Objective – is to formulate a methodological discourse regarding the place and role of the language interconnected with the process of socialization of a person and develop a systemic idea of the corresponding functional features. Materials & Methods – this discourse is formulated on the basis of a systemic idea of the personality socialization, which, in turn, is realized using the structural-ontological method of studying the subject matter field in interdisciplinary researches. This method involves the construction of special visual-graphic matrices that reflect the interaction of the primary process and the material of the studied system. Results. The work with the structural-ontological matrix made it possible to analyze the functions of the language in the context of such significant factors of socialization as complex psychodynamics, civilization space and the function of reflection. At the same time, reflection is considered at the level of two plans – primary (reflection-bond) and secondary (reflection-splitting). This made it possible to deduce the idea of the role of language beyond the traditional framework of working with text and analyze the place of the language in the context of activities to establish a connection between individuals, which is realized in a specific cooperative situation (Shchedrovitsky). In particular, the look at language as a specific tool of civilizational rationing, the mechanism of which is provided through reflection-communication. Thus, the language is examined through the prism of its systemic influence on the morphology of the psyche. Conclusions – a structural-ontological analysis of the place and role of language in the process of personality socialization has led us to construction of a hypothesis about the phenomenon of language discontentment, as a tendency to distance away ego-consciousness in the process of individuation from linguistic ontology. The arguments were also advanced in favor of the assumption regarding the peculiarities of the influence of language discontentment on cultural activities and the psychodynamic contribution of this phenomenon in the midlife crisis (Jung).

The subject of research is semantic processes in the vocabulary of socio-economic sphere. Objective of research. Analyzes the verbal vocabulary for denoting social-economic concepts and identifies the potential of these linguistic items. Methodological basis of research. In the research, the descriptive-analytical method was used for comprehensive study and description of vocabulary. For the systematization and classification of lexical items, interpretation of their functional features, the methods of linguistic observation and generalization were used; to determine the origin and the original meaning of lexical items – the elements of etymological analysis were used. The comparative method was used to compare the features of semantics, structure, origin and usage of linguistic items of the analyzed field. Results of research. The article analyzes the social-political vocabulary based on differential signs, it characterizes the verbal vocabulary for denoting social-economic concepts and identifies the potential of these linguistic items. Selected a few layers of vocabulary in different spheres of use, defined stylistic role of the term for economic concepts and processes, factors that new lexico-semantic displays have defined are characterized, their stylistic role is defined. The field of application of results. The results of the study can be used in teaching activities in the course «Scientific and technical terminology». Conclusions. Socio-economic vocabulary is a sufficiently broad group of verbs that denote different processes, actions and sometimes states. These lexical items really show what is happening in society in the economic sector. The article concludes that the selected thematic groups of verbs are not closed, they are open both for replenishment by new lexical items and verbs of other lexical-semantic groups.

The subject of the study – rosacea. The purpose of the work is to determine the embryonic genetic factors that can contribute to the emergence and development of rosacea. The data showing the importance of the genetic determination of the development of the disease in some women with rosacea are presented. Correlation analysis suggests that rosacea-like manifestations on the skin can occur with chromosomal abnormalities during embryogenesis. Embryonic genetic factors affect the distinctive characteristics of the “anatomical patterns” of rosacea (structural and functional features of the skin of the face, blood vessels, and the sebaceous hair complex of this area), the further course of the neurogenic component of the skin inflammation process. Keywords : rosacea, embryonic genetic factors, anatomical patterns.

This article presents the findings of a research study that used Q methodology to explore educators’ understandings of cultural competence. Cultural competence has been acknowledged as an important concept in the education profession and has also been the subject of considerable debate across other disciplines. It is a multifaceted concept in that there is a multiplicity of meanings associated with it. This article describes the application of Q methodology as a comprehensive and rigorous approach to explore educators’ understandings of cultural competence. Data collected from 18 participants were subjected to a by-person factor analysis that yielded two significant factors. The findings validate some common elements of existing understandings of cultural competence, however, discrepancies between factors pointed to a more nuanced understanding of the role of families and communities in developing understandings about cultural competence. The findings reported are specifically in an Australian context, however, given the current importance of the nature of cultural competence across a range of disciplines worldwide, it is suggested that the findings may resonate across disciplines locally and globally.

The role of top-down processing on the horizontal-vertical line length illusion was examined by means of an ambiguous room with dual visual verticals. In one of the test conditions, the subjects were cued to one of the two verticals and were instructed to cognitively reassign the apparent vertical to the cued orientation. When they have mentally adjusted their perception, two lines in a plus sign configuration appeared and the subjects had to evaluate which line was longer. The results showed that the line length appeared longer when it was aligned with the direction of the vertical currently perceived by the subject. This study provides a demonstration that top-down processing influences lower level visual processing mechanisms. In another test condition, the subjects had all perceptual cues available and the influence was even stronger.

The subject of alignment is not new to the world of education. Today however, it has come to mean different things and to have a heuristic value in education according to research in different areas, not least for neuroscience, and to attention to skills and to the alternation framework. This paper, after looking at the classic references that already attributed an important role to alignment in education processes, looks at the strategic role of alignment in the current context, outlining the shared construction processes and focusing on some of the ways in which this is put into effect.Alignment is part of a participatory, enactive approach that gives a central role to the interaction between teaching and learning, avoiding the limits of behaviourism, which has a greater bias towards teaching, and cognitivism/constructivism, which focus their attention on learning and in any case, on that which separates a teacher preparing the environment and a student working in it.

Objective methods for competence evaluating of scientists in the subject domain pertinent to the specific scientific product – research project, publication, etc. are proposed. These methods are based on the semantic matching of the description of scientific product and documents that confirm the competence of its authors or experts in the domain of this product. In addition, the use of knowledge acquired from the Web open environment – Wiki-resources, scientometric databases, organization official website, domain ontologies is proposed. Specialized ontology of scientific activity which allows to standardize the terminological base for describing the qualifications of researchers is developed.

AbstractThe article presents the results of the review of the empirical literature regarding the impact of quantitative easing (QE) on emerging markets (EMs). The subject is of interest to policymakers and researchers due to the increasingly larger role of EMs in the world economy and the large-scale capital flows occurring after 2009. The review is conducted in a systematic manner and takes into consideration different methodological choices, samples and measurement issues. The paper puts the summarized results in the context of transmission channels identified in the literature. There are few distinct methodological approaches present in the literature. While there is a consensus regarding the direction of the impact of QE on EMs, its size and durability have not yet been assessed with sufficient precision. In addition, there are clear gaps in the empirical findings, not least related to relative underrepresentation of the CEE region (in particular, Poland).

AbstractThe aim of this article is to analyse the role and importance of leaders in the Czech populist parties and movements, as well as determining significant factors which condition their institutionalisation. The main focus will be placed on the role of leaders in establishing their respective parties, their formal position and intraparty selection processes in VV, ANO, SPD and ÚPD. Examples of actions taken by the leaders of ANO and SPD show that building populist parties on the foundation of the strong, formal and official position of the leader in their party as well as becoming open to more members prove effective when it comes to the discussed issues...
