<p>This study aims to analyze the results of learning mathematics in terms of the <br />effect of the interaction between description and formative tests students' emotional intelligence. Research using experimental methods to design a 2x2 factorial treatment by level, and get the results as follows: (1) Overall, the results of the students' mathematics learning structured descriptions given formative tests is higher than that given in descriptions of formative tests are free. (2) There is an interaction effect descriptions and formative tests of emotional intelligence to the results of students' mathematics learning. In the group of students who are given the description of structured formative test results obtained studying mathematics students who have low emotional intelligence is higher than the students who have high emotional intelligence, while in the group of students were given a description of formative tests obtained free math learning outcomes of students who have low emotional intelligence no different from students who have high emotional intelligence. In order to improve the quality of mathematics learning, teachers should be able to conduct a formative test innovation in narrative form. Giving the description formative tests should be tailored to the level of emotional intelligence of students. </p>

Achievement of student learning outcomes and activities in learning is one of the things that can describe or is one of the benchmarks determining the quality of student learning. The emotional intelligence factor can affect the quality of learning. Therefore, the formulation of the problem in this study is how the description of the quality of mathematics learning of students is viewed from emotional intelligence on transformation material in SMA Negeri 2 Majene. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the quality of mathematics learning of students in the classroom in terms of emotional intelligence on transformation material in SMA Negeri 2 Majene. This research is a type of qualitative research. The quality of student learning referred to in this study is the quality of student outcomes and activities. How to choose a subject that is by giving questionnaires to emotional intelligence to students then choose two students who have high emotional intelligence scores, two students with moderate emotional intelligence scores and two students with low emotional intelligence scores. The data collection method uses a combination of test, questionnaire and interview methods. Learning quality data obtained from quality test results and interviews of subject activities in the classroom. The results showed that the quality of the results of subjects with high emotional intelligence classified in the high and low categories, subjects with moderate emotional intelligence were both classified in the low category and subjects with low emotional intelligence classified in the medium and low categories, while for the quality of the process, the two subjects of emotional intelligence the first high and low emotional intelligence subject understands all indicators, whereas the second moderate emotional intelligence subject and the second low emotional intelligence subject do not meet all indicators

The background of this research is the lack of students mathematics learning outcomes. This is because passive students in participating in learning, and in group learning activities, group less responsible members of the group, resulting in lower student learning outcomes. This study is a class action that aims to improve learning outcomes mathematics using cooperative learning model NHT. The research was conducted in classes VI SDN 011 Kerumutan Beringin Kecamatan Makmur. Research was conducted during two cycles. The research instrument consists of a sheet of teacher activity observation and student activity and learning outcomes. Based on the results of research and discussion, that the learning outcomes of students has increased after learning activities using cooperative learning model NH. This statement is supported by the results that have been raised previously, namely: (1) the results of the initial test results of learning mathematics students get an average of 54.00 with learning completeness percentage of 48%; (2) in the first cycle of students' mathematics learning outcomes increased with an average value of 64.00 with learning completeness percentage of 84%; and (3) in the second cycle students' mathematics learning outcomes increased with an average value of 67.00 with learning completeness percentage of 92%. This shows that the classical completeness has been reached, in which the research is successful if the completeness achieved 80% of students obtaining a minimum value of 70. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model NHT can improve mathematics learning outcomes SDN 011 Beringin Makmur Kecamatan Kerumutan.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) mengetahui apakah hasil belajar matematika siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan  strategi pembelajaran matematika realistik lebih tinggi dari strategi pembelajaran langsung; (2) mengetahui  apakah hasil belajar matematika siswa yang mempunyai sikap matematika tinggi lebih tinggi dari sikap matematika rendah; dan (3) mengetahui  apakah terdapat interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan sikap matematika siswa terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian faktorial 2x2, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur pada taraf signifikansi a = 0.05. Hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) hasil belajar matematika siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran matematika realistik lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar matematika siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran langsung, (2) hasil   belajar  matematika  siswa yang memiliki sikap matematika tinggi  lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar matematika siswa yang memiliki sikap matematika rendah; dan (3) terdapat  interaksi  antara  strategi  pembelajaran dan sikap  matematika  siswa  terhadap hasil belajar matematika.   Kata Kunci: Strategi Pembelajaran matematika realistik dan Strategi Pembelajaran langsung, sikap matematika, matematika   Abstract: This research was aimed to:  (1) determine whether the outcomes of learning mathematics students who learned with realistic mathematics learning strategies is higher than direct instructional strategies, (2) determine whether the results of students' mathematics learning attitudes that have high math higher than attitude lower mathematics, and (3) determine whether there is an interaction between learning strategies and student attitudes toward mathematics student math learning outcomes . Method using a quasi-experimental study with a 2x2 factorial design study , while data analysis techniques using ANOVA two lanes at a significance level of a = 0.05 level . Results were obtained: (1) mathematics learning outcomes of students who learned with the learning strategies of realistic mathematics higher mathematics learning outcomes of students who learned with direct instructional strategies, (2) mathematics learning outcomes of students who have high math attitude is higher than the results of learning mathematics students who have low math attitude, and (3) there is an interaction between learning strategies and student attitudes toward mathematics math learning outcomes . <p>The research is an experiment conducted in SMA Negeri 8 Tangerang City, Banten, on the influence of learning and use of media interest in learning of mathematics learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the <br />influence of media use to learn and interest in learning mathematics learning <br />outcomes. (Experiment In Student Class XI IPA SMAN 8 Tangerang City Year <br />Lesson 2010/2011). The research method used is an experimental method using <br />the technique "factor analysis" with "Two Way Anova", aided by SPSS version <br />15.0. The results of the analysis studies suggest that: 1) There is the media's <br />influence on the learning outcomes of mathematics learning, 2) There is interest <br />in studying the influence on the results of studying mathematics, and 3) There is no interaction between the learning outcomes of students with interest in learning mathematics students. </p>

The formulation of the problem in this research are: (1) How the result of learning mathematics of students after taught by SAVI learning model?, (2) How the result of learning mathematics of students after taught by NHT learning model?, (3) Is the result of learning mathematics of students who taught with SAVI learning model is higher than students taught by NHT learning model. The purpose of this study are: (1) To know how the results of learning mathematics students after teaching with SAVI learning model, (2) To find out how the results of learning mathematics students after being taught with NHT learning model, (3) To determine whether the results of learning mathematics students taught by SAVI learning models higher than students taught by NHT learning models. Type of research using experimental method. The population in this study is all students of class X spread in 11 parallel classes with the number of 310 people. Sampling was done by using cluster random sampling technique. In this research as a sample taken 2 classes from the entire population that is class X A3 as experiment class 1 using SAVI learning model and class X A1 as experiment class 2 using NHT learning model. From result of data analysis obtained that: (1) result of student learning taught by using SAVI learning model which consist of 25 students show minimum value 62, maximum value 96, mean (mean) 80,36, with standard deviation 9,10; (2) student learning outcomes taught using NHT learning model consisting of 25 students showing minimum score 62, maximum value 96, mean (mean) 79,62, with standard deviation 10,512; (3) result of t-test analysis using independent sample t-test obtained tcount = 0,302 at = 0,05 with degrees of freedom (dk) = 48 obtained t table = 2,011. Because t <t table then Ha is rejected and H0 is accepted. So it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of students who were taught with the SAVI model was not higher than the students taught by the NHT model.

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes on mathematics learning by using a contextual approach. This research is a Class Action Research (CAR) conducted at one of the vocational schools (SMK) in X-class areas of focus on Automation of Governance and Office 3. The research instruments used in this study are (1) tests consisting of pre-test and post-test of the concept of Sigma notation and infinite series; and (2) the use of an observation sheet for teachers and students as a condition of measuring action execution. The procedure of the study consists of (1) planning, (2) The implementation of Action, (3) observation, (4) evaluation, and (5) reflection. The test results showed that there was an increase in pre-test and post-test results of 19.33%. Obviously, this shows that students ' learning outcomes on math learning are increasing after learning using a contextual approach.

<p>This study aims to determine the effect of learning styles and attitudes of <br />students in math on math learning outcomes. The method used is the method Expose Facto. The study sample drawn from a population with affordable proportional random technique, as many as 60 students. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire instrument to measure learning style variables and variable attitudes of students in math, and test instruments, to measure the outcomes of learning mathematics. The research design used in this study is a 3 x 2 factorial design with three variables consisting of two independent variables, namely cognitive learning styles and attitudes of students in math, as well as the dependent variable, which is the result of learning mathematics. From the <br />data processing obtained the following results: (1) There are differences in mathematics learning outcomes of students who have a visual learning style, auditory and kinesthetic. It is in the show by the price of the F - count of 2,494 with a probability of 0.047 sig (sig &lt; 0.05) at significance level ? = 5 %. (2) The results of the mathematical learning of students who have a positive attitude at a higher math than students who have a negative attitude on math. It is in the show by the price of the F - count of 3,124 with a probability <br />of 0.018 sig (sig &lt; 0.05) at significance level. (3) There is no interaction between the learning styles of students in math attitudes toward math learning outcomes. It is in the show by the price of the F - calculated interaction probability value was 1.621 while sig. for interaction (learning styles * attitude of students in math) of 0.140 (sig &gt; 0.05). </p>

Mathematics has always been a difficult subject for the students. Math learning in the classroom is often a very tedious process for most students. Many students are unmotivated to study mathematics, which means that the disposition of students in learning mathematics is lacking. Mathematical dispositions relate to student attitudes, the tendency to think and act positively in learning mathematics. One of the extracurricular activities that students are interested in is the Extrakurikuler Scout activities. Students are always eager to follow the activities in these activities. This means that the education system contained in the Boy Scouts is able to attract students' attention and be able to motivate students. Even when students are given difficult challenges, students seem to be passionate and happy to follow the challenge. This means students have a positive attitude in following Scout activities. This is certainly when applied in the learning of mathematics will be able to make students feel happy to attend math lessons. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif (Descriptive Research). Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII F SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 34 orang peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar tes dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) pada materi lingkaran. Berdasarkan hasil deskriptif hasil belajar matematika peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik menjadi lebih meningkat. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata hasil nilai LKPD menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning yaitu 89,63 dan rata-rata nilai tes yaitu 84,56.Kata Kunci : Deskriptif, Hasil Belajar Belajar, Problem Based LearningABSTRACTThe aim of this research was to describe the results of learning mathematics students VIII grade SMP Negeri 2 Kota Bengkulu with Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve the activity and learning outcomes of students on learning Mathemathics by appying PAIKEM learning approach in class IV SD Negeri 010 Rambah. This study is limited only to the applications of PAIKEM approach in improving the quality of Mahtematics learning and students learning outcomes. The research is a classroom Action Research (PTK) conduct ed with 4 cycles, each cycle is done by learning with PAIKEM approach. The results of the research can be concluded that the application of PAIKEM approach in learning Mathematics can improve student activity and student learning outcomes fourth grade SD Negeri 010 Rambah Rokan Hulu-Riau even semester 2016/2017. The results are as follows: 1) Improving the quality of student activity from cycle I by 50%, cycle II by 80 %, cycle III by 92 %, and cycle IV by 98%, there is an increase in student activity on the Mathematic to be highly qualified, 2) the learning outcomes of the first cycle of 90%, the second cycle of 95 %, 100% of the cycle III, and 100% of the cycle IV, which there is an increase in excellent learning outcomes, 3) Average value of the cycle I of 72.38, and second cycle is 83.00, the third cycle is 90.50, and the fourth cycle is 97.00, the meaning is classically PAIKEM approath can increase the average of Mathematics students grade IV SD Negeri 0101 Rambah.Keyword: PAIKEM approach , learning outcomes, student activityAbstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Matematika dengan menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran PAIKEM di Kelas IV SD Negeri 010 Rambah. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitain Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dengan 4 siklus, setiap siklus dilakukan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan PAIKEM. Hasil penelitiandapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan PAIKEM dalam pembelajaran Matematika dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 010 Rambah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu-Riau semester genap tahun 2016/2017. Hasilnya sebagai berikut: 1) Peningkatan kualitas aktivitas siswa dari siklus I sebesar 50%, siklus II sebesar 80%, siklus III sebesar 92%, dan siklus IV sebesar 98%, terjadi peningkatan aktivitas siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika menjadi sangat berkualitas, 2) Ketuntasan hasil belajar dari siklus I sebesar 90%, siklus II sebesar 95%, siklus III sebesar 100%, dan siklus IV sebesar 100%, dimana terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar yang sangat baik, 3) Rata rata nilai dari siklus I sebesar 72,38, dan siklus II sebesar 83,00, siklus III sebesar 90,50, dan siklus IV sebesar 97,00, maknanya secara klasikal pendekatan PAIKEM dapat meningkatkan rata-rata nilai Matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 010 Rambah.Kata Kunci: pendekatan PAIKEM, hasil belajar, aktivitas siswa
