by positive response of university students towards thermodynamics subject using the implemented jigsaw type cooparative learning model. The subject of this research were students of high school class X, semester II in the academic year of 2011/2012, which were listed as learning tools needed for thermodynamics of jigsaw type cooparative learning model. The learning tool which were being developed consist of teaching materials, learning plan, and student worksheet. The research prosedure consisted of developing the tools of teaching and learning process, and the followed by realization of learning in class using the jigsaw type cooparative learning approach. The research instruments were to be observation sheet and student response questionaire towards the learning process. The reseach data were analyzed using percentage statistic. Based on the refection result towards the action which was planned beforehand and also the researh result discussion, it was found that the learning process of hermodynamics which was done by implementing the jigsaw type cooparative learning model can increase student activity in his study. Implementing the jigsaw type cooperative learning can increase the learning result of students. Most of the students who partisipated in the thermodynamics class agree and give a positive apreciation towards the implementation of cooperative learning model. They believe that with the learning group can help them overcoming the learning deterrent. </p><p> </p>

This research uses action research for three cycles. Each cycle consists of one meeting each of which consists of four stages: design, activity and observation of reflection and revision. The target of this research is Master of Kepengawasan District School Cluster 05 Magersari Subdistrict Mojokerto City 15 people. The data obtained in the form of the results of supervision assessment of teaching and learning process. The success of the learning process in cycle III shows that the cycle can be stopped because it has met the target of> 70%. This is evident from the average increase in teacher performance per cycle. The conclusions of this research are: The quality of teaching and learning process through supervisory function in integrated quality management in Kepengawasan Area School Cluster 05 Magersari Sub-district Mojokerto City has increased, it can be seen from the average of teacher performance improvement from 65,87 percent in cycle I, to 76.67 in Cycle II and increased to 82.86 percent in Cycle III.

The current study investigated the outlook of sandwich programmes from the lenses of students, based on the acceptability of the programme, quality of the teaching and learning process as well as the challenges sandwich students face. With a survey research design, 250 sandwich students answered questions on the three constructs. At the end of the study, the researchers found evidence that there were no significant differences in the acceptability of sandwich programme, quality of sandwich programmes, challenges of sandwich students, based on gender as well as age. Males and females as well as older and younger students provided similar responses. Secondly, there was a significant difference in the three constructs, based on programme of study. Students offering different programmes provided different information. Thirdly, out of the three constructs, the challenges that sandwich students face had a significant difference in terms of their employment status. Students who were employed and those who were not employed gave different responses. Fourthly, there was a strong positive correlation among the three constructs. Finally, age, quality of sandwich programmes, and challenges of sandwich student’s constructs were good predictors of the acceptability of the sandwich programmes. The researchers recommend that there should be a close look at the age of students, the quality of teaching and learning process, and the challenges of sandwich students in order to determine the sustenance of sandwich programmes. Keywords: Acceptability of Sandwich Programme, Quality of Sandwich Programmes, Challenges of Sandwich Students, Sandwich Students, Distance Education.
