Tourism and information technology are two things that are currently interrelated. The use of information technology in the tourism sector is very influential in its current development. One of the information technologies approaches used is the information system regarding tourist destinations in Indonesia. The use of the information system is used to make it easy for media users to access information about tourist destinations. All kinds of information conveyed from destinations, routes, attractions, facilities, and others are combined into one information system. In this paper, we present an information system landscape of indonesia tourism destination. We review information system usage for tourism destination. We show that the use of the information system for tourist location destinations can continue to be developed to get the trust of its users, starting from the facilities in the system, to the benefits of its use such as ease of search, ordering or reservation, and others. Finally, we present open problems for future research recommendations.

The objective of the case study presented here was to develop and investigate the use of a novel e-health technology called the Memory Stone. This personal device was intended to be used for storing information and enabling communication with the healthcare information system. It would also serve as an intimate repository during the pregnancy, and as such, function as a learning tool during the course of a pregnancy. Using a participatory design approach, the work was performed in collaboration between a multidisciplinary research team, ten pregnant women, and eight healthcare professionals including midwives, general practitioners and medical specialists. In this chapter, some more or less problematic issues encountered during the case study will be discussed and put forward as topics to be considered in future research concerning e-health technology. This discussion includes areas such as initiative versus creativity, methodological issues, stakeholder interests, and other difficulties when introducing novel information technology in a healthcare context.

Tourism causes important environmental impacts and can generate great pressure on local resources, such as land, water, energy and food, generating large amounts of waste, as well as problems of congestion, noise and air pollution. The circular economy is presented as an alternative model to the linear model, which recognizes the fundamental role of the environment, its functions and the interaction between the environment and the economic system. The hotel sector and the tourism sector in general, have been criticized for not adequately addressing environmental problems and global warming. In order to carry out the transition to a circular economy (CE), it is essential to innovate in business models, designing a circular business model. The objective of this work is to design guidelines on possible actions and opportunities that allow us to carry out a successful transition towards a circular model in hotel companies, as well as to design a model for this transition in a tourism destination, analyzing the roles of the different agents in this transition. Findings identified the main opportunities and benefits of this transition in the hotel sector and describes a three-axis model to carry out this transition in a tourism destination, identifying the roles of public administrations and DMOs, resident population and the tourism sector. Future research implications are also discussed.

Methods: The method of parsing analysis and the method of social modeling for analyzing problem issues in the organization of the  student's practice process and the creation of an appropriate IT project has been applied. Results: A variant of innovative solution and optimization of information provision of the process of organizing various types of student practice with the use of modern information technologies is offered - web-oriented information system. The functionality of the created web-based information system "Practice" has been prepared, tested and described. Web-IP Practice is developed as a web application, the server part of which is implemented on the basis of the AMP software package, which includes: Apache, MySQL, PHP. The components of this complex are distributed with free licenses, thus, the Web IP Practice can function without the usage of expensive software. The modular structure of the system makes it possible to set up access, registration and authentication and manage user data, manage events and generate reporting documents for organization and practice. The proposed web-IP Practice provides opportunities for the following tasks: - informing students about organization and passing of practice; - preparation of documentation package on organization and passing of practice; - management and control of the process of passing the practice; - formation of reporting materials.
