Abstract - Teeth are part of the tools of mastication on the digestive system in the human body, dental disease often suffered by nearly all of Indonesia's population is dental caries, Dental caries is also becoming the major problems of oral health. Dental caries is an infectious disease caused by demineralization of enamel and dentin are closely associated with the consumption of cariogenic foods. The occurrence of dental caries due to the role of caries-causing bacteria found in the mouth streptococci group collectively called Streptococcus mutans. Dental caries is a disease caused by demineralization of enamel and dentin. Disorders in Dental Caries often occur due to various causes, among other things because of bacteria, food and drink a lot of sugars, oral hygiene, etc. Knowledge of the Human Dental caries disease is needed to resolve the issue quickly and appropriately, Most people consider trivial when teeth are not clean them in a state that can be very dangerous unwittingly In his Dental Health, For the treatment should not be done arbitrarily. Thus, eventually the thought of how to cope with the disease and caring for Dental Caries without having to go direct consultation with a doctor or specialist. The development of information technology and computer and Internet use is already well known by the public. can be used to help a good idea ini.Sehingga makes authors want to help to create an expert system application that can perform diagnosis of skin diseases that can also display other information required. With the ease of application of this expert system can be used as a guide for mendekteksi easily caries disease and the type of caries disease and its prevention that occur in human teeth. Sugar is one of the most widely consumed sweetening agents. Unfortunately, its use has been linked to various disease states, such as obesity, diabetes mellitus (DM) and dental caries. Dental caries is a chronic disease which can affect us at any age. The role of sugar (and other fermentable carbohydrates such as highly refined flour) as a risk factor in the initiation and progression of dental caries is increasing day by day. Sugar substitutes are food additives that provide a sweet taste more or less similar to that of sugar and plays important role in control of dental caries.

Recognition of the relationship between soils and human health dates back to ancient times and soil degradation has certainly been an important issue for human civilization. The intake of food quality and its nutrition value depends to a large extent on the health of soils, in which it is grown. Moreover, the quality of drinking water depends upon the mineral-bearing rocks forming the aquifers, the soils through which it passes and the related geo-hydrological parameters. The present study specifically addresses the dental health problems caused due to the in-situ ground condition of the locality and the soil contamination. This kind of study has become more vital considering the fact that the burden of oral diseases is increasing in many developing countries, especially among the rural masses. However, the possible connections between soils or ground conditions and dental problems are yet to be established properly. Mechanism of the incorporation of trace elements into soils and further into human teeth need more understanding. The present appraisal of the works related to soils and human health can be considered as thought-provoking for future research in this field, especially in view of the effects of rapid climate change and industrialisation on soils and human health in recent times.

Elementary school students (elementary school) is a group prone to dental caries occurrence. Some of the main causes are the kind of food consumed and the role of parents towards the child's behavior in maintaining oral health. As for the purpose of doing research is to know the types of food consumed and the role of parents against oral health students. This study uses cross-sectional on the latitude of the month of February 2016 with the subject of research on the students of the country 48 Deah Glumpang, Banda Aceh. The results showed more than half of the students (60%) have problems with dental caries. These types of food consumed by students are mostly amateurish (68.6%). So it is with the role of parents against her son's mouth and dental health is most unfavorable (65.7%). Statistically, the incidence of dental caries in students have relationships with different types of food (p = 0.001) and the role of parents (p = 0.005). Therefore, the type of food and the role of parents of students still need to be advised to maintain oral health students.

Kata Kunci : karies gigi, silver diamine fluoride, Arresting Caries Treatment, topikalAbstractDental caries is a health problem that affects many children all over the world, especially in developing countries, including Indonesia. Tooth decay in children occurs more rapidly than adults because the new tooth eruption is still in the process of maturation and mineralization process is not perfect. Dentin tubules of children is still wide lead sclerotic tissue formation was not perfect and still less saliva buffer so that a more proteolytic activity in the mouth. Fluor is a mineral substance that used as an ingredient that effectively prevent the occurrence of dental caries and can make enamel resistant to decay caused by acid dissolution email. TINJAUAN PUSTAKA99Strategy of caries prevention is more effective since the introduction of silver diamine fluoride (SDF) which is a colorless liquid containing fluoride ions are used to induce the process of remineralization mineral of tooth that is hidoksiapatit. SDF is a method of Arresting Caries Treatment (ACT). That combines the strengthening tooth effects of sodium fluoride (NaF) and the effect of nitrate perak. Used of 38% concentration of SDF solution (44,800 ppm fluoride ion) are effective to inhibit the development of caries in primary teeth of children, especially children who are difficult to be treated. SDF use is simple, easy to apply and use costs cheaper. SDF is a good material to be used in the public dental health problems, especially in children.Key word : dental caries, silver diamine fluoride, Arresting Caries Treatment, topical

Dental caries is attributed to the predominance of cariogenic microorganisms. Cariogenic microorganisms are pathological factors leading to acidification of the oral microenvironment, which is related to the initiation and progression of caries. The accepted cariogenic microorganism is Streptococcus mutans (S. mutans). However, studies have found that caries could occur in the absence of S. mutans. This study aimed to assess the presence of potentially cariogenic microorganisms in human teeth biofilm. The microorganisms were isolated from human mouth and freshly extracted human maxillary incisors extracted for reasons of caries. The isolates were sorted based on their acidogenic and aciduric properties, and the S. mutans was used as the reference strain. Four potentially cariogenic strains were selected. The selected strains were identified as Streptococcus salivarius (S. salivarius), Streptococcus anginosus (S. anginosus), Leuconostoc mesenteroides (L. mesenteroides), and Lactobacillus sakei (L. sakei) through morphological analysis followed by 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis. The cariogenicity of isolates was analyzed. We show, for the first time, an association between L. sakei (present in fermented food) and dental caries. The data provide useful information on the role of lactic acid bacteria from fermented foods and oral commensal streptococci in dental caries.

Teeth are an important part of the body in the digestive process. As a start of the digestive process, teeth receive various kinds of food conditions such as sweet, cold, hard foods, and so on. These food conditions affect dental health so that when teeth are not treated they become vulnerable to disease. Society in general does not pay attention to pain in the teeth. Though the pain in the teeth can be caused by diseases such as dental caries, tartar, and others. The solution of this research is manifested in the form of an expert system to diagnose dental diseases using the Android-based Forward Chaining method. The expert system application used by researchers is McGoo. The purpose of this expert system is to help the public get information and carry out a diagnosis of dental disease independently. Users only need to answer the questions displayed by the system to get the results of the diagnosis in the form of the type of illness and treatment solutions that can be done. The results of the system diagnosis have been tested and validated by experts namely dentists who are the source of information and data. Based on the accuracy of the system diagnostic test results are by the results of the expert diagnosis.
