This study aims to determine the level of ESP students’ satisfaction with online ESP learning courses at three faculties of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The current study examines students’ answers to identify their satisfaction in ESP online courses. The study’s research questions were divided into four categories: the effectiveness of online ESP learning, the availability of learning material used by ESP instructors, the evaluation of ESP teachers’ results, the effectiveness of online testing, and students’ difficulties with ESP distance learning. A descriptive statistical method was used to validate the study. The statistics package JASP was used for data analysis. The authors chose observation, literature analysis, a questionnaire provision, and descriptive data analysis as the research tools. The study results show that students are primarily pleased with ESP courses taught online, students fulfil the expected progress in ESP learning performance. It is revealed that the main problems that influence and impact online ESP learning during COVID-19 are related to technical, academic, and communication challenges. Student satisfaction surveys may lead to changes in ESP online learning activities that may, in turn, boost students’ outcomes. The results provide valuable insight into students’ satisfaction with online learning and pose practical questions for its implementation. As a result, this study is just a preliminary attempt at offering considerate analysis to Ukraine’s policymakers.

This study aims to analyze the students’ satisfaction in the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Fattahul Muluk Papua with the online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is necessary to have an evaluation of the online learning carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic so that the process can be measured and the learning quality may be improved. This study uses five Servqual dimensions, namely Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy to measure student satisfaction with the online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses quantitative methods with data analysis using multiple linear regression. Data were collected from 143 students of the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business IAIN Fattahul Muluk Papua using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The results of this study indicate that the tangible variable and empathy variable has a significant effect on student satisfaction, while the Reliability, Responsiveness, and Assurance variables do not significantly influence students’ satisfaction with online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We delved into the antecedents and consequences of college students' satisfaction with online learning. We proposed the antecedents would be interactions, teaching presence, self-management of learning, and academic self-efficacy, and that the consequence would be intention to continue to use online learning. Participants were 236 college students in South Korea who completed an online survey. Our findings suggest that students' satisfaction with online learning was positively related to the interactions between students and instructor, teaching presence, self-management of learning, and academic self-efficacy. We also found that student satisfaction with online learning positively predicted their intention to continue to use online learning. Thus, our findings in this study provide educators with ways to increase student satisfaction, and add to knowledge about the relationship between students' satisfaction and their intention to take online courses.

The first quarter of 2020 has been a difficult time for the global community. The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is affecting various sectors, one of which is education. Physical distancing policies allow learning to be done remotely. Based on the conditions of distance learning, this study wanted to determine the effect of lecturer co mpetence on student satisfaction during a pandemic. The data was collected by distributing questionnaires to college students using purpose sampling. Data analysis using SEM-PLS method. The results showed that social and personality competence had an effect on student satisfaction, but lecturers' pedagogical and professional competence had no effect on student satisfaction during the pandemic. This can be shown from the inadequate infrastructure of distance learning. Lecturers who are needed now are lecturers who have the power of creativity in delivering material so that the delivery of material to students is more interesting and varied in online learning.

This study examines the effect of student perception in online learning on student satisfaction and its impact on student learning performance and intention to use in the future. The regression analysis method was used based on the survey results from 157 students. Results indicate that students' perceptions of online learning had a positive effect on student satisfaction, intention to use, and student learning performance. Further, student satisfaction has a positive effect on student learning performance but does not affect the intention to use. The implications for lecturers, students, and faculties are also discussed. Background Online learning can play a vital role in the process of teaching and learning during Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. However, learners’ satisfaction is extremely important in effective implementation of the online learning, especially at institutions where it is newly adopted. Objective To assess satisfaction towards online learning and its predictors among students at Chitwan Medical College, Bharatpur. Method A web-based cross-sectional survey was undertaken among 434 undergraduate and postgraduate students from various academic programs who had participated in the online classes started during this COVID-19 pandemic. A structured questionnaire consisting of 31 items (5-point Likert scale) covering four major student satisfaction domains (learners’ dimensions, technological characteristics, instructors’ characteristics and course management and coordination) was distributed to the students using Google Form. Result More than half (53.5%) of the students were satisfied with the online learning, while 29.7% gave neutral views. Bivariate analyses found that all four domains scores were positively correlated with each other as well as with the students’ overall satisfaction towards learning. In multivariate analysis, female gender [aOR: 2.72, p = 0.013], WiFi as internet modality for learning [aOR: 3.36, p = 0.001) and learners’ dimension score [aOR: 1.27, p<0.001] were the significant predictors of students’ satisfaction. Conclusion Although recently adopted, the satisfaction of the students towards online classes appears good, and prioritizing the identified predictors and working on the weak links could assist in enhancing students’ satisfaction and better outcomes.

Aim. The aim of the article is to present the results of a study of gender-related features of the connection between empathy and performance of adolescents during online learning. The main objectives of the study are as follows: defining criteria for online learning success; holding expert assessment of success of online learning of adolescents; studying correlation between the level of empathy and success of online learning in groups of male and female. Methods. The study participants consist of 50 teenagers from a secondary school in Kharkiv (Ukraine) and their 10 teachers. The study uses the following methods: 1) expert assessment; 2) psychological testing (Mehrabian and Epstein Questionnaire); 3) statistical methods. The following is used for statistical data processing: descriptive statistics methods (to measure the percentage of people with different levels of empathy and different levels of online learning performance); Pearson's χ2 consistency criterion- (to compare data distributions in groups of female and male participants by all study indicators); Spearman's correlation analysis (to investigate the correlation between the level of empathy and the level of successful performance of online learning of adolescents). Results. During the study, the aim has been achieved and all the objectives have been fulfilled, in particular: 1) “involvement in online learning” and "quality of online learning" are defined as criteria for online learning successful performance; 2) expert assessment of the study results is carried out, allowing us to determine that female participants show mainly medium and high levels of online learning performance, while male participants show low and medium-level results; 3) it is determined that the correlation between the level of performance of online learning and empathy in the group of girls is higher than in the group of boys. Conclusions. The study shows that the development of online courses requires not only the use of modern technological and methodological approaches, but also taking into account the gender-related and personal traits of students.

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kepuasaan mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran secara online dan efektifitas pembelajaran online (E-Learning). Penelitian ini juga bertujuan agar pembelajaran E-Learning dapat menjadi solusi yang terbaik, dengan memberikan pembelajaran yang efektif demi meningkatkan prestasi peserta didik. Ini juga membantu untuk mencari solusi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan belajar mandiri siswa. Metode pengambilan sampel bertingkat telah diadopsi dalam penelitian ini dan jumlah sampelnya 134 di Universitas Slamet Riyadi (Unisri) Fakultas Managemen. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel kepercayaan diri dan kepuasaan pembelajaran online berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pembelajaran, keduanya bersama-sama mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pembelajaran. Kata Kunci : Kepercayaan Diri; Kepuasaan; Hasil Pembelajaran. Abstract The purpose of this study is to determine student satisfaction in implementing online learning and the effectiveness of online learning (E-Learning). This study also aims that E-Learning learning can be the best solution, by providing effective learning to improve student achievement. It also helps to find solutions to improve students' self-study skills. The stratified sampling method has been adopted in this study and the sample size is 134 at the Slamet Riyadi University (Unisri) Faculty of Management. The findings of this study are students while the variable self-confidence have a significant effect on learning performance, and online learning satisfaction has a significant effect on learning performance, while self-confidence and satisfaction with online learning together have a positive and significant effect on learning performance. In order not to lose continuity in education during COVID-19, universities mainly found the solution in Emergency remote teaching. Student satisfaction with online learning experience is one of the measures of the excellence of learning practice. Our goal was to test the hypothesis that the predictors of students’ satisfaction with emergency remote online learning are their prior experience, attitude toward online learning, their motivation, aspects of the learning situation they value (expectations), and their digital competencies. For estimating students’ satisfaction, a survey was created and disseminated, resulting with 547 responses from students of engineering education. Results showed that all students had some experience with online learning platforms and MS Teams. Attitude toward online learning in this situation was neutral, as well as the level of motivation. Their expectations were relatively high in comparison to their satisfaction with all relevant aspects of the online learning situation, while their digital competency was rather perceived as advanced. Our results showed that the prediction of the emergency remote online learning satisfaction for engineering students can be achieved based on previous positive experience with learning platform, motivation for learning in a specific situation, the importance they put to the learning achievement, and their level of digital competency.

COVID-19 has disrupted most of the industries in the world. Education is the only industry that is completely transferred to online mode in most countries around the world. Online learning was the best solution for continuing education during the pandemic, especially in tertiary education. This study aims to determine the challenges and obstacles confronted by English language learners (EFL) in Science and Arts College, Alula, Taibah University, Saudi Arabia, during switching to online learning in the second semester of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The contribution of this study is to evaluate the learners’ new experiences in online education and to assess the feasibility of the virtual methods of learning. This is achieved by analyzing 184 learners’ responses to the survey-based questionnaire. A descriptive statistical method was used to test the validation of the study. It is found that the main problems that influence and impact online EFL learning during COVID-19 are related to technical, academic, and communication challenges. The study results show that most EFL learners are not satisfied with continuing online learning, as they could not fulfill the expected progress in language learning performance.
