Smoking is one of the bad habits, but among students smoking is a trend that cannot be avoided even though academically education about the dangers of smoking has been delivered since elementary school. This study aims to educate smokers the impact of smoking on student health at Sebelas Maret University of Surakarta. This research was conducted by giving questionnaires and interviewing students from the health and non-health faculties on the dangers, content, and effects of smoking for students. The object population of this research are 2 male students at the Sebelas Maret University, from first and second year of college. Data analysis and research instruments are using questionnaires and interviews with informants. Based on the results of the study, its known that students understand the effects of smoking on health, but by doing education to informant its expected to make the informant more understand and be able to leave smoking behavior to students at Sebelas Maret University of Surakarta.

The aim of study was to find out the approach of to develop of community participation in improving the quality of education process. Community had the important role in education because the community gave the impact on education quality progress. The research used descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques consisted of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in two stages, namely (1) data analysis in single or individual cases and (2) cross-case data analysis. The results of the study concluded that the approach of community participation in the implementation of elementary school education programs in Mataram is the school as a community center. The implication of the results is the concept of developing the community in the process of elementary school education in Mataram and increasing awareness of all parties in formulating the concept of education process.

This research aims to analyze the online learning process in SD Al-Islam Pengkol Jepara and the impact that affects the online learning process. The place of this research was carried out at Al-Islam Elementary School, Pengkol Village, Jepara District, Jepara Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The object of this research is the online learning process applied in SD Al-Islam, while the subjects are teachers and students. The target of this research is the principal of SD Al-Islam Pengkol, homeroom teacher and students. Data obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, documentation and recording. The data analysis used is qualitative data analysis. The continuity of online learning with the processes in it has an impact and can overcome it so that the online learning process can run smoothly.

<p>This study aimed to investigate the impact of a teaching intervention for electric circuits on the content of elementary school students’ written arguments. Educational material was constructed based on the constructivist approach to learning with the use of science and engineering practices and was implemented with 34 students aged 11 years. A questionnaire that was provided to students before and after the teaching intervention (pre-test, post-test) was used to collect the data. Data analysis was carried out by classifying the sufficiency of the components of the arguments into levels. The analysis of written answers (arguments) was performed with a framework for assessing the content of arguments (appropriateness of their components: claim, evidence, and reasoning). This research is a correlation analysis with quantitative approach. The study aims to discribe the assosiation of level relationship between self-esteem and smoking behavior of students in SMK Negeri 2 Soe. Samples were male students of SMK Negeri 2 Soe numbering 70 students. Data was collected by using a scale of self-esteem and smoking behavior questionnaire and then use computer programs for data analysis. Hypothesis testing using Pearson produck moment correlation test to see the correlation between the two variables. The results show the value of the correlation coefficient of -0.333 with a significance value (p) of 0.005 which means Ha accepted that there is a relationship between self-esteem and smoking behavior of students in State Vocational High School 2 Soe.

This study aims to determine the level of physical fitness and nutritional status of state elementary school students 01 Base Sub Base New Koto district. This type of research is descriptive. Sample technique using purposive sampling. The sample in this study was male students aged 10-12 years of class IV and V with a total of 39 students. The instrument, in this case, was carried out by measuring the physical fitness test (TKJI) and nutritional status with anthropometric tests (height and weight). Data analysis techniques using percentages. Based on data analysis, the results of the study found that out of 39 samples of Elementary School 01 Primary School in Koto Baru District School base students had a low level of physical fitness and normal nutritional status of students.

AbstractHumans on earth need social interaction with others. Humans can use more than one language in communication. Thus, the impact that arises when the use of one or more languages is the contact between languages. One obvious form of contact between languages is interference. Interference can occur at all levels of life. As in this study, namely Indonesian Language Interference in Learning PPL Basic Thailand Unhasy Students. This study contains the form of interference that occurs in Thai students who are conducting teaching practices in the classroom. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research that seeks to describe any interference that occurs in the speech of Thai students when teaching practice. Data collection methods in this study are (1) observation techniques, (2) audio-visual recording techniques using CCTV and (3) recording techniques, by recording all data that has been obtained. Whereas the data wetness uses, (1) data triangulation, (2) improvement in perseverance and (3) peer review through discussion. Data analysis techniques in this study are (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation and (4) conclusions. It can be seen that the interference that occurs includes (1) interference in phonological systems, (2) interference in morphological systems and (3) interference in syntactic systems.

This research is motivated by poor teacher performance. For this reason the aim of this research is to improve teacher performance by carrying out academic supervision. This study uses a school action research design that has stages of planning, implementation, observation, reflection. This research was conducted at the target schools in Dumai city from March 4 to April 27. The subjects of this study were grade IV elementary school teachers totaling 11 people. Data analysis instruments use observation sheets that are analyzed and described according to the criteria set. The results showed that the teacher's performance in the first cycle had an average percentage of 65% with sufficient criteria, classically the number of teachers who achieved the indicator of success was 3 people (27%). After repairs with academic supervision, the performance of teachers in the second cycle increased with a percentage of 81% with sufficient criteria. Classically the number of teachers who achieved good performance was 9 people (81%). The conclusion of this study is the implementation of academic supervision can improve the performance of elementary school teachers in the city of Dumai.

This study aims to develop learning comic media that valid good environment and bad environment toward natural sciences learning in environment theme for class III elementary school.. Data collection instrument consicts of interview sheet, questionnaire on teacher needs, quesionnaire on student needs,  quesionnaire on professional media valid, quesionnaire on material expert, quesionnaire teacher responses and quesionnaire students responses. Result from this study showed that data analysis, professional media valid and learning material expert indicate assessment of comic media with average of value professional media I is 91,67% and professional media II is 85%  while result material expert I is 91,67% and maerial expert II is 85%. From that average result indicate that media is reasonable and valid for used to be learning media.
