ADOLESCENT SOCIAL ADJUSTMENT OF SINGLE SEX SCHOOLS. Teenagers sometimes have the inability to overcome the conflicts they face. This inability can be seen from the behavior of not finding the right ways to overcome problems, resolve demands from the environment, unable to build good relationships with others, hard to believe and be accepted by other people or their environment. The study aims to determine social adjustment in adolescent single sex schools which is a practice of learning by dividing students according to gender, male students are in a classroom with the same sex, and vice versa. The results of evaluations carried out on single sex schools, there are several problems that hinder the task of adolescent development, one of which is the aspect of social adjustment. The study was conducted using a survey method in class XII students of one of the boarding school high schools in Bandung. The results showed 50% of students included in the category of well-adjustment, and 50% of students included in the category of maladjustment. Therefore, it is necessary to formulate an appropriate requirement for guidance and counseling services designed for the development of boarding school students’ self-adjustment.

Guidance and counseling service is useful for students in Islamic Boarding Schools but to determine service based on the requirement of students is difficult. This research purposed to describe the results ofDevelopmental Task Inventory(ITP) to help students find developmental tasks that have not been achieved. This research used survey method. The respondents of this research six classes with the amount of 445 students in two Boarding School of Yogyakarta. The results showed that the achievement of development tasks students above the average growth rate of 3.75. The task of development is not yet achieved (3.75). Based on these results, the researcher sees each class having differences in aspects of development tasks that have not been achievedand require different guidance and counseling services.

Counseling is the core of the implementation of guidance and counseling services at the school as a whole. The success of counseling is a guarantee for the success of different types of guidance and counseling services. Unfortunately, not many students who voluntarily went to a counselor for help through the implementation of counseling. This research aims to describe the motivation of students to attend counseling. The research used survey method with 316 students of High School students. The results show that most students have not been motivated to follow counseling. Based on these findings, further research is needed on the factors that influence student motivation, as well as the efforts should be done by counselors and other stakeholders to increase students' motivation to attend counseling.

<p>During the COVID-19 pandemic, guidance and counseling teachers are demanded to keep running counseling services using various alternatives of online learning applications. At the same time, parents as the main assistants in the online counseling process should actively encourage their children to have active participation. It is because the majority of parents consider that all the things related to school activities are totally teachers’ responsibility. Thus, the present study attempted to find, reveal, and describe the role of parents in the implementation of supporting technology for online counseling services during the COVID-19 pandemic. To do so, the researchers adopted an online survey method and cross-sectional technique to analyze the data of 350 student's parents in Semarang Regency as the respondents of this study. Islamic boarding school Sidogiri is one of the school which has 8.400 male students. The sanitary conditions of Islamic boarding school are closely related to the contagion rate of contagious environment-based diseases, one of which is Hepatitis A. Islamic boarding school Sidogiri experiencing Hepatitis A outbreak in 2014, attacked as many as 111 students. This research was conducted to find out the correlation between students behavior (knowledge, attitude, and action) with incident and prevalence of Hepatitis A. The type of research was analytic observational research by analyzing behavior with the occurrence of Hepatitis A (IgG and IgM). The study was conducted in Islamic boarding school Sidogiri Kraton subdistrict in Pasuruan district from July 2017 until March 2018. The population in this study were all students in Islamic boarding school Sidogiri. Sample selection was done randomly so that got sample amount 38 people. The result of this research mentioned that attitude and action factor have significant influence to the occurrence of hepatitis A (IgG) with p-value equal to 0.017. The lower the attitudes and actions, the higher the prevalence of IgG. While the action factor has a significant effect on the incidence of Hepatitis A (IgM) with p value of 0.001. The lower the action, the higher the prevalence of IgM. Socialization, promotion and health education needs to be done to reduce the risk of contracting hepatitis A. The purpose of this study was to examine the practices and challenges of guidance and counseling services in southwest Ethiopia secondary schools with the intention of understanding the state of secondary school guidance and counseling and forward improvement options to student service. The study employs a descriptive survey design that involves quantitative and qualitative research methods. The study participants were 392 students and 108 teachers who were selected from the secondary schools of southwest Ethiopia by systematic random sampling. Moreover, 8 counselors, 8 principals, and 8 educational bureau officers were selected by a means of availability sampling.  The data for the study were collected by the administration of questionnaires and the use of oral interviews. The quantitative data were analyzed using the frequency of student visits to guidance and counseling office and mean perception score on practices of guidance and counseling. The qualitative data were analyzed using the thematic analysis method with a focus on the major challenges of guidance and counseling services in the sampled schools. The result of the study showed that the majority of secondary school students never visit guidance and counseling offices. The mean perception score of students and teachers towards the usefulness of the service was positive though the provision was either very much limited or most of the time unavailable. The services of guidance and counseling are also influenced by several challenges such as the lack of professionally trained counselors and the required facilities. The researchers conclude the implication of guidance and counseling service and the associated challenges to considerably influence secondary school student learning and personal wellbeing.

This research purposed to describe the results of AUM PTSDL and its use by Guidance and Counseling Teacher or Counselor for Guidance and Counseling services to students. This research used descriptive method with qualitative and quantitative approach. The instruments of research used AUM PTSDL Format 2, The format of BMB3 and guideline for interview. The results of research are analyzed statistically and narrative. This research shows that AUM PTSDL results of Senior High School students in Padang who became samples in form quality score of learning activities still very low or less is average 36.30% from ideal score, and also their learning problems pretty much is average 28,14% from number of learning problems that may exist. Response dynamics of BMB3 student to data of AUM PTSDL results are quite positive, means that students are aware of their flaws and eager to fix it. Guidance and Counseling Teacher or Counselor welcomes positively to awareness and enthusiasm of students accompanied prepare themselves in use AUM PTSDL and utilization results to improve the quality of their learning activities by Guidance and Counseling services, which organized through various types of services and their supporting activities in specific format. The school’s leadership have role in facilitating the implementation of Guidance and Counseling services and supports Guidance and Counseling Teacher or Counselor performance at school.

ABSTRACT Learning motivation can be defined as internal and external encouragement in the students to make a change over their behavior. Someone’s learning motivation is affected by various factors which might come either from themselves or from outside. The factor is  gender residence. The purpose of this research was to reveal of religious program insenior high school students learning motivation viewed from residence and its implication in guidance and counseling. This research method was ex post facto by using a factorial design 2 x 2. The population of this research was the students of religious program in senior high school that consist of 108 people. All of the population was taken as the sample. The instrument of the research was Likert scale model. The data obtained in this research was analyzed by using analysis of variant (ANOVA).The results of data analysis indicated that: learning motivation of the students who lived in the boarding school and those who did not live in the boarding school was in high category in which there was not significant difference between learning motivation of student who lived in the boarding school and those who did not live in the boarding school. Keyword : Learning Motivation, Residence ABSTRAKMotivasi belajar merupakan dorongan internal dan eksternal pada diri siswa yang sedang belajar untuk mengadakan perubahan tingkahlaku. Motivasi belajar siswa banyak dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor yang berasal dari dalam diri dan luar diri. Faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar diantaranya adalah tempat tinggal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan motivasi belajar siswa Madrasah Aliyah Keagamaan (MAK) ditinjau dari tempat tinggal serta implikasinya pada layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah ex post facto dengan desain faktorial 2 x 2. Populasinya adalah siswa MAK sebanyak 108 orang dan dijadikan sampel penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah model skala Likert. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis varian (ANAVA). Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa:  motivasi belajar siswa ditinjau dari tempat tinggal yaitu siswa yang tinggal di asrama dan yang tidak tinggal di asrama berada pada kategori tinggi, dan tidak terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar antara siswa yang tinggal di asrama dan yang tidak tinggal di asrama. Kata Kunci : Motivasi Belajar, Tempat Tinggal

Abstract: This research goal is to develop a group counseling guide for psychodrama techniques to overcome problems psychological well-being in junior high school students. Guidelines are used by counselors in providing guidance and counseling services that have accuracy, usefulness, convenience, and attractiveness, and can be both beneficial and acceptable. theory and practicality. The research method used is the Borg and Gall research model in 7 stages, namely (1) data collection, (2) planning, (3) designing the initial media format, (4) validation testing, (5) product revision, 6) product user testing. , 7) final revision. The results of the validation test from material experts showed a validity index of 0.73 and was included in the high category, media experts showed a percentage of 3.89 which was included in the very high category and potential product users with a percentage of 3.77 were still in the very high category. These results indicate that the guide developed by the researcher has met the acceptance criteria and is suitable for use by counselors as a guide in providing guidance and counseling services in schools. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan panduan konseling kelompok teknik psikodrama untuk mengatasi masalah psychological well-being pada siswa SMP. Panduan digunakan oleh konselor dalam memberikan layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang memiliki ketepatan, kegunaan, kemudahan, dan kemenarikan, serta dapat bermanfaat sekaligus diterima secara teori maupun kepraktisannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model penelitian Borg and Gall dalam 7 tahap yaitu (1) pengumpulan data, (2) perencanaan, (3) merancang format awal media, (4) uji validasi, (5) revisi produk, 6) uji pengguna produk, 7) revisi akhir. Hasil uji validasi dari ahli materi menunjukan indeks validitas sebesar 0,73 dan masuk dalam kategori tinggi, ahli media menunjukan persentase sebesar 3,89 masuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi dan calon pengguna produk dengan persentase 3,77 masih dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Hasil tersebut menunjukan bahwa panduan yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti telah memenuhi kriteria keberterimaan dan layak digunakan oleh konselor sebagai panduan dalam memberikan layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah.

Lesbian behavior affects adolescents. It happens because, physically, adolescent have experienced growth of maturity in sexual function that is why the sexual drive is getting stronger. Several factors that influence the tendency of lesbians mostly happen in early adulthood. This research was development research with the ADDIE model. The total participants of this study were 183 junior high school students chosen by using purposive sampling. In the analysis phase, the researchers identified the tendency of adolescents to behave in lesbians in some ways, such as used self-identification instruments, determined e-module material (design), developed instruments to determine eligibility by experts and the use of e-modules by counselors (development), conducted limited trials to 30 students in the school (implementation), and assessed the overall aspects of product usage by the counselor at school (evaluation). Based on the development of this e-module, it can be concluded that the product was workable in content and appearance because it has been empirically tested and ready to be used for adolescent in school.

Guidance and Counseling in schools is a service that is held as one of the support of teaching and learning activities in schools. In its day-to-day activities guidance and counseling is organized by Guidance and Counseling teachers to implement four areas of counseling, counseling services, support activities that all can assist students in learning in school and living everyday life as learners. Based on its activities a Guidance and Counseling teacher needs to master the governance of Guidance and Counseling services in school, because a teacher Guidance and Counseling is a manager and implementer of every Guidance and Counseling service in school. Guidance and Counseling Teachers should be able to design Guidance and Counseling programs, make measurements, archive all counseling data relating to students to the evaluation. All such activities are called governance of Guidance and Counseling services in schools. Thus a Guidance and Counseling teacher has a significant role in governance of counseling and guidance services for students at school. A significant role of teachers Guidance and Counseling can help students in developing personality and ultimately students can plan their future according to capabilities possessed.
