This paper attempts to employ the matrix of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) to establish an evaluative index system for software enterprises in Jilin Province. The SWOT analysis is performed in combination with the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the relative weights of various criteria in the analytic hierarchy as they are related to the overarching goal. The ultimate assessment of the developmental status of those provincial IT enterprises from the local (departmental/segmental) to the global (corporate/industrial) level will then be derived by applying a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation matrix in accordance with the principle of maximum associations. This approach promises to overcome drawbacks commonly found in conventional hierarchical analyses, where frequent adjustments and tests are often required to make results from judgmental matrix consistent. Examples with concrete analytic results have shown that this innovative, synthetic method is of promising guiding significance to corporate strategic formulations.

The Land Tenure Property Right (LTPR) concept is critical for establishing ownership and rights to land or property. Land is inextricably linked to a community's social identities, and it is critical for them to understand their rights. Water settlement areas are not included in the formal LTPR, which results in ambiguous rights, informal land tenure, and ambiguity regarding certain LTPR elements. As a result, this article will discuss the difficulties associated with LTPR in this area. The article employs a qualitative approach, with data collected via face-to-face interviews and analysed using thematic analysis. Three case studies are included, in which all of the villages are located in a water settlement area. Six challenges are identified in the context of LTPR that require revision and strengthening. By combining the general LTPR framework and the results, a Matrix of LTPR that meets the criteria in the water settlement area is produced.

Do human rights in their conventional, Western understanding really meet the needs of Pacific peoples? This article argues that land rights are a better clue to those needs. In Aboriginal Australia, Fiji, West Papua and Papua New Guinea, case studies show that people's relationship to land is religious and implicitly theological. The article therefore suggests that rights to land need to be supplemented by rights of the land extending to the earth as the home of the one human community and nature as the matrix of all life.

The flood events in Kelantan during December 2014 were examples of disasters in recent years that garnered national attention. Emergencies can occur with little or no warning. Floods deprive families of basic food and shelter, and lead to significant social and emotional impacts that linger long after the event. Every year, schools and community areas have been used as evacuation centres. A number of problems faced by the evacuees have been identified, especially in terms of physical facilities such as the lack of privacy for women and families, especially during night time. The objectives of this paper are as follows: (1) to study on the concept of privacy from an Islamic Perspective; and (2) to assess privacy in the context of a flood evacuation centre. Recommendations and suggestion are posed on overcoming the identified issues and problems. This research contributes a review of examples of evacuation facilities that follow Islamic teaching in the context of privacy in evacuation centres.
