Pesantren is an educational institution that has a long and unique history. Historically, pesantren were among the earliest Islamic educational institutions and still survive today. In contrast to educational institutions that emerged later, pesantren have been very instrumental in printing ulama cadres and then play an active role in the spread of Islam and the transfer of knowledge. However, in its development the pesantren has undergone a transformation that allows it to lose its identity if its traditional values are not preserved. Today the existence of pesantren has experienced such a development that the intended components are increasingly increasing and equipped with infrastructure and facilities. In its growth history, pesantren have undergone several phases of development including the existence of pesantren specifically mixing with these developments. This paper simply discusses the modernization of Islamic education in pesantren, which then reinforces it with the objectives, curriculum, human resources, learning methods, institutions, infrastructure and facilities and the resulting changes.

The teacher is one of the important components in the teaching and learning process that participates in the formation of potential human resources in the field of development. Therefore, the teacher must play an active role and place his position as a professional force, in accordance with the demands of a growing community. TPQ al-Maghfiroh is an Islamic educational institution located in the Pilangglenteng Hamlet of Karangsemi Village, Gondang District, Nganjuk Regency. Educators at TPQ have not mastered the full learning methods. The approach in this service uses the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach.

Quality human resources will affect the quality of an Islamic educational institution. One of the influential human resources in the development of Islamic educational institutions is the teacher. The principal as the leader of an educational institution is tasked with conducting an assessment of teacher performance. This article aims to explain the importance of teacher performance supervision activities in Islamic education institutions and how the results of teacher performance supervision in developing Islamic education institutions. This research is included in the research with a qualitative approach. It was concluded that the results of supervision of teacher performance are very important in an Islamic educational institution, and the results of supervision of teacher performance can develop the quality of Islamic education institutions.

Meunasah is one of the basic levels of traditional Islamic educational institutions in Aceh. Which to date continues to be vehement with recitation and other civic activities. aims to find out the origins and the development of meunasah as a basic traditional Islamic educational institution in Aceh. This research applied a literature study by collecting various references. The results showed that meunasah had existed since the formation of the Islamic community in Aceh. The development of meunasah as a traditional Aceh Islamic education institution was only discovered during the period of Sultan Iskandar Muda (1607-1636).

It is necessary for Islamic educational institutions to have the power of changing themselves to be able to take part in determining the ideal and success of national education. Precisely, today, Islamic educational sys­tem is perceived weak and powerless in the dynamic of social changes have been occurring in the society. Even, this situation, it is frequently assumed as the burden of national education. Why can it be so? Aren't Islamic educational providers are also referring to the only one Law, that is, Law Number 20 year 2003 regarding National Educational System? What is wrong with Islamic education ? How is the quality of human resources of these providers? This article tries to answer those questions. This article also deals with analogue of Islamic Education as a subsystem of national education with family system in Islam. Fam­ily is a system. Child is a subsystem of the family. The more the child is matured and independent the better his/her family is.

Abstract This study intends to explain the portrait of educational institutions fostered by Muslimat Education Foundation (YPM) NU in Kediri Regency, and try to describe the effectiveness of Muslimat NU in Kediri Regency in improving quality. This study seeks to describe in depth the problems in accordance with the data obtained in the field and on the interpretation of researchers. Muslimat NU is one of the organizations of many organizations in the community. Muslimat NU is a community organization and is an autonomous body of Nahdlatul Ulama whose task is helping to implement policies on women members. Among YPM's work programs in order to improve the quality of education in the district of Kediri are improving the quality of Al-Qur'an Kindergarten and play group, including on managerial aspects, facilities and infrastructure, administration, curriculum and Human Resources (teachers, managers and employees). Keywords: Educational Institution, YPM, NU, Quality Improvement Management ملخص الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو شرح صورة المؤسسات التعليمية التي تعقدها منظمة مسلمات نهضة العلماء (YPM) كاديري، ومحاولة وصف فعالية مساهمة تطوير منظمة مسلمات نهضة العلماء (YPM) كاديري في تحسين الجودة. تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى وصف هذه المشاكل بشكل متعمق وفقاً للبيانات التي تم الحصول عليها في الميدان وتفسير الباحثة. إن منظمة مسلمات نهضة العلماء هى احدى المنظمات في المجتمع و هي منظمة و هيئة مستقلة من جمعية نهضة العلماء ولها مسؤولة عن تنفيذ السياسات الخاصة بالأعضاء النساء، ومن بين برامج عمل المؤسسات التعليمية التي تعقدها منظمة مسلمات نهضة العلماء YPM لتحسين جودة التعليم في كديرى هى تحسين جودة روضة الأطفال ومؤسسة تعليم القرآن، بما في ذلك الجوانب الإدارية والمرافق والبنية التحتية والإدارة والمناهج والموارد البشرية (المدرسون والمديرون والموظفون). مفتاح الكلمات: المؤسسات التعليمية، المؤسسات التعليمية التي تعقدها مظمة مسلمات نهضة العلماء YPM، إدارة تحسين الجودة Abstrak Penelitian ini bermaksud menjelaskan potret lembaga pendidikan binaan Yayasan Pendidikan Muslimat (YPM) NU Kabupaten Kediri, dan berusaha mendiskripsikan efektivitas pembinaan PC Muslimat NU Kebupaten Kediri dalam peningkatan mutu. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam tentang permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut sesuai dengan data yang diperoleh di lapangan dan atas penafsiran peneliti. Muslimat NU merupakan salah satu organisasi dari sekian banyak organisasi yang ada di masyarakat. Muslimat NU adalah organisasi masyarakat dan merupakan badan otonom Nahdlatul Ulama yang bertugas membantu melaksankan kebijakan pada anggota perempuan. Diantara program kerja YPM dalam rangka meningkatkan mutu pendidikan yang ada di kabupaten Kediri adalah; Peningkatan kualitas Taman Kanak-Kanak dan Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an, di antaranya pada aspek manajerial, sarana dan prasarana, administrasi, kurikulum dan Sumber Daya Manusia (guru, pengelola dan karyawan). Educational institutions in which there is an educational process, have a function not only in the aspect of developing science, but also have a mission to improve the quality of personality through good character. In this position, the teacher has a role in instilling inclusive values (tasamuh) in the learning process that can be applied in everyday life as well as the process in developing the potential of their students. Each educational institution or each teacher will have different tasamuh values in each habituation or teaching. Get used to communicating with others using the language of unity, namely Indonesian, helping each other, not blaming others, especially fellow Muslims, especially other religions, and respecting different principles and respecting others. This study focuses on the views of Islamic Education teachers about the concept of tasamuh and the actualization of the tasamuh attitude of Islamic Education teachers in the learning process at SMK NU Lamongan, MTs Putra Putri Lamongan, SD NU Banat-Banin Lamongan. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. This study shows that teachers play a role in developing tolerant attitudes to students in the school environment, social groups and even the community, through habituation and learning Islamic Education. The teacher's perspective on inclusive attitudes also plays a role in shaping the personality of students to be more open and respect all differences.

<strong>Abstrak:</strong> Asumsi dasar kajian ini adalah hubungan Muslim dan Kristiani di Sumatera Utara berlangsung dalam berbagai domain dimana interaksinya bisa terjadi secara harmonis maupun disharmonis. Berpijak pada asumsi itu, fokus kajian ini akan menelaah bagaimana hubungan Muslim-Kristiani di Sumatera Utara berlangsung pada domain dunia pendidikan. Artikel ini hendak mengkaji hubungan Muslim dan Kristiani dalam dunia pendidikan. Secara khusus, akan diteliti bagaimana hubungan antara tokoh dan lembaga pendidikan Islam dan lembaga pendidikan Kristen dalam membangun kerukunan di Sumatera Utara. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Sosiologi Agama, sedangkan analisa data menggunakan pendekatan analisis domain dan analisis taxonomi yang diajukan Spradley. Kajian ini menemukan bahwa hubungan Muslim-Kristiani berlangsung secara harmonis. Banyak kasus dimana lembaga dan tokoh pendidikan mengadakan kegiatan-kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan kerukunan, selain lahirnya sejumlah karya yang dinilai dapat mendorong perubahan paradigma masyarakat tentang hubungan Islam dan Kristen.<br /> <br /><strong>Abstract: Muslim-Christian Relations in Educational Institution in North Sumatra. </strong>The basic assumption of this study is that the relationship between Muslims and Christians in North Sumatra takes place in various domains where interactions can occur harmoniously and disharmonically. Based on that assumption, the focus of this study is how the Muslim-Christian relationship in North Sumatra takes place in the domain of education. This article will examine the relationship between Muslims and Christians in education. In particular, will be examined how the relationship between figures and institutions of Islamic education and Christian educational institutions in building harmony in North Sumatra. The research was conducted by using Sociology of Religion, while data analysis using domain analysis approach and taxonomy analysis proposed by Spradley. The study found that Muslim-Christian relations are harmonious. Many cases where educational institutions and leaders conduct activities related to harmony, in addition to the birth of a number of works that are considered to encourage a change in the paradigm of society about the relationship of Islam and Christianity.<strong></strong><br /><strong> </strong><br /><strong>Kata Kunci</strong>: Muslim, Kristiani, pendidikan, agama-agama, dialog

This paper contains the psychology orientation of Islamic education. Each education level is different in how to educate and how to overcome the problems that occur, the age of the kindergarden is different from elementary school age, as well as elementary schools are different teaching systems with secondary schools, and also level schools. middle school is different in how to teach and how to deal with the problem with upper level schools. All levels have a phase that must be passed as an educator, if the wrong application results in misorientation, or lose direction. So that education is only a formality without any spirit that shapes the ethics of students to become human beings who are desired by Islamic education itself. The success of education depends on the initial orientation of the establishment of an educational institution. Where students will be taught at the institution. There is a lot of moral degradation in education because the empty psychology orientation of Islamic education in educational institutions, if there is an Islamic name is only a label without content, if from the beginning the educational institution has lost its orientation.

Abstract: Educational Human Resources are sources that play an active role in an educational institution in the process of creating qualified and competent graduates in their fields. This paper will examine the concept of developing educational resources from Ibn Sina's perspective and its relevance to the context of developing Islamic society. This article is a literature review with the sources used in consisting of primary data and secondary data. Primary data is the main source that is used as a reference in this writing, namely books or journals related to Ibn Sina's educational thoughts, and secondary data in the form of supporting sources related to education, development, and education. The data analysis technique uses the content analysis method with 4 stages, namely: 1) data classification; 2) data sorting; 3) leveraging/deepening data; and 4) Drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the concept of development of Human Resources for Education in Ibn Sina's perspective is very relevant to the context of developing Islamic society today, he argues that the development of human resources for education is the first step that must be done directly or indirectly. Because educational human resources are closely related to efforts to prepare development education graduates for the community in the context of developing Islam by implementing a social system that has Islamic philosophical values (khaira ummah), which includes developing the abilities possessed by a human being, namely Spiritual which consists of reason, character and body which consists of limbs, through a process obtained during education.Keywords: Development; Human Resources; Education; Ibn Sina.Abstrak: Sumber Daya Manusia Pendidikan merupakan sumber yang berperan aktif terhadap jalannya suatu lembaga pendidikan dalam proses menciptakan lulusan yang bermutu dan berkompeten di bidangnya. Tulisan ini akan mengkaji tentang konsep pembangunan sumber daya manusia pendidikan perspektif Ibnu Sina dan relevansinya dengan konteks pengembangan masyarakat Islam. Artikel ini merupakan kajian kepustakaan dengan sumber yang digunakan dalam terdiri dari data Primer dan data sekunder. Data Primer berupa sumber utama yang menjadi rujukan dalam penulisan ini yaitu buku atau jurnal yang berkaitan dengan Pemikiran pendidikan Ibnu Sina, dan Data Sekunder berupa sumber pendukung yang berkaitan dengan pembangunan pendidikan, pembangunan, dan pendidikan. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan metode analisis konten dengan 4 jenis tahapan yaitu: 1) klasifikasi data; 2) pemilahan data; 3) verifikasi/pendalaman data; dan 4) penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil kajian diperoleh hasil bahwa dalam konsep pembangunan Sumber Daya Manusia Pendidikan dalam perspektif Ibnu Sina sangat relevan dengan konteks pengembangan masyarakat Islam saat ini, dirinya berpendapat bahwa pembangunan sumber daya manusia pendidikan merupakan langkah awal yang harus dilakukan secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Karena pembangunan sumber daya manusia pendidikan berhubungan erat kepada upaya mempersiapkan lulusan lembaga pendidikan untuk mengabdi kepada masyarakat dalam rangka melakukan pengembangan masyarakat Islam dengan mengimplementasikan sistem kemasyarakatan yang memiliki nilai-nilai philosofis keislaman (khaira ummah), yang di dalamnya berupa pengembangan kemampuan-kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh seorang manusia yaitu Rohani yang terdiri dari akal, budi pekerti dan Jasmani yang terdiri dari anggota badan, melalui proses yang diperoleh selama pendidikan.Kata Kunci: Pembangunan; Sumber Daya Manusia; Pendidikan; Ibnu Sina.

Pesantren as an Islamic educational institution in Indonesia has a meaning and role that is very urgent in order to improve the standard of living and maintain tolerance in a diverse society. The journey of pesantren as an institution that concentrates on the field of education requires mutual attention. The existence of Pesantren is the mandate of the nation, even before the independence of Indonesia, while its implementation at the moment is the implementation of the joint responsibility in accordance with the mandate in the Preamble of the 1945 Constitution of paragraph IV and Article 31 of the 1945 Constitution. The development in Indonesia is carried out by various institutions education both general education and Islamic education that has a different background. The Pesantren as an Islamic educational institution that is built and developed in Indonesia is one type of Islamic education of Indonesia that is both traditional and modern to deepen the knowledge of Islam, live in society and nation. Historically, the development of pesantren in Indonesia has different backgrounds, styles and roles, as well as the struggle to realize national educational goals framed in Islamic religious education. Thus, in this study will be discussed a brief history of Islamic boarding schools, Islamic education in Indonesia as well as about pesantren as educational institutions that have a characteristic nationality.
