Breathing plays a leading role in ensuring human life processes. Breathing exercises promote the formation of a certain breathing rhythm in accordance with the muscle movements produced. Each sport requires the formation of its optimal functional state. In bullet shooting, an athlete does not experience intense physical exertion, but must show high coordination, attention and psychological stability. The paper presents an assessment of the effectiveness of the use of breathing exercises as a means of recovery for athletes involved in bullet shooting.  The functional capabilities of the shooters' respiratory system have been studied. The assessment of the tolerance of hypoxic load An improvement in the functional capabilities of the respiratory system of shooters, an increase in tolerance to hypoxic loads were revealed. In both groups, there is a positive effect of the course of breathing exercises on the functional state of the respiratory system. The shooters showed a higher increase in the indicators of functional tests than those who do not go in for sports. The inclusion of respiratory gymnastics in the process of sports training as a means of recovery is effective. The course use of breathing exercises made it possible to improve the functional capabilities of the shooters' respiratory system, to increase their tolerance to hypoxic loads.

The article summarizes the long artistic and pedagogical author’s experience. The features of the development of complete controlled breathing in the process of professional development of the singer are characterized. It is proved that complete singing controlled breathing develops only through appropriate training through the use of special exercises for the respiratory system. Original preparatory and rhythmic exercises for the development of breathing during singing have been developed and described in detail. It is convincingly proven that complete controlled breathing combines the advantages of different types of breathing - diaphragmatic, costal, and clavicular. With fully controlled breathing, not only the respiratory system as a whole is mobilized, but also the functioning of the digestive, cardiovascular and nervous systems of the singer's body is improved, which has a positive effect on the qualitative characteristics of the singing voice. The main conditions of breathing exercises are as follows: clean air; light clothing that provides freedom of the chest and neck; performing exercises before eating; inhale air through the nose; do not overload the lungs with excess air; breathe evenly and elastically; to stand simply, naturally, having taken back shoulders a little, but not to lift them; perform exercises with maximum endurance, attention and calm; avoid excessive muscle tension. In order to master the technique of fully controlled breathing, it is necessary to conduct more classes and train at home on the basis of an individual training schedule.

The review article focuses on the importance of adequate oxygen levels in the body as cure and therapy for many ailments. It is known that hypoxia is the cause for cellular damage and if it can be applied to major patho-physiology’s, it can be observed that slow and chronic hypoxic conditions are the cause for most of the diseases. On the contrary, providing each cell of the body with proper oxygen may be helpful in maintaining the immunity of the body and therefore treating many disease conditions. This theory, if tested may show positive results in heart related diseases, neuronal disorders, stresses, digestive disorders and the unresolved cancer too. Slow decrease in the levels of atmospheric oxygen could be a reason to induce chronic hypoxia. According to Dr. Otto Warburg, a Noble laurate, a normal cell when deprived of oxygen, may get converted to a cancerous cell, whereas a cancerous cell cannot survive in aerobic conditions. If this part of his research be concentrated on, there could be fruitful results in the treatment of cancer. To maintain adequate levels of oxygen in the body, simple yogic breathing practices are helpful. And to maintain the adequate atmospheric oxygen, trees and plants which cleanse the atmospheric air are useful. Clinical surveys on volunteers who have been practicing regular breathing exercises can prove the fact that proper and concentrated respiration could prevent many diseases. Thus, supplementing breathing exercises along with the regular treatment for cancer patients could be helpful in alleviating cancer and other diseases.

Does prosocial behavior promote happiness? We test this longstanding hypothesis in a behavioral experiment that extends the scope of previous research. In our Saving a Life paradigm, every participant either saved one human life in expectation by triggering a targeted donation of 350 euros or received an amount of 100 euros. Using a choice paradigm between two binary lotteries with different chances of saving a life, we observed subjects’ intentions at the same time as creating random variation in prosocial outcomes. We repeatedly measured happiness at various delays. Our data weakly replicate the positive effect identified in previous research but only for the very short run. One month later, the sign of the effect reversed, and prosocial behavior led to significantly lower happiness than obtaining the money. Notably, even those subjects who chose prosocially were ultimately happier if they ended up getting the money for themselves. Our findings revealed a more nuanced causal relationship than previously suggested, providing an explanation for the apparent absence of universal prosocial behavior.

The article provides the results of determining the level of physical development of the 1th-2nd course students of design specialties of the College of Construction, Architecture and Design. The physical development of students was determined by indicators of harmony of the bodybuilding (Kettle index 2), functional state of the cardiovascular system (Ruffier index), and respiratory system (Stange test). Length and weight of the body, heart rate, breathing delay time were measured. As a result of the researches, the “average” level of the physical development is determined in the 1th-2nd course girls and “sufficient” - in boys. Thus, mass-growth indicators of students according to the calculation of Kettle 2 index, both boys and girls correspond to the assessment of 5 points, which indicates a harmonious physique of students; indicators of the functioning of the cardiovascular system (Ruffier Index) of 1st year boys and the 2nd year students make 2 points, which corresponds to the ”below average” level, and the results of the 1st year girls equal to the assessment of 3 points, “average” level; indicators of the functional state of the respiratory system (Stange test) of boys of the 1th-2nd  course correspond to the assessment of 4 points (“above the average” level), and girls of both courses - 3 points (“average” level). In the age and gender aspects, physical development indicators, in general, don’t significantly differ with the general tendency to increase results with age and the dominance of boys over such in girls. The exception is the Ruffier index, where there is an opposite trend - the results decrease with age in girls and they are higher than in boys. Thus, the results of the research indicate the feasibility of introducing the 1th-2nd course students of professional pre-high education of special physical exercises into the process of physical education to improve the functional state of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems.
