Abstract. This study discusses the influence of the scientific approach to mathematical learning outcomes. The type of research used in this writing is quasi-experimental, with scientific approach data collection on students' mathematical learning outcomes. Data analysis used with Simple Regression Analysis Test. Based on the analysis obtained by the results of the study, namely: the relationship or correlation between learning approaches with student learning outcomes with regression , with . The values for testing the data can use the Anova table   and the significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. So that it can be said that the values of the two data are different. Thus, it can be concluded that there is the influence of the scientific approach to students' mathematical learning outcomes. This shows that the learning approach has a significant effect on students' mathematical learning outcomes. The coefficient of determination is   means that the contribution or influence of the santifik approach (X) on the students' mathematical learning outcomes (Y) is . Thus, the scientific approach is better at contributing to students' mathematical learning outcomes.Keywords: Scientific Approach, Learning Outcomes

ABSTRACT [Relationship between Groundwater Surface Depth with Salinity at the Coast of New Kungkai Beach and its Implementation on Discovery Learning Model]. The aims of this study were 1) to describe the relationship between groundwater surface depth with salinity in the coastal areas of new kungkai beach of Seluma, and 2) to determine the improvement of learning outcomes (cognitive) of high ability students, moderate and low by using discovery learning model on the concept of static fluid in class X computer and network engineering at SMK Negeri 3 Seluma. This research was a quasi experimental research with one groups pretest-posttest design. The results showed: 1) The relationship between depth with salinity has a value of 0.6478 with a significance level of 0.001 (<0.05); 2) Learning with discovery learning model can improve student learning outcomes on cognitive aspects (knowledge). Increased cognitive results can be seen from the average value of the initial test, the final test and the average value of gain in the class x Tkj is high-ability groups are at high criteria with a value of 0.75 gain in the group is in the criteria medium with the value of gain 0,52 and in the low group were in moderate criteria with a gain value of 0.44. There is a difference in learning outcomes between the high, medium and low groups. The difference is shown by Fcount > Ftable (4.04 > 3.35) with a significance level of 5%. Keywords: Groundwater surface depth; salinity; discovery learning model; SMKN 3 Seluma.

Social interaction is the relationship between one individual and another individual, one individual can influence other individuals so that there is reciprocity. The better the students' social interactions, the better their learning outcomes will be. Learning outcomes examined in this study are affective learning outcomes. This study aims to reveal whether the better social interaction, the better the affective learning outcomes of fifth grade students in SDN throughout Kaliwates Jember District. The population of this research is the fifth grade students of SDN in Kaliwates Jember District. This study is a correlation study with a population of 182 and a sample of 25 students. The main methods of collecting data are questionnaire and observation. To test the research hypothesis using the product moment correlation formula with the help of SPSS 20 at a significance level of 5%. The results of the research analysis obtained the value of r_count> r_tabel (0.748> 0.266) and the coefficient of determination 56%. This shows that social interaction has a contribution of 56% to affective learning outcomes the remaining 44% is influenced by other factors. It can be concluded that the better social interaction, the better the affective learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN in Kaliwates Jember District. Keywords: Social Interaction, and Affective Learning Outcomes

The purpose of this research  was to determine the effect of a contextual approach on students' mathematical understanding and communication abilities in terms of their initial mathematical ability (KAM) in the Pythagorean Theorem class VIII material. This research was conducted at MTs Al Ihsan Serang City in the academic year 2019-2020 even semester. Methods The research method used is a quasi-experimental, data collection techniques, namely the ability to test mathematical understanding and communication, hypothesis testing using a two-way manova with a significance level of 5%. Before testing the hypothesis, the analysis prerequisite test was carried out, namely the multivariate normality and homogeneity test, the test results were the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. From the results of the analysis test using MANOVA, it can be concluded that: there are differences in the mathematical understanding and communication abilities of students who get a contextual approach with students who get a scientific approach, there are differences in the mathematical understanding and communication abilities of students who get a contextual approach with students who get a scientific approach between high KAM and low, and there is no interaction between learning approaches and KAM on students' mathematical understanding and communication skills Keywords: Contextual Approach, understanding, mathematical communication, KAM


This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the developed pharmaceutical Indonesian language textbooks with Scientific Approach in Indonesian language subject in Pharmacy Vocational Schools in Kendal Regency. This study was a quasi-experimental design on the implementation of the developed pharmaceutical Indonesian language textbooks to all grade ten students of the Pharmacy Vocational Schools. Respondents of this study were 97 students who took part in learning using the Ministry of Education and Culture’s textbooks and the developed pharmaceutical textbooks with scientific approach. The t-test results at 0.005 significance level indicate that the implementation of the developed pharmaceutical Indonesian language textbooks with scientific approach is effective because it has an effect on improving the Indonesian language learning outcomes. Students’ average scores of learning outcomes have increased by learning using the pharmaceutical Indonesian language textbooks. Students’ learning outcomes from the five schools have increased as follow: (1) student learning outcomes at Azzahro vocational school increased by 4.45; (2) an increase of 9.17 in student learning outcomes at Bhakti Kencana vocational school; (3) an increase of 5.42 in student learning outcomes at Insan Medika vocational school; (4) an increase in student learning outcomes at Ngesti Widhi vocational school by 5.77; and (5) an increase in student learning outcomes at Taman Siswa Boja vocational school by 4.60. The increase in the score indicates that the implementation of the developed pharmaceutical Indonesian language textbooks with scientific approach for grade ten students of the Pharmacy Vocational Schools is feasible because it has a positive effect on the student learning outcomes.

STEM education at UTM uses the OBE model in its effort to ensure its students are qualified and able to compete in a climate of global development and technological advancement. In line with this, the authors embarked in transforming their teaching and learning approaches to meet these demands. In this chapter, they share some of their experiences in coping with the challenges of changing teaching practices to accommodate OBE. In redesigning the Engineering Mathematics course, the authors started by looking at meaningful mathematical learning and identifying skills that could be integrated with teaching. They used this information in helping to determine the desired learning outcomes. Then, they examined the relationship between the content, assessment, and teaching and learning approaches. For successful mathematical learning, they believed that students should participate actively in the knowledge construction, develop flexible thinking skills, be able to communicate their knowledge, and become independent learners. The authors discussed the strategies they designed and employed in engaging students with the subject matter as well as to initiate and support students’ thinking and communication in the language of mathematics. Indications of students struggle, progress, and growth that were taking place and the difficulties encountered in the research implementation are highlighted.

This study aims to determine the relationship of loneliness with problematic internet use on boarding students on Silaberanti street in Siantan jaya Opposite Ulu 1 Palembang city. Research subjects numbered 220 people using random sampling methods. Data was collected using a 60 item problematic internet use scale and a 60 item loneliness. Realibility is generated on scale of problematic internet use of 0,955 and loneliness of 0,946.Hypothesis testing uses product moment correlation analysis techniques. Hypothesis test results showed a positive relationshif between loneliness with problematic internet use on boarding students on Silaberanti street in Siantan jaya Opposite Ulu 1 Palembang city r= 0,684 with a significance level of 0,000 (p<0,01). Loneliness in this study made an effective contribution of 46,8% to problematic internet use which can be seen from the coefficient of determination (r²) that is equel to 0,468.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Harga dan Brand Trust Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian pada Sinergy Celular Medan.Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pengunjung Sinergy Celular Medan sebanyak 77 orang.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalui kuesioner (angket) yaitu dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada sampel (responden) dan mengumpulkannya kembali. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linear Berganda.Sebelum data diregresikan maka terlebih dahulu di uji keterkaitannya antara variabel, datanya diuji menggunakan uji normalitas data, multikolinearitas, dan heterokedastisitas.Serta untuk mengetahui kontribusi faktor Harga dan Brand TrustTerhadap Keputusan Pembelian digunakan rumus Koefisien Determinasi (R2). Hipotesis penelitian diterima apabila t hitung >  t tabel dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,1. Nilai t tabel dalam penelitian ini 1,993. Nilai t hitung variabel X1 sebesar 2,107 t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel maka hipotesis di terima, nilai t hitung variabel X2   sebesar 3,405 t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel maka hipotesis di terima. Kata kunci: Harga, Brand Trust, Keputusan Pembelian AbstractThis study aims to determine the Influence of Price and Brand Trust on Purchasing Decision at Sinergy Celular Medan. And to know the contribution of price factors and Brand Trust Against Purchase Decision is used the formula Coefficient of Determination (R2). Research hypothesis accepted if t arithmetic> t table with significance level 0,1. The value of t table in this study is 1,993. This study aims to determine and describe the relationship between financing management and the quality of diniyah education in Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah in the Bandung Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data collection technique is done by distributing questionnaires (questionnaires) and documentation with a sample of 37 people. The data analysis techniques used are research instrument trials, partial analysis, correlation analysis, and coefficient of determination (contribution) analysis. The results showed that the achievement of financing management and the quality of diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah education in Bandung Regency showed a significant relationship between financing management and the quality of diniyah education. The linearity test of financing management (X) and the quality of diniyah education (Y) obtained a value of F = 1.611 with a significance level of 0.218, so it can be interpreted that it has a positive and significant linear relationship. This study has implications for the importance of effective financing management in improving the quality of madrasah.

The formulation of this research problem is how the influence of Leadership and Job Satisfaction on Work Discipline at Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar. The research method used in this paper is literature research and field research. Its population is employees of Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar amounted to 57 people. The data used are data by qualitative and qualitative data, and data collection techniques by questionnaire, interview and documentation. Then the technique of data analysis using qualitative descriptive method and quantitative descriptive method. Results of analysis of multiple linier regression is Ŷ = 26,243 + 1,232X1 + 0,681X2, means there is a positive influence between leadership and job satisfaction on work discipline. The strength of the relationship between the three variables is strong, is r = 0,752. From the coefficient of determination can be explained high low work discipline 56,5%, and the remaining 43,5% explained by other factors that are not discussed in this study. From the results of processing and calculation of the questionnaire, the authors get the conclusion that the leadership and job satisfaction applied Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar have a positive and significant effect on work discipline. This is proven by hypothesis testing simultaneously, where the test result fhitung (35,062)> fhitung (3,17) with significance level 0,000 < alpha 0,05.
