 This study aims to describe the improvement of learning outcomes using the Portfolio model in integrated thematic learning for fifth grade elementary school students. In its implementation, the teacher has not used a learning model that can arouse student enthusiasm, and does not provide problems with learning and student work results are not stored together so it is difficult to see student development. This type of research is Classroom Action Research and uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this study were students of grade V SD. The data of this study were the results of observations and tests of each learning improvement action by applying the Portfolio model. This portfolio model has 6 stages, namely "1) identifying problems, 2) selecting problems for class studies, 3) gathering information about problems studied in class. 4) developing portfolios in class, 5) collection of materials, 6) portfolio presentation section.

The scope of learning material for social sciences (IPS) at Elementary School is very wide, while the time available is very limited. This has been an obstacle for elementary school teachers in achieving the learning objectives. This study aimed to determine whether the application of Mind Mapping learning model on the activities of students learning and the mastery of students learning of IPS. This action research was conducted with three cycles involving 30 students of the fifth grade of elementary school in Kabupaten Kudus. The findings were analyzed using the descriptive qualitative study. The data were collected by using a questionnaires, observation sheets, pretest, and posttest. The results showed that the Learning Model of Mind Mapping can improve the students activity. This indicated an increase in the average score of the class activity to 48.2% in the first cycle, to 56.1% in the second cycle, and to 62.2% in cycle III. The average of the student learning outcomes for IPS also increased from 64 in the first cycle, to 67 in the second cycle, and to 75 in cycles III.   Materi IPS di Sekolah Dasar memiliki cakupan materi yang sangat luas, sedangkan waktu yang tersedia sangat terbatas. Hal ini menjadi kendala bagi guru-guru Sekolah Dasar dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dapat meningkatkan aktifitas siswa dalam belajar. Penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas 3 siklus dan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas V SD Kabupaten Kudus yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Hasil penelitian dianalisa secara deskriptif kualitatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara menggunakan angket, lembar observasi, pre-tes dan posttes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Mind Mapping dapat meningkatkan aktifitas siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata aktifitas kelas yaitu dari 48,2% pada siklus I, 56,1% pada siklus II, dan 62,2% pada siklus yang ke III. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa untuk mata pelajaran IPS juga meningkat dari 64 pada siklus I, menjadi 67 pada siklus II, dan 75 pada siklus ke III.

<em>The teacher have responsibility to encourage the development of quality learning outcomes in students. The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes water cycle by applying experiments based of two stay two stray model in fifth grade elementary school. The type of this research is classroom action research held in three cycles. The subject of this research is fifth grade elementary school amounting to 25 students, researchers and the teacher in that class. The data were collected by interview, observation, test, and document review. Data validity is tested by content validity, triangulation of source and technique. The data analysis used descriptive comparative technique and interactive analysis model Miles Huberman. The conclusion of this research is experiments based of two stay two stray model can improve the learning outcomes water cycle.</em>

This study aims to determine the application of inquiry learning models, student learning outcomes in Thematic subjects the objects around us to beginner students in class V. This research is a type of quantitative analysis using designs in the form of one group pretest and posttest. The study population was all fifth-grade elementary school students, amounting to 23 students' data collection techniques using the method of observation and learning outcomes tests. The instrument to measure learning outcomes using pretest and posttest in the form of objective analysis is multiple choice. Data were analyzed using hypothesis testing with the help of the product-moment formula and Paired Sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that learning using inquiry learning models is shown by the average feasibility of aspects with a range of values ​​of 3.50-3.88. And there is an influence of the inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes in Thematic learning the themes of objects around us in class V, as evidenced by the testing of hypotheses obtained r count = 0.806 and r tables = 0.433. While the Paired Sample t-test significance test, showed a correlation before and after the inquiry learning model was applied at 0.806> α (0.05). Based on the values, it can be concluded that the inquiry learning model has a positive influence on student learning outcomes in Thematic learning of the objects around us in the fifth grade of significantly.

<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran tematik integratif berbasis sastra yang layak bagi siswa kelas V SD, (2) mengetahui efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran tematik integratif berbasis sastra bagi siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian dan pengembangan mengacu pada langkah yang dikembangkan Borg &amp; Gall. Desain pengembangan dikelompokkan menjadi 3 langkah: (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) proses pengembangan, dan (3) uji coba dan finalisasi. Uji lapangan operasional dilakukan di SD Negeri 3 Pancor dan SD Negeri 3 Selong dengan jumlah subjek 102 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman wawancara, lembar angket, lembar observasi, dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan <em>Paired Sample t Test, </em>dan <em>Independent Sample t Test </em>dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05<em>.</em> Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perangkat pembelajaran tematik integratif berbasis sastra hasil pengembangan menurut ahli (<em>expert judgment</em>) berkategori “baik”. The research and development refers to the model developed by Borg &amp; Gall. The design development is grouped into three steps, namely: (1) preliminary study, (2) the process of development, and (3) testing and finalization. Operational field test conducted in SD Negeri 3 Pancor dan SD Negeri 3 Selong subjects totaled 102 students. Collecting data used interviews, questionnaire sheets, observation sheets, and tests. Data were analyzed using<em> Paired Sample t Test, </em>and<em> independent sample t test</em> with significance level of 0.05. The results show the development of learning outcomes-based learning instrument thematic integrative literature according to the expert (<em>expert judgment</em>) is categorized as "good". There are significant differences in the value of learning outcomes between the control class and the experimental class after using the learning outcomes of thematic integrative learning instrument based on literature with p &lt;0.05, and p = 0.002.</p> <p><strong>Keywords:</strong> <em>learning </em><em>instrument, thematic integrative, literature-based learning.</em></p>

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of reading poetry through the application of the Demonstration Method in fifth grade students of the Catholic Elementary School V St. Agustinus Tomohon. The method used is classroom action research (CAR) which refers to the design proposed according to Kemmis and Taggart (Zainal Aqib, 2006) which consists of 4 stages, namely: 1. Planning, 2. Implementation, 3. Observation, 4. Reflection with two cycles. The results obtained in the first cycle were 64% and the second cycle reached 85% in this case there was an increase in learning outcomes in learning to read poetry in the theme of education in the fifth grade students of the Vth Catholic Elementary School St. Agustinus Tomohon so that the implementation of the action could be said to be successful. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the use of the Demonstration Method can improve the learning outcomes of reading poetry in the theme of the education of fifth grade students of the 5th Catholic Elementary School St. Agustinus Tomohon. It is recommended that the use of the Demonstration Method can be recommended as one of the learning methods that can be used by the fifth grade V Catholic Elementary School teacher St. Agustinus Tomohon in learning activities in Reading Poetry in Educational Themes

Conclusion, that there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes after applying the portfolio model to learning integrated thematic in grade V elementary school. This study aims to: (1) In order for teachers can plan contextual learning, (2) In order for teachers to carry out learning by using a contextual approach, (3) To Learn kreatvitas students understand the material properties of light After studying using a contextual approach. The study population is graders V Elementary School 240 Pinrang numbered 20 people. Data collection techniques of this study is to test, interviews, observation and field notes. The data analysis using descriptive statistical techniques to describe student learning outcomes. Results of the study are as follows; (1) using a contextual approach to the fifth grade students of Elementary School 240 Pinrang can improve kreativtas students in science subjects to the material properties of light, (2) the teacher is not maximized in designing lesson plans to use the approach of contextual, (3) the teacher should improve the competence using a contextual approach. an increase in students' creativity by using a contextual approach for students during the students learn more actively in the implementation of the learning process.

The purpose of this research is to develop teaching materials using the discovery learning model to improve thematic learning outcomes in elementary schools. This research aims to develop thematic teaching materials based on the discovery learning model for fourth grade students of elementary school and to describe the feasibility of thematic teaching materials products based on the discovery learning model. This type of research is research and development (R&D). The development model used is the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation and Evaluate) model. The results of research on thematic teaching materials based on discovery learning are from the results of assessments carried out by media experts, material experts and students' responses during field trials. The results of the validation show that the overall score is 3.7 so that it is included in the "very good" category and the overall eligibility percentage is 93% so that it is included in the "very appropriate" category. Based on the above explanation, it can be concluded that the thematic teaching materials are based on discovery learning are suitable for learning for fourth grade students of elementary school.

Matematika adalah ilmu abstrak yang membutuhkan benda konkret agar lebih mudah dipahami. Berdasarkan observasi ditemukan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SDN Gugus Pattimura Kebumen masih sangat rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan model discovery learning berbantuan alat peraga kubus satuan terhadap hasil belajar matematika materi volume bangun ruang siswa kelas V SDN Gugus Patimura Kebumen. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian menggunakan quasi experimental dan bentuk nonequivalent control group. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN Gugus Patimura Kebumen. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster sampling, dimana siswa kelas V SDN Peneket sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas V SDN Sidorejo sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes dan non tes. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis yang meliputi uji z, uji t dan uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketuntasan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen mencapai 75% sedangkan kelas kontrol tidak, rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih dari kelas kontrol dan N-gain kelas eksperimen (0,68) > kelas kontrol (0,53). Simpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah model discovery learning berbantuan alat peraga kubus satuan lebih efektif  terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SDN Gugus Patimura Kebumen. Penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi volume bangun ruang kelas V SDN Gugus Pattimura Kebumen. Mathematics is an abstract science that requires concrete objects to be understood. The observation was found that learning outcomes mathematics of fifth grade students at Kebumen Pattimura cluster were very low. This study aimed to test the effectiveness of the discovery learning model assisted by the unit cubes props on mathematics learning outcomes of solid figures volume in the fifth grade at Kebumen Pattimura Cluster Elementary School. The type of this research was experimental research with quasi-experimental design and nonequivalent control group form. The population in this study were all the fifth grade students at Kebumen Pattimura Cluster Elementary School. The sampling technique used cluster sampling, where the fifth grade students of Peneket Elementary School as the experimental class and the fifth grade students of Sidorejo Elementary School as the control class. The data collection techniques used test and non-test techniques. While the data analysis techniques used the normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing which includes z test, t test and N-gain test. The results showed that the experimental class learning outcomes achieved 75% of the passing grade while the control class did not. The average learning outcomes of the experimental class were more than the control class and N-gain of the experimental class (0.68) > control class (0.53). The conclusion of this research was that the discovery learning model assisted by the unit cube props was more effective than the direct instruction model assisted by picture media on mathematics learning outcomes in the fifth grade at Kebumen Pattimura Cluster Elementary School. This research is useful to improve mathematics learning outcomes of solid figures volume in the fifth grade students at Kebumen Pattimura Cluster Elementary School.
