Improving the quality of laboratory services must always be improved in improving the quality of the tri dharma of higher education. Good laboratory management is one of the supporting factors, for that reason, the Department of Mining Engineering manages the laboratory. Laboratory management, in this case, is the laboratory equipment inventory system and laboratory control system. This system will be used to carry out monitoring data on the use of website-based laboratory equipment where the use of laboratory equipment must be carried out systematically. The first step is to create a web system for administration and inventory in the laboratory. In this study, in conducting website-based lab management, it is also necessary to map the problems faced by students in relation to services and supporting infrastructure in the laboratory.

The purpose of the study is to improve the monitoring system of foreign language training of the students specialised in non-linguistic disciplines. The object of the study is foreign language training of students specialised in non-linguistic disciplines. The subject of the study is the content, forms, methods and means of monitoring foreign language training of students specialised in non-linguistic disciplines. The research methodology is based on the consolidation of theoretical methods and pedagogical observation in order to determine the concepts dealing with the features of improving the control of foreign language training of the students specialised in non-linguistic disciplines and the introduction of modern approaches. The leading provisions of the control system are proposed, where foreign language training is allocated from an array of scientific information and practical approaches in teaching a foreign language for the students specialised in non-linguistic disciplines. It has been testified that the implemented author’s system is a compulsory requirement for the further development of the scientific direction of foreign language training of students which is consistent with the fundamental data of the general theory of training specialists within higher education. The types of activities used in the process of monitoring foreign language training of the students specialised in non-linguistic disciplines which reflect the role of the object within the existing training system have been determined. The dominants which are characteristic for these students have been developed. The analysis allows us to make certain conclusions regarding the usage of testing technologies in assessing the quality of foreign language training in a modern institution of higher education, which should be adapted to the specific conditions aimed at guaranteeing the quality of control system of professional education. The technology of assessment provided the integrated conduct of control and evaluation activities based on the usage of traditional forms of control and score-rating innovative technology. The indicated activities and dominants of the system aimed at monitoring the foreign language training of the students specialised in non-linguistic disciplines are objective and structured characteristics, thanks to which it is possible to assess the quality of the acquired knowledge and acquired skills of the designated students, as well as to improve the methodology of teaching foreign language at higher education institutions, the purpose of which is student’s personal and professional growth.

Abstract Demonstrable quality of laboratory services entails two parts. First, one needs a quality policy statement, identification of user needs, choice of measurement procedures, reference measurement system to provide traceability, control materials, and proficiency testing with materials having reference-measurement-assigned values. Second, it may be useful to obtain recognition of competence in addition to the director's certificate, such as Good Laboratory Practice (when studying toxicity of chemicals), ISO 9000 certification of a self-defined quality system, nongovernmental professional accreditation, or, most demanding, governmental accreditation according to European Standard EN 45,001 with some modifications. These require external quality audit; ISO and EN also require a quality manual, which is valuable documentation in any case.

Abstract. The quality standards established by the higher education control agencies in Ecuador require the demonstration of the processes of Higher Education Institutions through the evidence of the activities, each period in accordance with the requirements of the regulatory entities. The present research presents the results of the implementation of a system of control of evidences in the Career of Engineering in Systems and Computing of the National University of Chimborazo as a tool for the generation and validation of the evidences. An analysis of the generic model of evaluation, diagnostic situation, development and implementation of the solution and analysis of the changes generated by the implementation was performed. The results evidenced that the time of search, validation and collection of evidence decreased, also the increase of the quality of the information according to established guidelines, on the other hand, the difficulties found in the execution of the project were unveiled.

The conditions are investigated in which Spanish university teachers carry out their teaching and research functions. 655 teachers from the University of Oviedo took part in this study by completing the Academic Setting Evaluation Questionnaire (ASEQ). Of the three dimensions assessed in the ASEQ, Satisfaction received the lowest ratings, Social Climate was rated higher, and Relations with students was rated the highest. These results are similar to those found in two studies carried out in the academic years 1986/87 and 1989/90. Their relevance for higher education is twofold because these data can be used as a complement of those obtained by means of students' opinions, and the crossing of both types of data can facilitate decision making in order to improve the quality of the work (teaching and research) of the university institutions.

The purpose of this research is to know the influence between the Quality of Human Resources, Utilization of Information Technology and Internal Control System Against Timeliness of Village Government Financial Reporting at Gunungkidul Regency. This research is causative research. The population is the village government in Gunungkidul Regency, especially in Gedangsari subdistrict. Criteria of respondents in the study were to village and village apparatus. We use questionnaire to collect data. We use multiple regression with SPSS program version 16.0 to analyze data. We find that quality of human resources and internal control system have a positive influence on the timeliness of village government financial reporting. On the other hand, utilization of information technology does not influence the timeliness of village government financial reporting. These imply that the quality of human resources and internal control system can speed up the preparation of village government financial reporting.

Law and public administration schools in Russia vastly exceed in their popularity sciences and engineering. We relate such lopsided demand for higher education to the quality of institutions setting “rules of the game” in economy and society. Cross-country and Russian interregional data indicate the quality of institutions (rule of law, protection of property rights etc.) is negatively associated with the demand for education in law, and positively — in sciences and engineering. More gifted younger people are particularly sensitive to the quality of institutions in choosing their fields of study, and such selection is an important transmission channel between institutions and economic growth.

The accuracy and reliability is the quality of the information. The more accurate and reliable, the more information it’s good quality. Similarly, a survey, the better the survey, the more accurate the information provided. Implementation of student satisfaction measurement to the process of teaching and learning activities on the quality of the implementation of important lectures in order to get feedback on the assessed variables and for future repair. Likewise in Higher Education Prog has undertaken the process of measuring student satisfaction through a distributed questioner finally disemester each class lecture. However, the deployment process questioner is identified there are 7 (seven) problems. However, the problem can be resolved by the 3 (three) ways of solving problems one of which is a system of iLearning Survey (Isur), that is by providing an online survey to students that can be accessed anywhere and anytime. In the implementation shown a prototype of Isur itself. It can be concluded that the contribution Isur system can maximize the decision taken by the Higher Education Prog. By using this Isur system with questions and evaluation forms are submitted and given to the students and the other colleges. To assess the extent to which the campus has grown and how faculty performance in teaching students class, and can be used as a media Isur valid information for an assessment of activities throughout college.

This paper focuses on the understanding of service quality in the context of Vietnamese universities. It proposes an approach for measuring the quality of the higher education service provided by universities in Vietnam. Firstly, an exploratory study was conducted. Then, the set of items which were generated became the subject of a questionnaire that was then administered to 675 students of a Vietnamese university to determine the dimensions of higher education service quality in this context. The obtained results permit us to appropriate a measurement scale which is slightly different from the SERVQUAL scale widely known as the standard for measuring service quality. The results also show that tangible elements, responsiveness and assurance seem to be three specific dimensions of the higher education service of Vietnamese universities.
