Consumption of fruits and vegetables is one of the requirements in meeting the requirements of balanced nutrition. Consumption of fruits and vegetables of the Indonesian population is still below the recommended number, higher in children at school age or teenagers. The objective of this study was to analyze the effect of nutrition education with lecture media and animated videos on knowledge about diet and consumption of fruit. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group, which was carried out in February-March 2019. Subjects are grade VII students of SMPN 281, which collected by purposive sampling of 60 subjects and divided into two groups, (Lecture and Video group). Data analyses used independent t-test, or Mann-Whitney and paired t-test or Wilcoxon with 99% CI. There was a significant increase in the knowledge of both groups. There was no difference in knowledge (p=0,646), type of breakfast (p= 0,810), there were differences in attitude (p=0,005), vegetable consumption (p=0,000), fruit consumption (p=0,024), breakfast frequency (p=0,013) between two groups. There was a significance difference in nutrition education on attitudes and eating habits, and consumption of fruits and vegetables, between video group and lecturer, and video were more likely to be effective as education media than lecturer. Konsumsi buah dan sayur serta sarapan merupakan salah satu syarat dalam memenuhi pola makan sehat berpedoman gizi seimbang. Konsumsi buah dan sayur penduduk Indonesia masih di bawah anjuran yang kecukupan, terutama pada anak usia sekolah atau remaja. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengukur pengaruh edukasi gizi dengan media ceramah dan video animasi terhadap pengetahuan sikap dan perilaku sarapan serta konsumsi sayur buah. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimen semu dengan desain pretest-posttest control group, yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari - Maret 2019. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 281 terdiri atas dua kelompok, yakni kelompok media ceramah dan media video animasi, dengan total 60 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan uji independent t-test atau mann-whitney dan paired t-test atau Wilcoxon test serta McNemar test pada CI:99%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, pengetahuan siswa meningkat setelah mendapatkan edukasi, baik pada kelompok ceramah maupun video animasi. Tidak terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan (p=0,646) dan jenis sarapan (p=0,810), tetapi terdapat perbedaan sikap (p=0,005), konsumsi sayur (p=0,000), konsumsi buah (p=0,024) dan frekuensi sarapan (p=0,013) antara siswa yang diberikan edukasi gizi dengan media ceramah dan media video animasi. Kesimpulan, edukasi gizi berpengaruh terhadap sikap dan perilaku sarapan dan konsumsi sayur-buah, serta edukasi lebih efektif dibandingkan media video.

Abstract Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of a behaviourally focused nutrition education (NE) intervention based on the Health Belief Model (HBM) to improve knowledge, attitudes and practices (KAP) related to eating habits and activity levels in 10–12-year-old adolescents in Mumbai, India. Design: School-based cluster randomised controlled trial. The experimental group (EG) received weekly NE and three parent sessions over 12 weeks; no sessions were conducted for the control group (CG). The theoretical framework of HBM and focus group discussion results guided the development of behaviour change communication strategies and NE aids. KAP were measured using a validated survey instrument, administered at baseline and endline in EG and CG. Paired and independent t tests determined within-group and between-group changes in pre–post scores. Setting: Two aided and two private schools that were randomly allocated to either an EG or CG. Participants: Adolescent boys and girls (n 498; EG n 292 and CG n 206). Results: EG reported improvements in mean knowledge (39·3%), attitude (7·3 %), diet (9·6 %) and activity practice (9·4%) scores from pre to post intervention. No significant changes were observed in CG. Significant improvements in scores associated with perceived benefits, barriers and self-efficacy, breakfast and vegetable consumption, and moderate-to-vigorous activities were observed in EG. Conclusions: Integrating NE into the academic curriculum and adopting evidence-based lessons that entail targeted information delivery and participatory activities can improve knowledge, foster right attitudes and facilitate better eating and activity-related practices in Indian adolescents.

Hypertension is a persistent blood pressure with systolic blood pressure above 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure above 90 mmHg. The treatment of hypertension is highly depend on the information given by nurse to patients’ skills on self care management to modify and maintain effective behavior. These activities include self management in prescribed medication, health monitoring, adequate rest, stress management and prescribed diet and exercises. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Hypertension Self Management Education (HSME) on controlling blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the Kabanjahe health center.This research used the quasi experimental research, using pretest and posttest with control group design. The samples of  research consisted of 40 respondents, and they were divided into two groups, namely: control group and intervention group. The data of research were analyzed by using the Paired T-test. The result of research shows that the p-values of Paired T-test of the experiment and control groups were 0.782 and 0.577 respectively whereas the p- value of Independent T-test was 0.001 (p <α; α = 0.05). Thus, there was an effect of Hypertention Self Management Education (HSME) on the control of  blood pleasure of the patient hypertention, Community Health Center, Kabanjahe. The nurses, therefore, are suggested to extend the HSME to control the blood pleasure hypertention client and and utilize the HSME as a health promotion program.   Hipertensi adalah tekanan darah persisten dengan tekanan darah sistolik di atas 140 mmHg dan tekanan darah diastolik di atas 90 mmHg. Perawatan hipertensi sangat tergantung pada informasi yang diberikan oleh perawat kepada keterampilan pasien tentang manajemen perawatan diri untuk memodifikasi dan mempertahankan perilaku yang efektif. Kegiatan-kegiatan ini termasuk manajemen diri dalam pengobatan yang diresepkan, pemantauan kesehatan, istirahat yang cukup, manajemen stres dan diet dan olahraga yang ditentukan. Tujuan  penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh Hypertention Self Management Education (HSME) terhadap pengontrolan tekanan darah pasien hipertensi di puskesmas kabanjahe. Metode penelitian adalah quasi experimental dengan menggunakan metode pre-test and post-test with control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 40 responden, dan mereka dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu: kelompok kontrol dan kelompok intervensi. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan Paired T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-p dari uji-T Berpasangan dari eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol masing-masing adalah 0,782 dan 0,577 sedangkan p-nilai dari Independent T-test adalah 0,001 (p <α; α = 0,05). Dengan demikian, ada efek dari Edukasi Manajemen Diri Hipertensi (HSME) pada kontrol tekanan darah dari pasien hipertensi, Puskesmas, Kabanjahe. Oleh karena itu, perawat disarankan untuk memberikan penkes HSME untuk mengendalikan tekanan darah pasien hipertensi dan memanfaatkan HSME sebagai program promosi kesehatan.

<p class="JKKAbstrakBodyIndo">The problem for pregnant women is iron anemia. The natural material that contains iron is honey. The study aims to determine the difference in hemoglobin levels in pregnant anemic who are supplemented Fe tablets and honey. Quasi-experimental research with nonrandomized pretest and posttest with control group design. Samples amounted to 30 people with purposive sampling technique. Analysis using paired t-test and independent sample t-test. The hemoglobin levels of anemic pregnant given Fe tablets only increased by 0,31gr/dl (3,21%), while those given Fe tablets and honey increased 1,06gr/dl (12,20%). Combination Fe tablets and honey can be an alternative for increasing hemoglobin in anemic pregnant.</p><p> </p>

Prevention of obesity should start early because obesity in children can continue into adulthood. Consumption of vegetables and fruit according to the recommendations is proven to prevent obesity from an early age. The role model of parents is very important in shaping the behavior of eating fruits and vegetables in preschool children. The aim of study to determine the effect of online and face-to-face health education methods on the role models of parents in consuming fruits and vegetables. The study used a quasi-experimental design pre-post-test without a control group. The number of samples was 115 parents of students spread across 5 kindergarten schools. The results showed 49.6% of parents have graduated from high school with an income of 52.7% above the minimum wage. The results of statistical tests showed that there was an effect of online and face-to-face health education methods on the role models of parents in eating vegetables and fruit with their children (17.92 ± 4.61, p = 0.00, 95% CI). Health education using online and face-to-face methods can be an intervention in increasing parental role models of fruit and vegetable consumption.

<p><strong>ABSTRACT</strong><br />The number of caesarean section birth in Indonesia were 22.8% or 921,000 out of 4,039,000 childbirth. The patients become conscious when the anesthetic effect disappears and they will feel pain in the incision area that makes them uncomfortable. One of the methods to reduce pain of Caesarean Section is lavender aromatherapy technique. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of lavender aromatherapy technique on pain reduction of caesarean section post-operative patients in Ajibarang hospital. This study was conducted by using a quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest design. The samples were 22 respondents divided into two groups; 11 respondents received lavender aromatherapy treatment and 11 respondents were in the control group. Paired t test was used to describe pain scale differences in the control group and intervention. The results showed that there was a difference in the pain scale between lavender aromatherapy technique group and the control group with p value of 0.000. It can be concluded that lavender aromatherapy technique reduces pain in post-operative caesarian section patients.</p><p><em><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></em><br /><em>Angka kejadian Caesarean section di Indonesia 921.000 dari 4.039.000 persalinan (22,8%) dari seluruh persalinan. Pasien akan mulai bergerak saat efek anastesi telah habis dan setelah itu mereka akan merasakan nyeri pada area pembedahan sehingga menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan. Salah satu metode untuk menangani Nyeri post Sectio C aesarea adalah dengan teknik aroma terapi lavender.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas teknik aroma terapi lavender terhadap nyeri pada pasien post operasi Caesarean section di RSUD Ajibarang Desain penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperiment with pretest-posttest design dengan sampel 22 responden terbagi menjadi 2 kelompok, 11 responden mendapatkan aroma terapi lavender, dan 11 responden sebagai kelompok kontrol. Uji beda dua mean antar kelompok menggunakan uji Paired T test. Terdapat perbedaan skala nyeri antara kelompok aroma terapi lavender dengan kelompok kontrol p value 0,000. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: terdapat pengaruh antara teknik Aroma Terapi Lavender terhadap penurunan nyeri Post SC.</em></p>

Tingkat penerimaan keluarga dapat mempengaruhi tumbuh kembang anak tunagrahita. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh Terapi Penerimaan dan Komitmen (TPK) Terapi Penerimaan dan Komitmen (TPK) Terhadap Tingkat Penerimaan pada Keluarga dengan Anak Tunagrahita di Kota Metro Lampung. Desain quasi experimental pre-post test with control group. Sampel  56 diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dengan Independent t-test dan Paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa tingkat penerimaan keluarga dengan anak tunagrahita meningkat secara bermakna setelah mendapat TPK. TPK direkomendasikan sebagai terapi keperawatan utama dalam meningkatkan penerimaan keluarga dengan anak tunagrahita. Kata Kunci: Tingkat penerimaan keluarga, Tunagrahita, Terapi Penerimaan dan Komitmen

Penelitian dalam skripsi ini dilatar belakangi bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran yang tepat dapat memberikan stimulasi perkembangan anak usia dini. Pemilihan dan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang tepat dapat menstimulasi perkembangan anak usia dini di RA Al Khodijah Purworejo Ngunut Tulungagung. Media audio visual memberikan suara dan gambar yang bergerak sehingga dapat menarik minat anak dalam pembelajaran dan mempengaruhi kecerdasan bahasa anak. Sedangkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan APE akan mempermudah dan memberikan kesempatan pada anak untuk berimajinasi, berfikir kreatif, menciptakan sesuatu yang baru dan menemukan berbagai alternatif dalam pemecahan masalah.Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi experimental dan desain penelitian non equivalent control group design. Populasi anak usia dini kelompok B di RA Al Khodijah Purworejo Kecamatan Ngunut Kabupaten Tulungagung tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 yang terdiri dari kelompok B1 sejumlah 30 anak dan kelompok B2 sejumlah 30 anak. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling sejumlah 30 anak. Variabel independen media audio visual dan alat peraga edukatif, variabel dependen pengembangan bahasa anak. Data diambil dengan lembar observasi pengembangan bahasa anak, kemudian dianalisis dengan uji paired sample t test dan independent sample t test.Hasil dari penelitian didapatkan: 1) Ada pengaruh media pembelajaran audio visual terhadap hasil pengembangan bahasa anak kelas B di RA Al Khodijah Purworejo Ngunut Tulungagung. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dari uji paired t test pengembangan bahasa anak antara sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran media audio visual didapatkan p value 0,000 &lt; 0,05. 2) Ada pengaruh alat peraga edukatif terhadap hasil pengembangan bahasa anak kelas B di RA Al Khodijah Purworejo Ngunut Tulungagung. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dari uji paired t test pengembangan bahasa anak antara sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran dengan alat peraga edukatif didapatkan p value 0,000 &lt; 0,05. 3) Ada perbedaan pengaruh media pembelajaran audio visual dan alat peraga edukatif terhadap hasil pengembangan bahasa anak kelas B di RA Al Khodijah Purworejo Ngunut Tulungagung. Hal tersebut ditunjukkan dari uji independen t test pengaruh media pembelajaran audio visual dan alat peraga edukatif terhadap hasil pengembangan bahasa anak didapatkan p value 0,004 &lt; 0,05.

Abstract Objective: This study pilot-tested combining financial incentives to purchase fruits and vegetables with nutrition education focused on cooking to increase the consumption of fruits and vegetables and improve attitudes around healthy eating on a budget among low-income adults. The goal of the pilot study was to examine implementation feasibility and fidelity, acceptability of the intervention components by participants and effectiveness. Design: The study design was a pre-post individual-level comparison without a control group. The pilot intervention included two components, a scan card providing free produce up to a weekly maximum dollar amount for use over a 2-month period, and two sessions of tailored nutrition and cooking education. Outcomes included self-reported attitudes about healthy eating and daily fruit and vegetable consumption from one 24-h dietary recall collected before and after the intervention. Setting: Greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area in Minnesota. Participants: Adults (n 120) were recruited from five community food pantries. Results: Findings indicated that the financial incentive component of the intervention was highly feasible and acceptable to participants, but attendance at the nutrition education sessions was moderate. Participants had a statistically significant increase in the consumption of fruit, from an average of 1·00 cup/d to 1·78 cups/d (P < 0·001), but no significant change in vegetable consumption or attitudes with respect to their ability to put together a healthy meal. Conclusions: While combining financial incentives with nutrition education appears to be acceptable to low-income adult participants, barriers to attend nutrition education sessions need to be addressed in future research.

Dhikr Jahar Therapy Reduces Anxiety in Pre-Operative Sectio Caesarea Mothers. Mothers often experience anxiety before cesarean section surgery. Non-pharmacological therapy with dhikr Jahar can be a complementary therapy option to reduce anxiety. This study aimed to explain the effect of dhikr therapy on reducing maternal anxiety levels before SC surgery. The research method uses Quasy Experiment with Pre-Post Test With Control Group Design. The respondents' determination was carried out by total sampling, namely pre-cesarean section surgery pregnant women in March-June 2019 at Garam Islamic Hospital, Kalianget (n=24). Statistical test using Paired T-Test, Wilcoxon Test, and Independent T-Test. The results of the Paired T-Test showed that there were differences in the level of anxiety of patients before SC before and before being given dhikr therapy in the intervention group (p = 0.000); there was an average decrease of 9.917. The Wilcoxon test results showed no difference (change) in the level of anxiety of patients before and before being given therapeutic communication in the control group the value (p = 0.636); the decrease that occurred was 0.83. In the Independent T-Test results, there was no difference in the level of anxiety before SC before and before being given treatment in the intervention group and the control group (p = 0.211). There is an effect of providing dhikr Jahar therapy to reduce maternal anxiety levels before SC surgery.

Latar Belakang: Hipertrigliseridemia merupakan salah satu faktor risiko terjadinya penyakit kardiovaskuler. Antosianin dan isoflavon dapat menurunkan kadar trigliserida. Ubi jalar ungu dan kedelai mengandung antosianin, isoflavon, dan serat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian snack bar dengan bahan dasar kombinasi ubi jalar ungu dan kedelai terhadap kadar trigliserida pada wanita dewasa hipertrigliseridemia.Metode: Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan merupakan quasi-experimental dengan pre-post test control group design dengan subyek wanita dewasa yang memiliki kadar trigliserida puasa >100 mg/dl. Subyek dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok:  kontrol (tidak diberikan snack bar), perlakuan 1 (diberikan snack bar kombinasi ubi jalar ungu (Ipomea batatas L) dan kedelai hitam), dan perlakuan 2 (diberikan snack bar berbahan dasar kombinasi ubi jalar ungu (Ipomea batatas L) dan kedelai kuning). Intervensi dilakukan selama 4 minggu dengan dosis snack bar 80 g sehari. Pemeriksaan kadar trigliserida dilakukan sebelum intervensi, hari ke-15, dan hari ke-29 penelitian. Uji normalitas menggunakan Saphiro-Wilk. Analisis statistik menggunakan paired t-test, Wilcoxon, ANOVA, dan Kruskall-Wallis.Hasil: Terdapat penurunan kadar trigliserida puasa pada kelompok kontrol  (p>0.05) pada pemeriksaan hari ke-15 yang disebabkan oleh penurunan asupan energi (p<0.05). Kelompok perlakuan 1 dan 2 menunjukkan peningkatan asupan energi, lemak, dan serat pada dua minggu awal penelitian. Terjadi penurunan kadar trigliserida pada kelompok perlakuan 2 yang signifikan (p=0.011) dibandingkan kelompok perlakuan 1 (p=0.251) pada pemeriksaan hari ke-15. Pemeriksaan kadar trigliserida pada hari ke-29 menunjukkan peningkatan dibandingkan hari ke-15. Uji Anova dan Kruskall-Wallis menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan kadar trigliserida puasa antara kelompok kontrol, perlakuan 1 dan perlakuan 2 (p>0.05) baik pada pemeriksaan hari ke-15 maupun 29.Kesimpulan: Pemberian snack bar berbahan dasar kombinasi ubi jalar ungu dan kedelai kuning dengan dosis 80 sehari selama 2 minggu dapat menurunkan 32.89% kadar trigliserida pada wanita dewasa hipertrigliseridemia.
