The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic has attracted more attention and highlighted the value of public health as well as the need for safe travel. When it comes to the tourism industry affected by the pandemic, the current global situation requires market transformation and innovation in the function of renewing tourist travel. Blockchain technologies in air transport are directing their business solutions towards the most promising opportunities and possibilities of application of this modern technology, now with a focus on overcoming the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on business in the tourism industry. Blockchain-based applications have the potential to improve the user experience in the process of tracking luggage and goods, tracking the health of passengers, managing digital currency for the purchase of airline tickets, passenger identity management, loyalty programs, and more. Blockchain technology has already found application in financial management, storage and management of our personal data and information through a chain that is interconnected in time as a distributed book that records transactions between the parties involved, securely and permanently. This paper aims to present the possibilities of Blockchain technology and contribute to raising awareness of the great potential of application in the business of the airport within the tourism industry.

The role of consent in personal data protection today is probably the first question for researches on how it impacts in our daily lives, ordinarily or on-line. This paper uses comparative method analyzes seemingly opposed essential parts of consent due to lawfulness of personal data processing versus inclusion of same data in a chain using blockchain technology, with the hypothesis that freewill public announcement of personal data substitute explicit consent for their processing. Finally, the author concludes that the principle of lawfulness stated by GDPR is not violated if the personal data processor using blockchain technology does not obtain consent for the processing of personal data, voluntarily put into the chain by another subject in the same “chain” and the “right to be forgotten” isn’t absolute right.

Blockchain is the technology which consists of a chain of blocks that store the necessary information including digital signatures with a validation process in a decentralized and distributed type of network. Immutability, transparency and auditability, make the transactions more secure and tamper proof. In Bangladesh if the paper industries use the block chain technology, then their production and transparency will be very high. Blockchain technology can effectively record every asset throughout its flow on the supply chain, contribute to tracking orders, receipts, and payments. In this paper, data is collected from a large paper industry in Bangladesh and also from online databases for comparison. A qualitative thematic analysis has been performed in accordance with the investigative processes that are developed by Creswell. We evaluated the impact of the most influential design and parameters (load) on the resulting commitment. For analyzing the performance of the model, Markovian Non-purging fork join queueing model is used. Finally, the model is studied by the real word data and to show its functionality.

The development of information technology in the modern economy is one of the drivers of economic growth. Digital technologies are developing at an accelerating pace. Digitalization stimulates not only economic, but also social and technological progress. The impact of digital technology in different industries is not the same. The authors of the article consider such promising modern technology as Blockchain. Its advantage is that the information is protected from unauthorized modification. This transforms the system of economic relations. The level of trust increases. Opportunistic behaviour of participants in contractual relations is blocked. As a result, economic efficiency improves. These positive effects are analyzed in the case of the pharmaceutical industry. The introduction of Blockchain technologies into pharmaceuticals allows you to track all stages of production of drugs and guarantee their quality. Blockchain technology allows you to confirm the authenticity of recipes and the drugs with the help of special digital devices. The consequence of this is a reduction in the number of counterfeit drugs on the market, as well as improving the quality of medical care for the population.

Digitalization uses digital technology to change a business model and provide new revenue models and value-producing opportunities. Blockchain is a type of database that stores various kinds of information in blocks that form a chain of information. It is one of the secured ways of transferring and storage of data. Blockchain is helping in creating trust for digitalization among its users. This research aims to study the impact of trust in blockchain by analyzing the privacy and security concerns that can impact the user attitude and its intention to the adoption process. For this structure, literature review is performed. Five variables are used, and they are attitude, privacy, trust, security, and intention. A questionnaire is developed for survey-based research in the software firms, banking sector, and digital marketing companies. For analysis, exploratory factor analysis and structural equation modeling are used. A model is developed that shows a good fit, and the parameters are satisfied.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to introduce and explore blockchain technology and its potential implementation to hospitality and tourism firms’ wide range of business operations and transactions from a technological and functional point of view. This study’s central interest is to produce novel and rigorous in-depth-review analysis and foundations for a broad discussion and outlook on the potential applications of blockchain technology benefiting hospitality and tourism research, as well as the industry as a whole. Design/methodology/approach This study identifies and proposes several potential areas of the adoption and implementation of blockchain technology to the hospitality and tourism industry, including payment and cryptocurrencies, tracking and service customization, the disintermediation of hospitality and tourism, innovative loyalty programs, smart contracts, integrated property management systems, verified rating and review systems, collaborative initiatives and due diligence and smart tourism, each of which represents fertile avenues for future research. Findings This paper provides extensive critical discussions, reviews and answers to a fundamental question: “What critical functions of Blockchain mechanisms can be implemented to the existing core operational (i.e. booking and reservation systems, guest management, etc.) and business functions (i.e. loyalty/reward programs, agent transactions, etc.) of hospitality and tourism companies?”. Research limitations/implications Future studies should specifically delve further into various angles of this “BizTech” environment based not only on business operations and competition but also on vendor and customer collaboration. Practical implications This study intends to serve as a guidance for future research, facilitate knowledge accumulation and create a new understanding and awareness in both practice and academia. One of the most important applications of blockchain in this industry would be that pertaining to direct booking, online reservation systems (i.e. airlines and online travel agencies) and check-in/out with digital identities. With industry-wide blockchain adoption, guests’ personal information can be digitally validated, saved and secured as previously established cryptographically secured codes verify one’s identity without disclosing essential personal information. Originality/value It is obvious that the hospitality and tourism industry needs urgent technological transformation, industrial innovations and new growth avenues such as the adoption of blockchain technology and systems to maintain its global market share in the future. Therefore, the implementation of blockchain systems can promote the formation of multi-center (i.e. guest operations and customer service), weakly intermediated (i.e. loyalty programs and/or review and rating systems) areas in this industry.

Sources of revenue and expenditure of APBD (regional budget) can be allocated to finance the compulsory affairs and optional affairs in the form of programs and activities related to the improvement of public services, job creation, poverty alleviation, improvement of environmental quality, and regional economic growth. The implications of these policies is the need for funds to finance the implementation of the functions, that have become regional authority, is also increasing. In practice, regional financial management still poses a complicated issue because the regional head are reluctant to release pro-people regional budget policy, even implication of regional autonomy is likely to give birth to little kings in region causing losses to state finance and most end up in legal proceedings. This paper discusses the loss of state finance and forms of liability for losses to the state finance. The result of the study can be concluded firstly,  there are still many differences in giving meaning and definition of the loss of state finace and no standard definition of state losses, can cause difficulties. The difficulty there is in an effort to determine the amount of the state finance losses. The calculation of state/regions losses that occur today is simply assessing the suitability of the size of the budget and expenditure without considering profits earned by the community and the impact of the use of budget to the community. Secondly, the liability for losses to the state finance is the fulfillment of the consequences for a person to give or to do something in the regional financial management by giving birth to three forms of liability, namely the Criminal liability, Civil liability, and Administrative liability. Keywords: state finance losses, liability, regional finance.
